Awesome pizza, but they should stay open like an hour later. Been trying to get a pie for a week!

I’ve never been here before so I thought I’d try it out. I ordered the penne alla vodka and it was hands down the worst I’ve ever eaten. There was no cream in the sauce and the alcohol was definitely not cooked out so it tasted like sour tomato paste. I will not be coming back here and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Our office purchased lunch. We ordered a Ceasar salad with grilled chicken. You’d think a restaurant like this would put the chicken on the grill, then cut it up for the salad. What we got was a salad, with chicken that tasted like it was 4 days old, not to mention, each piece was rock hard from sitting in the fridge. Not very nice.

Great all around Italian deli. From the pizza to the sandwich selections to the hot plates, you can’t go wrong. Pricing is beyond fair, staff and service is as friendly as it gets, and the food speaks for itself.

Grilled chicken, broccoli rabe, and mozzarella on a hero is as good as it gets and properly priced. Haven’t tried the pizza yet but it looks decent.

Great pizza, New York style! If you are in Astoria, make your way to Sergios for some genuine Italian za! The service is great and it cheap! Cheap as in $ not as in quality

That’s a great Italian deli! They offer cold sandwiches, fresh salads and delicious pizza. But the best part is their hot food section. The food is tasty, always fresh, the portions are huge and the prices are cheap! Chicken parmigiana is by far my favorite dish. The friendly staff, the large selection of bottled drinks and the outdoor seating makes Sergio’s a perfect choice for lunch!

I usually eat at Sergio’s at least once a week because it is very close to the office. It is nearly impossible to park on days with alternate side of the street parking in effect so I usually head over to Porto Bello Restaurant in those cases. The food is always fresh and very good, the Pizza is very good but seems to have gotten smaller in recent years. There is always a large selection of entrees and any combination is available to order. I would have given Sergio’s four stars but whenever I order take out chicken cutlet parmigiana($ 5.50) the bread is always burnt, not browned, black. I now have to stand and watch whenever I order a hero to remind the person preparing it and placing it into the pizza oven to take it out. The seating is limited, the large screen television seems to be more for the person working the register than for the customers as the channels are either soccer games or Spanish television. The décor can stand to be updated but is okay for the daily lunch crowd of Correction Officers and day laborers. Sergio’s does have a very large selection of bottled drinks, even my favorite«Manhattan Special.»

Ordered takeout on seamless because of a 20% deal. I was skeptical but surprised by the food. Ordered a large pie with FRESH mushrooms and a chicken perm hero. Pizza was a little doughy more taste(I like Rizzo style) but the fresh topping made up for it. The chicken perm hero was decent. Everything came fast with no problems. I will order from this place again but might try different dishes based on the tips provided.

Cheap and delicious. The greek salad is tasty with way more chicken than I could ever eat in one sitting. The prices are good and the people that work there are friendly. The outdoor seating is great also.

I’m in here almost once a week for takeout. It’s less than 5 minutes from my apartment. Great Italian deli. They make a huge meatball parm hero. I know what you are thinking, what kind’ve paesano are you? Don’t you know you don’t order meatballs out??? Well these are great. They are about the size of a softball and just like how my grandma used to make em. It reminds you of Satriale’s the Sopranos butcher shop because of all the Goombah’s hanging out outside. It’s a regular deli with cold sandwiches and salads. The real draw is their hot food. Anything from eggplant to linguine and seafood. Pizza is decent and I’m a big fan of their Caesar dressing. Very cheap and friendly staff. Always packed at lunch time.

Sergio’s is a great local spot for me to grab sausage and pepper hero or chicken parm hero. Great prices, pretty decent food… well except for the pie. Unless you grew up in this neighborhood, you could never think this pizza was anything authentic or delicious. After trying most of the pizza spots in the area, I now call the pizza in east elmhurst«greek pizza» because all the greek people in the neighborhood seem to love it(and recommend it) but I personally think it’s terrible. I’m not looking for a John’s Pizza all the way out here in queens, but a thin crisp crust and not-too-sweet sauce with less dry crappy herbs(and more fresh ones) is what I am looking for.

This is a very small family owned deli/pizza place. Very homey. You will frequently see the local old Italian men watching soccer while drinking Expresso and beer. The pizza is very, very good. Cooked just right with delicious sauce and cheese. They are generous with cold cuts on their sandwiches. The chicken parmigiana hero is great. I am a huge fan of the grilled chicken and broccoli. The other hot dishes, such as chicken Marsala, may be overly salty, though They serve a surprisingly good breakfast, with typical egg and cheese on a bagel, but will also make egg whites and turkey on wheat with no problem. The morning cashier is a doll. The coffee is always good. The cooler has a variety of sodas but alo carries canned protein shakes and they sell protein bars. This is the kind of corner deli that gets to know you and how you like your coffee. Just beware of the morning and lunch rush, since they serve a lot of Corrections Officers from Rikers, it can get quite busy.
