The appetizers were really good. Entrée not so great. Something I can easily make at home.

I was on a business trip with Orkin Commerical Services and found the place walking from my hotel. I had the chef speical with was Lobster Stuffed Ravioli with Crab on top. I must say it was the best stuffed Ravioli I have had in a really long time. Great job and my hats off to the chef.

The food and service are pretty good! The relaxed atmosphere is also very nice. It’s probably one of the best mom and pop Italian joints in the city. What I don’t about this place is the complete inflexibility to make substitutions. For example — I really like angel hair noodles. Most places have no problem honoring a request for angel hair as a substitute for a spaghetti side. Not Il Bacio. Don’t even ask — you’ll be rudely put back into your place. That’s the only reason that keeps me from giving this place a hire rating.

The restaurant itself has a somewhat upscale feel to it with nice touches of décor. The servers were very attentive and kind when it came to helping my boyfriend and me figure out what to eat.(He’ll eat anything when he’s starving, but I just get pickier.) Unfortunately, the pizza didn’t quite live up to the hype that we thought it would. There weren’t more than two other tables while we dined so it wasn’t a matter of being busy. For being in such a nice area of Atlanta, I expected better.

I love Italian food and this by far is one of my top places! I can enjoy anything that’s on the menu! The dish that I always get is the Gnocchi Bolognese! It’s a small place but still runs classy and professionally. Awesome prices and definitely will be going back soon!

Loved the calamari fritti. First time visiting and I will be back. The pizza was 3.00 a slice for pepperoni during lunch. The Dr. Pepper was in a can so you pay for refills. Overall good food fast friendly service.

I remember when this place it first opened and I would always go and only order pretty much one thing; bacon avocado sandwich. It was a Wednesday tradition. That combined with their extra crunchy fries, it was my favorite lunch stop in the whole city. Delicious and affordable. Sadly the last two visited they have changed their sandwich. They are using a different bread, they have gone from a regular Focaccia to using a tomato Focaccia causes the sandwich to be extremely mushy. That bacon is no longer as fresh, and feels a little cheap and oily(no crunch). It’s not a bad sandwich, it’s just not my favorite anymore. I’ve been told the rest of the dishes are great if you are looking for lunch in the area. Family Owned and friendly, The service is excellent. The fries are still my favorite in the city!

I don’t know what it is about this area and bad service, in fact as I type this now I see where someone else gave them one star for bad service. The only difference between my review and the other one is we did complain to the manager but we actually got the manager to step in and do something. As far as the food goes we ordered the pizza and it actually rivaled some of the better pizza shops I’ve been to since I’ve been here. Because of that i’ll be back on the days I don’t want to cook but please oh please do something about your wait staff.

I stopped in tonight for dinner since I was craving a little bit of food from home. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the restaurant, it’s got a great atmosphere, smells good and the staff were very friendly. Started off at the bruschetta which they do a really nice job with it. it’s very fresh and it’s got a nice flavor & spice. They serve it” dip style” so instead of the bruschetta on the bread as an appetizer it’s actually served in a bowl with the warmed toasted bread in pieces on the side. Actually liked having served this way because it gave a lot more of the tomato and almost becomes a version of bread and tomato salad if you want it that way. My entrée I had chicken parm with a side of spaghetti. They give you a nice portion of chicken and they cooked the spaghetti itself really well. My only disappointment was in the tomato sauce itself. It had a slightly under cooked flavor, it was very very sweet and lacked any depth to it and hadn’t cooked out its rawness. Had it cooked on the stove for a longer period time with more herbs in it I think it would’ve been fine, but it ended up tasting as if the kitchen opened a can and pan heated it up before the plating. Several of the other dishes that came out of the kitchen looked really good, so I’m thinking I’ll try it again and am hoping to see that maybe it was just an off night.

What I really recommend here is the chicken Parm or grilled chicken and avacado sandwich. Both are really good. Plenty of free parking, small casual restaurant.

I’ve had better pizza and this is expensive. But still delicious and a good eat for lunch. Inside is nice however it could be cleaner. My server was good. Will be back but definitely only when I feel like splurging on lunch.

Worst experience I have EVER had at a restaurant in Atlanta. Super slow service, food wasn’t great and then when I expressed my concerns with the manager and owner, their response was«we can’t do anything. I’m sorry but oh well. I hope you come back.» Are you kidding me? Am I being pranked? I addressed this with the owner out of courtesy because as a business owner, I would want to know if a customer wasn’t satisfied with their experience. Contrary to what reviewer Chris M. said, I wasn’t looking for or needed a free meal. I paid the bill before my conversation with the owner and I tipped our waitress very well! What happened to the customer being always right? There are too many restaurants in Atlanta to spend my money somewhere where I have to beg for great service and great food.

