Run and made by a Czech guy, the gelato is a bit on the watery/​icy side and not so much on the creamy, milky side. With that being said, it’s pretty well balanced between keeping it light and the flavors delicate. I appreciate that it’s not super sweet and thick. When I went there were only 6 or so flavors (pistachio, coconut, strawberry, chocolate, tiramisu, stracciatella). Prices are fair ($ 3 for one scoop, $ 5 for two), and each scoop is the approximate size of a handball.

Really delicious gelato! The flavors are so good and not overpowering at all. The consistency is perfect, very creamy and rich. You can’t beat the prices either!

I passed by this place for three months before finally venturing inside. Their baked goods always looked good but I just never really found the courage to go in until today (they had a $ 2 ice cream special that I just couldn’t resist). The owner is there day in and day out so I really wanted to show my support; turns out he’s incredibly kind as well. I ended up also getting a baked apple pastry that has great flavor. I have to say that though it is sparsely designed, I really think the place has a great menu– I hope to come back soon! (Also I noticed that there are a couple other reviews this month… I hope it means business is increasing!)

I almost never see anyone in here, but I guess they’ve been open a very short time and mainly during the colder months. Now that it’s starting to get warmer, I think it’ll probably pick up. Anyway I stopped in randomly today on my way back from errands. I had a $ 2 cone that was pretty good, and the man at the counter was really nice. Too soon to give a full review but I’d try it again.

The ice cream is incredibly fresh and really good! Great new place on Broadway! Also this is an independently owned place by a very nice older man. It is good to support such a great place with fresh baked goods and freshly made ice cream.
