We saw a roach crawling around while we were waiting for a table, decided to walk out. Disgusting!

As I’m in Georgia now, no more after club stops to EatnPark(and therefore no smiley cookies) so Waffle House it is. The location was convenient to the Gold Room and even at 3am they weren’t crazy packed but definitely busy. It took a while for us to get our food, but then again, it’s 3am with a full house. The food came out well and I was happy with my hash browns. Now the Best Part: Our waitress disappeared a lot so usually that’s a star off, but they gained it all back for the DRAMA that went down. For those who do not know me, I am enthralled with late night food drama! [see my ROTD review on the sadly closed Sandwich Shoppe in Pittsburgh] Seriously, I don’t know what got into these girls but I there was miscommunication about their bill. Either they had already paid and the waitress was trying to make them pay twice [I doubt] or she had simply forgotten. DRAMAATTHEWAFFLEHOUSE! There was screaming, there was Finger wagging, weave shaking, hair flipping and threats to call the police. The waitress [an established figure it seemed as she was captain to the rest] became the center of attention. «815!!! It’s $ 8.15 [bellowing in an Oprah voice], that is what you owe me» «Call the police is you like, about $ 8 and 15 cents!» The crowd, of course, was on watch. I took a seat, my companions uncomfortably stood waiting to pay their bills, the 5 freshly red faced and sunburnt country boys not yet seated, panicked and fled the scene. In all of the commotion, I actually accidentally walk out without paying my own bill [I thought the boys were taking care of it], the girl thankfully chased after me. I was quite embarrassed, especially after what I had just witnessed but we got it all fixed. All in all, I LOVED the affair, but my companions grumped and said they should have gotten pizza. I’m sure this won’t be the last time I shall come back to this location.

«The sight of a cigarette stubbed out on a patty melt. All this plus the anticipation of placing your feet in shoes only seven thousand others have worn before you.» — Cheers, Season 4, Episode 9 Eight people working post-lunch on a Tuesday… really? And they still managed to mess up my order. Sigh. I came in here because I was seriously craving hashbrowns and had not yet eaten lunch. I figured I would pop in and grab a to-go order and that would be that… there were more employees than patrons at 2pm. Weird. I sat at the counter and a woman asked if it was for here or to-go. I told her to-go and she walked away… Huh? She came back 2 minutes later and asked if anyone had taken my order. Nope. She took my order(which is mostly standard and I know the lingo). She wrote it up and then passed it to a woman who was only standing there to call the orders out to the grill… really? I heard her call it incorrectly.(DC is double covered… she called it as diced). I corrected her over the noise and she laughed and went into a diatribe about how DC should mean diced. She recalled my order(both times telling the grill that the patty melt should have NO onions). I sat and watched as my order was prepared. The grill man pulled out a plate and two people walked past him to remind him my order was to-go. He finally pulled out the to-go container. At some point, onions were put on the grill. I tried to get his attention(and others) and at this point it was too crazy in there(8 employees, of course it was) and I saw him ruin my patty melt with those onions. I walked to the cash register and the woman who took my order was there to ring me up. She gave me my total and I told her that despite being told twice, the guy still put onions on my patty melt. She offered to have him«take them off,»(not remake it) and I said no, I could do that when I got home. She took off $ 1 from my order for the mistake and sent me on my way. I appreciate her compensating me. For so many people working there, they should be able to get the orders right. Especially when it was not busy. The food was good(despite onions) and I may return.

I visited this waffle house that shares a parking lot with the Home Depot on Piedmont and Sydney Marcus on a week night. The food was like your basic waffle house, but I had to write a review because I had the best waiter, and his name was Jhurmon. Jhurmon was attentive and gregarious and told me about menu options I never knew existed. His birthday had been a few days before, and he told me so. Over all Jhurmon was an excellent server, and I’d go back just to enjoy his personality again. He even did a little dance while telling us about Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue sauce. If you ever see Jhurmon at waffle house(he also works at the one on Pharr Road), you should engage with him. He’ll be a bright spot in your day.

This is probably the most packed Waffle House I’ve been to! Waffle House is my go-to breakfast establishment whenever I go to Atlanta. Food is good and cheap, what more can you ask for? Pro tip: Always order an OJ with your meal :) also, always get the hash browns smothered and covered

In my opinion this is the second best Waffle House in Atlanta(I prefer the Georgia Tech location). The food is routinely ready in a timely manner and the staff is friendly. Obviously anyone who’s been to Waffle House knows what to expect in terms of the actual food. It’s not that it’s that great but the cooks are consistent in the sense you’ll never have a bad meal. It’s a safe bet if you’re looking for something quick and greasy after a night of drinking.

The best WH in Atlanta. Excellent service, food is very fresh, and music is on point. The waffle I had was blueberry and it was the fluffiest waffle ever experienced at any WH. I will be back!

Came in for a lunch break with one of my best friends after a stressful day of classes and errand running. Quiet, pretty well kept and the staff was pleasant. Would go again!

It’s a Waffle House. No difference in quality from the rest. Service is always fast, and the food is just as passable. It’s usually pretty clean. Doesn’t get very busy, but the parking lot can get pretty rowdy at nights. I’ve never had a problem with anything about this location. I go every once in a while when lazy for some breakfast food. Always delivers.