Location: in the heart of buckhead shopping and more! Across the street from many Marshalls Homegoods and more. Great spot to shop and eat. Service: Servers were quick and knowledgable. Would have been nice to hear recommendations or something other than«what do you want» but it isn’t a 5 star restaurant, so no complaints there. Drinks: I chose a cappuccino for my drink today and it was out of this world! I am a huge coffee fan and this was quite the treat! Tasted fresh and well made. Food: There were 3 menus to choose from which made it tough to decide on something. Sunday brunch menu, lunch menu, and the regular menu. I ordered the Chicken and Avocado sandwich. The Focaccia bread was delicious and fresh. Overall I would give 5 stars but my only recommendation is to come during lunch for almost 50% the regular menu prices. It feels more like a lunch spot than a dinner spot.

I went here this past Saturday. I wanted something different besides your regular Pizza Hut or Domino’s Pizza. The staff was very friendly upon entering. We chose to sit outside on the patio as it was a very sunny day. The waiter was very knowledgable, upbeat, and friendly. We purchased a pepperoni pizza, with feta cheese and peppers. The wait time for our food was about 10 mins and it was pretty busy. 10 mins isn’t a bad wait time for pizza. The sweat tea was delicious. The pizza tasted amazing. I will be returning. It was my first time having a brick oven pizza, and I think I’m hooked.

we came here on a quiet monday night after browsing Unilocal for a bite to eat in the area. we were greeted by a chef behind the counter and told to seat ourselves. this place is super cozy and clean, and there are a few tvs to catch a game or the news. outdoor seating is also available. our server came shortly after with complimentary bread, which was warm, crusty, and perfect with olive oil and balsamic. just enough to whet your appetite. I was torn between pizza and pasta, but ultimately decided on my standby when I can’t choose, eggplant parmigiana with pasta marinara. my boyfriend ordered the milanese panini. food came out quickly. the sauce on my entrée was watery and under-seasoned for my liking, however the panini was delicious. the breaded chicken was crisp but still juicy, the pesto was salty and herbaceous, but the fries were slightly overcooked. overall, food was decent. perhaps we caught them on an off night because previous reviews had us excited to check this place out. great service and fair prices make this a 3-star review.

I really enjoy Il Bacio, where holy smokes, you get what you pay for! Portions are huge so ignore the price(some of the prices seem a bit steep) and enjoy! I’ve only patroned Il Bacio for lunch, but I’m sure its lovely for dinner too. For lunch, I’ve typically ordered 2 slices and split a house salad with a friend, but I’m realizing this is too much food, ha! I really either need to split a salad and have 1 slice, or have 2 slices, but split the 2nd slice with someone. Their red sauce is super tasty and flavorful with lots of fresh herb taste to it. I really enjoy their spinach and mushroom pizza as well as their sausage and pepperoni. Slices are huge at lunch; just look in the case as you walk in to see what’s on special. I did divert one day and ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich. The price tag was around $ 9 and I see why — its HUGE. I easily could have split the meal with another person and if I want it again, I will(or plan to take leftovers home). I should note that their fries are also super delicious. Service is always great and I love the folks that own this place. They are so kind and friendly and make you feel right at home.

Don’t be fooled by the strip mall location. This place is legit. Went there for lunch and had the grilled shrimp and bacon on focaccia. I highly recommend. My friend had a slice of the fresh pizza and a bowl of soup. Both looked delicious. Tried some of their made-in-house gelato which was definitely good enough to make a special trip to get again. Try the«Green Monster» flavor!

Second time eating here, once dining in and then tonight to-go. Both times have been very good experiences. I’ve had: salmon with lemon, garlic and shaved asparagus over spinach Vodka Sauce pizza Gnocchi Penne alla vodka Calamari Caesar Salad The highlight for me was the salmon dish. It was cooked perfect and with little to no butter. Definitely a plus. The Gnocchi is homemade and great. Very soft and melts in the mouth. As you can tell I’m a big pan of their«pink» sauces. The vodka sauce is great as is the Bolognese cream sauce that is on the gnocchi. I ordered out tonight but last time I are there I remember the service being good– our waiter was attentive but not intrusive.
