This was the second visit for my wife and I and we were not disappointed. One of the newer restaurants to join the scene in Asbury Park, Isabella’s seems to have a good following — always crowded. We were lucky to walk in for a table of four.(we originally tried TAKA but the wait was 2 hours — next time) Appetizers consisted of some crispy fried calamari with a mild sauce, shared by three of us and lobster bisque which was reportedly creamy and very good. Entrees consisted of Chicken Philadelphia, Angel Hair pasta with sauce, Rigatoni with a sausage meat sauce(which practically disappeared from Mike’s plate) and Pasta Piselli. All entrees were freshly prepared and piping hot when delivered to the table. Waitstaff is very attentive and it is BYOB — always a good thing to save a little money. The only negative is the fact that the dining room is a little crowded and can get quite noisy. They should consider putting in some kind of noise dampening panels. All-in-all, a good dining experience — we will be back.
