Corner Bakery Cafe

Customer service is non existent, especially when placing a to go order. God forbid Asia to answer the phone, you’re going to hold for at LEAST five minutes. Only for her to ask what are you having today, yet and again placed on another hold that’s greater than two minutes. I went into the café while still holding for her to return to the line and take my order, just as I suspected no one is waiting inside the restaurant to place an order. I’m just holding on the phone for no reason at all. This establishment when first opened was nothing less of the Chick-​Fil-​A wow experience, now it’s as common as a McDonald’s. Food is still delicious that hasn’t changed YET.

I think they are better than Panera. Have always had good fast service and the food has always been good. I like the BBLT. Trying the uptown turkey and avocado sandwich tonight :).

I came here for breakfast on a Saturday with no expectations (having never been to a corner bakery) and was pleasantly surprised!
The restaurant is nice and clean, the service was friendly, food was good, prices good, and food came out quick! They have a full breakfast menu that transitions to lunch. I don’t believe they are open for dinner (see below).
The food seemed very fresh and good, and the prices were great! They offer a great value for the quality of the food. They have a decent sized patio, probably around 10 or so tables.
Definitely check them out if you are searching for a more simple breakfast place (by simple I mean order at the counter, food brought to your table).
NOTE: I tried several times to call the restaurant to find out their breakfast and lunch times, as this seems like important information I would look for in a review, but no one answered the phone! I can’t find it on their website either. SO — I would try calling prior to heading their way to determine which menu they are serving (and maybe they will answer the phone this time!).

We walked in to see three cashiers talking. The gay guy appeared upset like we had interrupted them. I have never been in the store before so I had no idea what to to order. I ordered the Swiss and pretzel and the a blueberry muffin. He didn’t offer to heat the muffin up, instead just stuffed it into a bag. The sandwich was absolutely terrible i felt like I just ate a plastic play sandwhich. I had to drink my drink everytime I took a bite just to choke this garbage down. Save your money and disappointment and go to subway/Lenny’s subs, panera/​jersey mikes. This place sucks.

I’m loving this new location for Corner Café.
My order consisted of chicken salad, croissant and black bean soup. All of the items were filling and tasty indeed.
Hubby ordered the buttermilk pancakes and bacon. He was licking his lips and was amused at how good it turned out. Pancakes looked fluffy and yummy and he wouldn’t even let me steal a bite.
Free Wifi, lots of dining area and cleanliness were a plus!
It’s a very quick option for brunch and there are plenty of healthy items to choose from.

Yawn! The food is okay but honestly I’m not very excited about coming back. Just another boring chain restaurant.

I always come here since is so close to me and the food is always good. BUT, came here on a Wednesday night to pick up something quick and it was closed at 8:30 when it should be 9. I walked in and the staff was absolutely rude they keep on yelling at me that it was closed. Yelling like I was some idiot and why would they close ½ earlier than what they have posted. I will never come back to this location again !!!

Great spot with great service. While we were eating they checked on us at least 4 – 5 times and were very pleasant. The food is great and I liked that I could order a healthy breakfast.

Catering is a joke. They left me on hold for half an hour and still got my orders incorrect. The shift manager did at least apologize (Though he was a not responsible). However being that we ordered for two days in a row, the catering manager was made aware and barely acknowledged their oversights after we had to call bs k twice to inform them of the issue.
This is a newer location so the expectation is that they would be on pad with other locations in terms of speed, service and accuracy. Not so far, especially bad with catering. Going for lunch is hot or miss in terms of speed but at least the service much better and the accuracy of the orders are good when ordering outside of catering. This location is still not as good as the much busier downtown location.

I was so looking forward to the new Corner Bakery opening practically around my corner, but was very disappointed. I ordered a pesto chicken sandwich to go for $ 8.95 and there was no pesto that I could find and sandwich was very dry. I’m headed back to Alon’s! I must say though, the staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

Great breakfast and fantastic salads. Definitely try the Anaheim scramble. I think they use 4 eggs because it’s a ton of food. Desserts are great too.

Glad to finally get a neighborhood café where I can walk to. This place looks small from the outside but very large and spacious. The staff are super friendly. Went on a snow day to just relax and read. Spent 4 hours without being disturbed once. Food was a little rich for my taste but could be a bad choice on my part. Surely will be trying out again.

I had a co worker recommend the Twisted Lemon Pie. Went to this location that sits in the parking lot in front of my building. Bravo! !! I can’t explain how good this pie was to me. Fresh out the oven hot. Sweet and tart. Amazing. Super friendly staff. Love that I can throw a stone at this store. It is just that close.

I stopped by this morning for a quick bite to eat and to check out the new bakery in Dunwoody. Everything on the menu looked fresh and delicious. I decided to get the spinach and avocado power flat, and it was tasty. The staff was also really friendly and helpful. Pleasant people. I did not try the coffee yet but I will be back soon !

For a chain restaurant the food is very good, the staff is very welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere is great. This place is a hidden gem for breakfast. Although the coffee is no contest to Starbucks, I will choose the breakfast food over Denny’s, IHOP, and Waffle House any day of the week. Prices are very good and the portions are plentiful. Nice addition to the neighborhood.

Gotta love this new place. I’m so glad they finally opened, the food is good and they got a nice selection of pastries. The staff is very friendly and just makes you want to keep coming back. The spot is brand new, got a fresh feel to it and it’s very chill. The atmosphere is nice and you can enjoy your food in peace.

Amazing Staff! If you want exceptional service, visit this Corner Bakery! I’ll be here every morning and don’t mind waving goodbye to Starbucks and their staff as I roll to this new location!

My wife & I had breakfast @ 3:30pm and it was wonderful! Everything tasted good, and the proportions were large. A very warm & friendly staff. We most certainly will be back.

Nice little sandwich shop. Ordered online and food was ready when I arrived. Got the Cuban Panini and it was decent and reasonably priced. Interested to check out the breakfast and see how that is. Will def return.

meh… I got a small cup of macaroni and cheese and a small cup of chicken noodle, bowls were maybe a little bigger than my fist, I am a 5’3″ woman and it was $ 10. My husband got a sandwich/​soup combo and it was so small, like hobbit size. It was also $ 10 dollars. Really??? The taste was normal too, nothing spectacular. Didn’t really feel like I got a whole lot of value. I have never been into a corner bakery before so I was unimpressed.
