Breakfast buffet is awesome. I would have appreciated more non-meat options on the buffet but the omelette station made up for that. If you’re looking for a high-end breakfast buffet for yourself or you and your +1, this is really nice. Be prepared to spend about $ 25+ each.

By far one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. It was made even more special by the staff and the gorgeous view. We went on Friday for the seafood buffet for our 9 year wedding anniversary. With all buffets, I find quality suffers with quantity… BUTNOTATTHEBLUERIDGE! I even told our amazing server, Stan, that it’s not right for everything to taste SO good. The meat and cheese appetizers were just delicious, the fish was some of that best I’ve ever had, crab legs were so fresh and to die for. Don’t even get me started about the desserts. They were fantastic. Our server, Stan, exceeded our expectations and took our experience to a whole new level of special. He even had a plate With Happy Anniversary and special macaroons delivered. Gorgeous views, delicious views, fantastic server. We Will most certainly return here.

Best dining experience here at the resort in the past few days. There are two options, continental or full buffet. Excellent omelette station. I suggest starting there first because there can be a short wait and if you load up with food first, it could get cold waiting on the omelette. Lot of variety and quality offerings. There is Gluten Free options and juice bar. Service was great and view is awesome. We watched Turkeys putting on a show right below us.

Highly recommend the breakfast buffet! Plenty of options and a nice view of the mountains along the windows to go with it. If you’re staying at the Grove Park, this is a great stop for breakfast.

Complimentary mimosas, unbelievable selection, delicious food and great view. Would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a brunch spot, especially considering what you get for the price.

Just OK. Not the quality I expected for a Holiday dinner at this famous place. Breads taste like out of a factory with No taste. No cornbread. Great shrimp. Oysters were c-. Fresh carved turkey and ham were tasty and prepared well. More attention could have been given to the cleaning of the serving ware. Now the hotel and all the shops, great!

The atmosphere was absolutely amazing! We did not have to wait for a table. Our waiter, Juan was a delight, really attentive, when I would leave the table he would make sure my chair was pulled out so that I may sit back down! The buffet offers great variety of breakfast lunch and dessert options!

An amazing prime rib buffet on Saturday night! My husband and I had such a wonderful dining experience thanks to Laura! She was so fun & engaging! And the food was absolutely delicious. Come hungry & willing to try an array of items found throughout three rooms!

If you are going to have one meal here, get the Sunday brunch. Don’t even get me started on how good the food is. Anything from fried chicken to peel and eat shrimp to Mac and cheese(see pictures). We went to the seafood night, breakfast, and brunch the last time we went. In the future, we would go to just the brunch due to the scale and similarity of the food. 5 stars for the brunch!!!

This is NOT your traditional buffet. The food was excellent we went for Friday night seafood. The the am was seafood however there was also steak and chicken options. There were also many vegetarian choices. The service was great our waiter was very attentive and the dessert room(yes a room filed with dessert) had something for everyone.

This is one of the places my hubby and I love to go to when we want to splurge a little. Love going on Friday when they have the seafood buffet, nothing like beach eating with a mountain view… all you can eat crablegs, yum. I also love the braised greens which are usually a side, so delish. They also have she crab soup on occasion. Hungry yet?

Great idea. Poor execution. Mediocre seafood. The cold seafood is ok but the oysters are poorly shucked so expect lots of tooth crunching shells, dirt and grit. Don’t forget to ask for crab she’ll crackers. They are not provided but available on request. I learned that AFTER I had to use my hands and teeth. The hot bar is not even worth trying. Everything I tried was either bland or over cooked. The grilled tuna was inedible. The coconut whitefish was terribly dry. The bison was flavorless. The only thing that exceeded my expectations was the dessert room. If I were ever going to return(which I doubt) I would eat only the cold seafood and the dessert.

Sadly, they ruined the seafood buffet. I asked what happened to the executive chef who was Sicilian… and was told he resigned and is in Florida. The rtuna and Salmon was none dry and over cooked even though I arrived minutes after opening. Only hAlf of the usual offerings were here. The only cooked green was collard greens and they wer terrible… bland lacking in seasoning. Collard greens are$ 5 a 5lb head and considered cheap poor man’s veggie but can be tasty if cooked properly. This used to be my favorite seafood buffet in North Carolina. But I’d it remains like this it is no better than a local Chinese buffet which are numerous in my turn.

This was such a positively decadent brunch! The blueberry sausage, maple bacon, and eggs Benedict were particularly outstanding. The seafood was also great. In the interest of saving room for the most delicious parts, I’d skip the boiled peanuts, desserts, and potatoes, which were all ok. I was annoyed by the mimosas charge. You receive a free mimosa on your way in, which was a lovely touch. You’re paying a flat fee for brunch and the mimosas are just in the dessert room with the other included items… so imagine my surprise when our bill came with charges for our second mimosas. No signage or anything? Deliberately deceitful. Alas, my lovely experienced was soured on the way out. We were very disappointed to pay $ 150 for brunch for three and then get then get hit with a $ 10 parking fee. Wtf? Why don’t they validate? And I was especially irritated by Roger’s attitude as we tried to ask him if they validated. I wouldn’t expect someone at such a lovely resort to keep cutting me off as I tried to speak. I’d probably return with a guest so they could experience it, but I don’t know that I’d pay for it again with someone who has already done it.

It is always a special treat to visit The Grove Park Inn. I like to take my friends who are visiting with me in Asheville to brunch at The Blue Ridge Dining Room. On this occasion, we were granted a table overlooking the golf course. What a view! Although the greens were a distance down from where we were perched, we could make out 3 wild turkeys cavorting on the course. All the staff are very friendly here. We were immediately offered a glass of complimentary champagne after being seated. The buffet itself was extensive, featuring an omelet station, salad bar and a smörgåsbord of meats and sides. As a vegetarian, I found more than enough dishes to fill my plate. My friend also took advantage of the dessert bar. The key lime pie was her favorite. Sunday brunch at The Grove Park Inn. A special way to end a wonderful weekend.

Drop everything and come here for breakfast AND dinner. The view is amazeballs and the good is even better. The wait staff is super friendly as well. On top of all that, it is super affordable.

My family came here for a special holiday dinner. Unfortunately, both the food and the presentation really weren’t of the quality I expected, considering the lofty price. The desserts were particularly disappointing because there was a huge dessert buffet, which all looked better than they tasted. As a side note, very few things for a vegetarian here. I asked the server which buffet dishes were vegetarian to which he replied, «Uhhh…squash.» He was right.

Convenient only because we’re hotel guests… I recommend the potato casserole and the waffles, both are a welcomed break from the mundane breakfast buffet fair.

$ 57 for an inedible breakfast buffet. I would not have breakfast here again on a dare. They want $ 22 each for the buffet, then they add a gratuity. Repeat: for a buffet where I fetch and carry my own food. Every item I took from a chafing dish was disgustingly cold. The servers didn’t seem to care. Even the oatmeal was cold! The view was nice, but I was longing for the microwave in my room. Gross.
