This is a little local area! And I loved it… can’t wait to try everything on the menu… Didn’t want nothing to heavy today so I got a fresh thai basil roll and a vegetable spring roll and it tasted so fresh!.yumm wish I ordered some more. the guy who serviced me(a african-american /with braids) left me with a great experience about this about. his service was outstanding… definitely will be coming back!

Experience was good not great. Bit of a line to order, but it moved quickly enough. I ordered the Sesame Stir-Fry. The food was cooked and delivered to the table in a short amount of time. The chicken and broccoli tastes fine, although they were mostly on the top of the dish. The food below the chicken and broccoli was swimming in the sauce though. If you are looking for a quick bite on the area and are feeling(Americanized) Asian food, give this place a shot.

I love love love Tin Drum. Every dish is unique in its own way. They keep it current and add something new to the menu seasonally which is a plus. My absolute favorite thing no matter when I visit is the Crab and Cheese Spring Rolls. You cannot eat just one. I promise you its difficult. This location is upbeat and fun. Had a great time here.

It is unfortunate that the Lindbergh area, consisting of Sidney Marcus Blvd and nearby Piedmont Rd fails to offer a single place to eat that is on par with Atlanta’s reputation for a variety of good food; this uninspired placeholder of a noodle house has fed me fatty, sour beef for the final time. For Noodles/rice bowls check out Noodle, Gusto!, or even Buford hwy Asian spots.

Been to several Tin Drum shops across Atlanta. This one has a fairly standard level of service. The tin drum chicken is a favorite of mine. The restaurant is close to home deport, best buy, … in the same shopping plaza. If you have to go shopping in the neighborhood this is a great place to stop for lunch /above average fast food.

Tin Drum is always a great place for quick Asian food. It is easy and fast. This most recent time I ordered the pad thai with chicken and husband ordered the sweet n sour chicken. He also ordered the street food fries? It was some french fry dish that had bacon on it and some other sauce… maybe barbeque? My pad thai was great. Their portions are ghinormous. When I had finished my lunch, it looked as if I hadn’t even started there was so much left. Husband’s food was good as well. It was very flavorful and the chicken tasted fresh. The fries were weird, good, but weird. I am 99% sure they were not actual french fries, like not a potato base, but rather some type of noodle? The bacon was delish, but there was some weird topping on it that we could not determine what it was, maybe guacamole? Overall, good place for fast food. My only complaint is that it is a bit pricey. We ended up spending over $ 30 for 2 entrees, a tiny bowl of fries and one coke. A bit more than I would like to spend on a fast food lunch.

Lo Men with vegetables was the best of the 3 dishes we ordered. The others were Sing Chow Mein and Pad Woon Sen

I’ll never step foot in this location until your kitchen staff has been disciplined and properly trained or you have replaced them. How I was treated should never happen to anyone who raises a legitimate concern about the quality of food. When you work in an open kitchen you can see how people interact and what’s going on.

No frills Asian cuisine at a great value and always fast. Solid go-to spot for rice bowls or noodles.

Tin Drum is within walking distance to my hotel so I decided to order takeout since it was about 45 minutes away from closing time: BADDECISION! I ordered one Thai Coconut Soup and one Pad Thai without carrots or sprouts but they were nice enough to add them to my meal anyways –come on, it was on the ticket line preps! I am not really sure how a restaurant can make these two items taste so horribly(considering they are pretty much a staple in the American«takeout cuisine») but somehow they achieved it! Both items were unfortunately thrown in the trash within three bites… disgusting… I would honestly rate this with no stars which I have never considered doing before!

I was very excited to have Asian food for lunch, so when I ordered my dish I was ready for fulfillment. The first ¾ of the meal were great and I could not have been happier. The noodles were unique and the food was tasty. Then it started… A few pieces of half cooked chicken, which I ignored and ate around. Then the highlight of the meal: plastic. I didn’t notice it since it was clear and I realized upon putting biting into a mouthful of noodles. I was very upset and everything that this Tin Drum had going for it(convenient location, ease of ordering, friendly staff) all went down the drain. I would eat at another Tin Drum, but would be weary about this one. Also, a word to management: I believe it should not be an issue for employees to glance at their phones or whatnot, but there were employees perched in clear sight, behind the condiment table texting away. At least tell them to go in the back and text! — From a person who has been in the restaurant business for 17 years.

