Costumer service was great, incredibly friendly, and the food was amazing(I suggest you try the Mussaman Coconut Curry). The outside patio is beautiful and perfect for a summer afternoon. All around great place. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Hands down the best Thai place in Astoria. I came here on a Friday night with a party of 2 while walking up and down Broadway in search of a restaurant that offers outdoor seating. What do ya know? Leng Thai does not only have an amicable ambiance but also has outdoor seating in the rear! Since it is a hot pre-summer day, most guests chose to sit outdoor. I mean, who wouldn’t want to? Not only was the back area free of any flies, insects, but music was also playing in the background to give off a date-night setting. Hint hint for all the fellas looking for a date night spot! :) There used to be complimentary starters once guests sat down but it looks like they’ve discontinued that — it isn’t available for order either. A bit disappointed as I really loved the crunchy snacks right before our appetizers and entrees. Nevertheless, our food was amazing! I wanted to try something new so for starters, so i got the Vietnamese Ravioli without really knowing what it is. When the order came, I was pleasantly surprised to see such a huge portion(enough for two). It’s basically a huge burrito with vegetables, jicama, bean sprout, and other healthy ingredients wrapped in rice paper. It’s also steamed so if you’re looking to enjoy yourself yet stay healthy, this is definitely the dish for you. Along with the starters, I also had the Salmon Yang and Som Tum. Absolutely no complaints about each dish as the Som Tum was spicy enough(i requested for it to be extra extra spicy) with plenty of vegetables and papaya while the Salmon Yang was done just right. No burnt, fishy smell but rather you have yourself a grilled filet salmon steak with panang curry. If you’re someone who likes curry and fish, I highly recommend this. One thing I didn’t like was the bit of a rush we had from the staff. The plates were taken away right as we finished and the check came before we were done eating. However, this is a spot I will be visiting the next time I’m in the area.

They cut their food with cheaper ingredients. I ordered Pad Thai with chicken, and received it with about half tofu. Not a tofu fan, so no longer a Leng Thai fan.

I eat here every now and then. The strange thing is that when I come here to sit down for lunch, I’m never happy with the food, but at night when I order in, it’s great. Maybe different cooks??? Either way, last time I had lunch here, I ordered the pad Thai. Service is always good and it is a nice atmosphere inside. But the noodles were undercooked and covered in way too much grease. Gross. I was not happy. I just ordered their spring rolls for takeaway. They changed, not the same delicious as before full of veggies, but some other kind, mostly dough and scant on the veggies. What’s going on Leng? So much potential but lately haven’t been good.

We’ve been here twice and if I could I’d rate 3.5. Most of the food is good. Service is ok. We’ve come for lunch twice. I was a fan of the duck buns. They have Thai iced coffee and tea.

I order delivery from here often. Never disappointed. However this is definitely fusion, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Their Kee Mao is very different and interesting, made with Cantonese noodles. Flavor is nice and the noodles give a classic Thai dish a whole new feel. I like it. Khao pad sappaord seems to be a favorite of everyone and I can see why. Chicken and veggie fried rice(brown rice) I always will have my vendetta against brown rice because it taste like cardboard. But this place does it right. Turned me into a brown rice believer. Mussaman curry is meh. Thai sausage, flavor is good but so small. Wouldn’t recommend ordering. Over priced for what you get. Otherwise all the portion sizes are big and delivery is fast. Never dined in here.

Some of the best Thai infusions out there… The reason why I say infusion, if they take a different path than the typical Thai restaurant in the area of Astoria. My fiancé, whom is not a fan of Thai food like I am, always can find something here that is not spicy. Takeout is delivered in a reasonable time fashion. Sometimes they mix the order up, so always double check.

Friendly staff and interesting dishes. Used to be my favorite take out Thai place until they started making the portions smaller. It used to enough for two people now only enough for one person — highly disappointed. The Cee Yew with beef is the best in the area and pad thai is good.

I thought the food had amazingly great flavors, but was oily. I’ve only eaten inside once(i usually get it to go). I genuinely can’t remember why — but I remember my friends & I did not have a great experience eating here. Personally, I really appreciate the spicyness and depth of flavors in the food. In terms of quality, I recommend this place. I was a bit torn about writing this review due to the multiple Unilocal entries regarding issues with wait staff. I hope this issue has been resolved, as the reviews sounded like a nightmare quite frankly. I didn’t want to leave a bad review based on hearsay, but if people continue to experience such horrific wait staff, they should definitely speak up. I pledge to eat here in person and report back to Unilocal! Power to the people!

I’ve always passed by Leng Thai. I haven’t actually eaten inside the restaurant but I do order delivery and today would be my second time. The Thai sausage is so delicious with so much flavour of the herbs and spices. The beef jerky with sticky rice is another staple that I grew up eating so it was very delicious to me. The Khao soy noodle curry soup hits the spot. Give it a try!

