Dollar Tree

It’s better to stick to the Sterling location. Three times now, I’ve gone to this location for party supplies and helium balloons and they were out of helium. When I inquired why they keep running out, I was told that they only have one helium tank and when it runs out, they wait until whatever specific day of the week to have it exchanged. It seems like poor management to only keep one tank on hand. The young employees seem friendly, though the manager is a terrible grump with a constant frown on his face.

I’ve been to a lot of Dollar Tree’s in my life time. This has got to be the saddest and smallest Dollar Tree without a whole lot of items to choose from. Not going back, I’ll go to the one in Sterling instead.
BTW, if you can’t find the store, it’s off in a corner AROUND the strip mall. At first I couldn’t find the store and thought it had been closed.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU BUY HERE!!! Terrible customer service. There are seemingly nice deals here but much of what they sell is cheap junk, suitable only for the landfill. That might be worth the risk, except it turns out YOU CANNOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK when you get home and discover your mistake.
For a couple of hours, I was a happy new customer, having discovered this new store and found some nice looking things including a set of coasters that my daughter had wanted. They were pretty, and individually shrink wrapped in tight plastic. They looked well made. I got home, gave them to my daughter, and she was very happy until she opened one and once out of the plastic two corners and one side just turned into sand. She was shocked and sad, and I said don’t worry, just open another one — the same thing happened. I thought, no problem, I’ll just take them back for a refund and we’ll by you some quality coasters at a «real» store.
I had to drive all the way back 15 minutes to the store, and upon asking for my return and refund was told «sorry, store policy, you can only get credit». After an animated exchange (by me), he refused to make it right, but agreed to put me on the phone with the store manager. The manager told me the same thing. Tough luck, you buy it, you either keep the junk or exchange it for something else you don’t need, which I finally did. Upon getting in a different line to do this, the cashier at first refused to let me return the coasters because they were damaged. Seriously! Sensing the imminent explosion in me, he went forward and let me get $ 5 worth of items I didn’t want.
NEVER AGAIN!!! BUYER BEWARE! From now on, I’ll just happily give my business to Five Below – most things cost more than a dollar there, but they aren’t junk, and they have excellent customer service and a return policy.

It’s the Dollar Tree, what do you expect! Has typical odds and ends that you may or may not need… all priced at a buck! The staff here is awesome, always willing and able to help. The entire staff have a great attitude and are always in a good mood!

Very large and everything is a Dollar! How could I not give them five stars? Don’t expect to find any diamond rings here but some of their items I have seen in other stores for well over two dollars.

Very nice, clean large dollar tree with a huge selection! They even have a frozen food section. The dollar tree has been getting a ton of name brand items lately and I love it. They are by far cheaper than walmart, cvs, target and has been my go-​to for household goods for a while now. This store is not as crowded as the other northern va stores and since it’s brand new, it’s not tore up as other stores. I hope they can keep this one in good shape for a while.