Ok, so this reivew is based on the service not the food because the guy at the counter was so rude that we ended up not eating here at all. I know i’ve said on a ton of different occasions that customer service is key to your business staying open or shutting down quickly. I haven’t been to many Tin Drum locations and the last time i’ve been to one it might have been years ago. Now i’m living in a new area and there’s one right across the street from me. Hey who knows this might be my go to spot and a place that I would recommend to others. Now I wouldn’t take or recommend anyone to come to this location. In all fairness I’ll give them another chance and review again but it’s going to be a minute before I can work up to that.

This place is not the best place to get Thai food if that is what you’re craving. I’ve been to this location, Atlantic Station, and GSU aderhold location. They all taste the same. The food is very bland and does not taste like anything. The price is all right of the amount they give.

Walking in, the place looked kind of unkept, but clean? Weird I know. Definitely food court or cafeteria feel and I skipped a few tables because they weren’t wiped off. The counter is oddly placed and it was hard for me to figure the line out, but I got a menu and ordered some sesame chicken and brown rice with water, I received my food within a reasonable amount of time, and that’s when the fire nation attacked. The food was hot, and that’s where it stops with positives. On first bite immediately I could tell it was cheap maybe even frozen chicken bites. It was not good enough to be considered good, and was not bad enough to where I didn’t eat my food. It was just there. Just food to eat. Mediocre«Asian flavor» and brown rice and broccoli. My water«glass», may have been plastic, I don’t remember, but had so much white film on it I had to rinse it out before I used it. My stomach started hurting about half an hour after, and they would have gotten two stars but it’s been hurting since then. Very, very skeptical to give another shot at this place, nowhere near the quality of a place like pei wei.

I like the food. The chicken basil is solid. Their curries, noodles, and street tacos are good, nothing spectacular but good food. What I really like about this place is the service. Even though you can say this is a «fast food» place, it doesn’t feel like it. You can tell people actually enjoy working here.

Decent food and affordable. Pad Thai, mango, and sesame chicken are our favorites. It’s a good portion, fast and cool place to go. If you are not looking for a fancy place and wants a tasteful food, try it. They also have some kids eat free days

Pleasantly surprised with Tin Drum. It looks like a food court place, but I’d say it is more akin to a Thai/Asian Chipotle(with admittedly less options). I got the namesake dish, which was really good. Tasty, not too spicy, and a good amount of food. Very reasonably priced, fast, and tasty food. I have no idea if its authentic, but it really outdid what I expected. Some people seem to be underwhelmed they didn’t get Tuk Tuk style service, which I think is nuts given this place doesn’t market itself as anything but an Asian fast food restaurant. I’ll be back for sure.

I wasn’t expecting the world from Tin Drum, or top quality authenticity; I just wanted some quick, decent Thai food for lunch. Even with those expectations, it was barely above«Meh». I decided to go with the standard Pad Thai. First of all, it came out really quickly, so that’s a plus. I had barely gotten my fountain drink and picked a seat and sat down. It was OK. It wasn’t spicy at all, but I guess I could’ve asked for it spicy. The chicken though tasted like it didn’t have much seasoning on it at all. I’m not even sure if I should give it 3 stars… But it was fast, big portions, they bring the food to you and bus your table. I think I want to give it another shot and try something else.

The cashier that took our order was awesome. My chicken tikka masala was superb and I know my way around a tikka masala. It’s not super fancy but for such an inexpensive chicken tikka masala I am fine with that. I recommend this place. Don’t be deterred by some of the reviews.

If an Asian restaurant and a food court spot had a baby its name might be Tin Drum. At first glance, it feels a lot like an escapee from the Lenox Mall food court. You place your order at the front counter and pay for it upfront. However, instead of having to choose from pre-prepared, heat lamp warmed fare your food is cooked to order. Take a seat at a table and a few minutes later someone from the kitchen brings your food and drink out to you.(The fountain drinks are self-serve but I ordered a Thai tea and an employee brought it out to me.) Essentially you get table service and a sit down meal without the obligation to leave a 20% tip. The menu features an assortment of Chinese, Korean and Thai foods. I used to order Tom Yum Soup with shrimp but for some reason Tin Drum took it off the menu. I’m still struggling to find something on the menu I like better. Minus 2 stars for tantalizing my taste buds with that delicious soup and then taking it away. That’s just wrong.

Great food. Love it. Quick service. Here are picks Food with spicey yellow sauce is great and I added mango to it and made it vegetarian. So so good!