Really impolite customer service. When I arrived I looked for seat. The lady in front started to treat you like a person she does not want in first place. She did not want you to have a seat in the bar or open counters! It was odd to me. Then I saw a person spitting out of the door to road. Spitting. Really? People move on the way there and you could spit on someone! Wow I felt place was roof and unhygienic. The staff is untrained and looks to be really low quality. Left without eating

I moved away from Georgia a few years ago and came back«home» to visit for a Bachelorette weekend last month. Waffle House was on my to-do list, it just isn’t the same outside of Georgia. The food here tasted great. However our server messed up our order a little. Nothing that wasn’t easily fixed, just frustrating since we had waited about 30 minutes before even getting a table. It happens though. The dining area was very clean, but then when you pay you see the kitchen, and it made me a little uncomfortable. It was a very very busy Saturday morning though. I wouldn’t recommend this for a group larger than four or five.

This waffle house was packed when we got there this morning… we had to wait a half hour for a table(seemed like forever because we weren’t feeling so hot. .needed food)! Our server was very nice and attentive! Even though they were crazy busy our food still came out very quickly(10 minutes)! This location was pretty dirty but I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt as they were slammed! Food was good, I mean it’s waffle house, but my hash browns were disappointing! They are my favorite part of breakfast there and they didn’t have a very good crunch at all, I didn’t get very many onions, and they were more greasy than normal. There was a bunch of grease on the plate when they were gone and I normally don’t notice this!

2:15pm on a Sunday. Not too crowded, booths available. A sign at the door that said to sit yourself when there is no hostess… we sat and waited. 20min. Two different servers glanced at our table and ignored us. Two booths arrived after us and were helped. Tried to get someone’s attention and nothing. Got up to leave. Nobody looked at us so then I decided to ask for the manager who was in the back. Told him what happened. His only reaction was to say«i am sorry about that» and then a server when to our booth to clean it… oh well…

Got coffee poured into my shoe. Waited 15 minutes before they took my order. Got a cup and a half into my coffee before I discovered a bug, wings and all, at the bottom of my cup. I asked for the coffee to be taken off my check and was then stared down by several of their employees for the remainder of my visit. When I checked out, one of our three servers then blamed it on me that the bug was in the coffee(yes, obviously I have a purse full of them). Left a bad taste in my mouth to start off my day.

So desperation drove me here at this early hour(5:39 am). See, that apartment building you might have heard about on or wherever, that had the tree fall on it two days ago? That was mine. Fortunately, my apartment itself is fine(the two upstairs units in my little four-unit section were not so lucky) but it’s basically a condemned space with no power. Indefinitely. We can go in to collect things, at least before the cranes arrive today to finish removing the tree, etc, but since we had to evacuate so quickly when you don’t grab things like your phone or laptop cord, you’re kinda screwed when you try to charge one on the other… Which leads me to trying to figure out where and how to recharge my batteries(in all ways — wouldn’t you know I’d have to work a double the day after APD and AFD have to evacuate me from my abode? Figures.) — and the nearest and quietest WaHo came to mind. I didn’t want to risk the other one on Piedmont given how loud it was last time and am delightedly surprised at how nice this small location is now — especially as there is a booth right next to a four-some outlet so I can charge back up! Oh, and diet coke and some kind of breakfast product won’t hurt either. This time around, this WaHo has nice staff, a bright and clean environment and everything I need at the moment — wonder if they have a cot in back where I can bunk?

This was not the place to drag along a huge group of hungover people for a New Years Day breakfast. WaHo doesn’t really have a very group friendly atmosphere. Largest table can hold four people. But on to important things, the food. My friends wanted breakfast and of all the places WaHo was the winner. The line was long and the wait was longer. After an unknown amount of time as we were about to walk out, give up and walk somewhere else. We found a way to squeeze 6 people into a tiny table. It was like human Tetris. The All-Star is the famous WaHo breakfast meal that comes with everything, a meat, eggs, waffle, grits or hashbrown, toast, etc. for less than $ 10, that’s a lot of food! And we all decided to order that, how we fit all that food on the table was impressive. It was one of the cleanest WaHo’s I’ve seen and the staff was very friendly and patient, especially with all the people that were being herded in and out. WaHo is not my favorite breakfast place, but I’d go to this one again.

This is a good quality Waffle House. I’ve been here many times as it is in the parking lot of my apartment complex. The food is always quality and the cheese eggs are always awesome! Its clean, the service is pretty good. It is only slow when the restaurant is slow. Its good for late night/early morning and even dinner. The chocolate pie is always an excellent choice for dessert, or if you’re too full, then take it home! Its still awesome later. I’ve never had my order wrong before. I usually make my own honey mustard(ask the server for honey) and order a grilled cheese and dip it in there. It makes for a great late night snack!(i know its not healthy) I also noticed last time I was here that they put in a menu for meals under $ 5. Check this out! Theres also some fresh salad options. Hopefully they’ll add Honey Mustard as a dressing soon! Thanks for reading!