I heard the name of this restaurant for a long time and now I finally have a chance to try. I asked for recommendation and the waiter recommended the winter’s special«Pla Pad Ped Sizzle» fillet tilapia with spicy sauce. Once the dish was served, the whole table was so aromatic and I can sense that this dish going to be spicy. However, this dish is very well seasoned not too spicy, too sweet and too salty. I really love this dish and thank to the waiter who recommended this dish. Beside delicious food, I also love the atmosphere cozy and relax. Beyond expectation service, I’ll definitely come back again in summer for the backyard section.

Good food with very, I mean very generous size of dishes(I read here people complaining about the size, I just don’t get that…). Cool design and people who always mile. Me and my friend ate here and enjoyed good food surrounding by nice atmosphere. I don’t get the people on Unilocal who come to restaurant and get picky about the smallest details, like they are looking to find something bad. Not amazing, definitely not bad. 4 stars is just the rating for this place.

I had the green curry mixed seafood dish and it was flavorful, spicy and the sauce was perfectly rich. I decided I wanted a side rice dish and I went for it. The rice was perfection. I love this place because all things Thai are so good. The service is always great and the atmosphere relaxing.

Solid Thai food. HUGE portions. You seriously get three meals out of one meal. Good prices. Fast take-out. Better then Red Basil and Enthaice… plus the name Enthaice is stupid.

First timer and don’t regret. I would totally come back for more foodie. The food are delicious and not pricey at all. The environment is great! Service could be better. But overall is awesome! Love it. Try their pad thai! Mmm and the noodle soup!

A friend and I were hungry and decided to just walk into the first place we passed and this was it. When we walked in– its a very nice atmosphere! The ambiance was perfect. Well up front it is. For some reason the waiter was like, «Follow me.» And he walks us passed the entire first– totally empty– part and into the very back and sits us down by glass sliding doors that lead to a court yard. I was a little annoyed by that. I guess he put us back there because it was his section to serve but when the entire front of the place is completely empty– why did you take us all the way to the back dude? I also didn’t like this seat in particular because it was cold out and I could feel the air coming through the glass doors. But whatever. I try and base my reviews on the food mainly so on to the food part! So we ordered an appetizer to split and got the fried shrimp rolls which were phenomenal! I wish I woulda gotten my own instead lol Also a salad came with my lunch and I gotta say– I love peanut dressing! Salad was so simple but so good! My main plate was the«jap chae» which was Korean beef with vegetables, noodles and soy sauce and it was very good! The only thing I was disappointed with and its my fault for not asking, but the noodles in that were those clear slimey ones? And I wasn’t liking that texture in my mouth. Please refrain from jokes people! LoL So it kinda was a downer for me. I didn’t finish it– I ate as much as I could. Had the noodles been different– I would have loved it! Next time I know to find out which exact noodles are in the dish because I don’t know if it stated the type on the description. I just got excited when i saw«Korean beef» and jumped the gun. But the flavor of the dish was very good! I’d go back again but request to sit up front and figure out what noodles are in my dish haha Oh and one more thing– my friend and I had a few laughs with the music they were playing– it sounded like something out of a Humphrey Bogart movie haha

So where do I start. Went here today and had the Thai salad and pomegranate drink plus a pad Thai. The décor is amazing but as soon as I sat down I read reviews about the waiter in the plaid shorts with a bad attitude. Lo and behold, guess what waiter I got. This man is so rude and money hungry, as soon as I paid j went to the bathroom, That’s when I heard these heavy footsteps running towards the table j came from so j slightly opened the door to see what the fuss was about. The same hungry waiter ran to my table to look at what I just paid. That’s the hungriest I’ve ever seen a waiter, literally running after tips. So the food wasn’t enough for me to go back to that. He made me feel bad

I usually order the Pad Thai and the Khao Pad Sapparod. Today, they were a little too happy with the sauce and the noodles were over cooked. Decent amount of chicken but little sprinkles of crushed peanuts. We ordered 4 Pad Thai and one of them had a strong fish taste and lacked bean sprouts. We mixed it around, however the taste was the same. We brought it to the waiter’s attention but he didn’t offer to have it exchanged nor have us order something different. He gave us a blank stare, nodded and walked away. The crunchy sticky rice flakes«Rice Krispies”-like they offer as a complimentary starter is addictive but wasn’t available today. The Thai Iced Tea was strong and very sweet. You can ask for more milk to blend. The Grilled Calamari including dipping sauce and chicken Thai Satay with peanut sauce was very good.

I would give this place anywhere between 3.5−4 stars. Our waiter was very efficient, and listened closely to what we may have needed. We checked into Facebook to get free edamame, yay! I got the Kanom Jean Gang Keow with tofu instead of chicken, extra extra extra spicy. And they definitely turned up the heat! For those who have never had green curry, is very coconutty and slightly sweet. There were plenty of vegetables. I wish the noodles were slightly thicker because I felt like the thin noodles sucked up too much of the sauce. Salt on the edamame could have been tossed instead of just doused on the top ones. All in all, the food was good and in big portions, but was not fantastic.

Just based on delivery experience: –delivers within time frame –food is really good– probably the best thai delivery in the area, and I’ve tried most of them. –green curry was really good, and they give you a lot. I was able to have for 2 meals –when they can they use biodegradable containers(similar to whole foods) and I really appreciate this effort on their part
