I went for a check-up and recieved glasses that were scratched, my husbands broke after three weeks. I went back in for contacts and they were patient, but didn’t listen to the fact that my eyes are extremly dry. The trails they gave me hurt my eyes, and when I called to see if they would change the trail I was informed that I must come back in and pay for another fitting before they would consider doing a change. Only looking to charge my insurance and me a second and third time. I will not be going back. The dr.‘s are nice, but the office staff is terrible.

Wonderful customer service with a variety of glasses, Katrina, the person that was helping me, was very knowledgeable and patient. she was also very friendly in waiting and assisting me with the frames. Dr. Phan was very helpful in finding better contacts than i had before since the doc i went to before missed that i had astigmatism. i highly recommend this place!

I had my eyes examined here for the past two years. I was really disappointed this year with the service. I always tell the doctors up front that I have a flat cornea and have to have contacts that fit me properly. Dr. Twamley blasted the Accuvue 2 contacts that I had been wearing. He said they were very bad for the eyes, let in very little oxygen and had most likely destroyed a lot of my cells in my eyes. I told him I was open to trying another brand but they had to be ones that fit my flat cornea. He and his associate, Dr. Phan, took me through three different types/brands of contacts — none of which fit. I could not see and my vision kept going in and out of focus. Dr. Phan told me it was because I had been wearing the Accuvue 2 contacts and they had been squeezing my eyes. She compared it to wearing shoes that were too tight and then having your feet swell once you take them off. She also said that I needed to give my eyes a couple of weeks to adjust back to normal. I accepted this at first but two weeks later when my eyes still were not focusing properly I did my own research. My old, perfectly comfortable Accuvue 2 contacts were a base curve of 8.7. They were giving me contacts with a base curve of 8.3&8.4. I saw on the internet that these contacts were available in a base curve closer to the 8.7 that I had been wearing. I went back and told this to Dr. Twamley and said that I figured that this could be the cause of my eyes not being able to stay focused. He said that made sense, said that he remembered me telling him about my flat corneas, checked my eyes in the poorly fitting contacts, agreed with me and prescribed the ones that I suggested. I have not had any problems since. Needless to say, I will not be going back there. Oh, and I have yet to find any info to back up their claims that Accuvue 2 contacts are bad like they said.

I have gone to Dr. Twamley for three years, I would recommend him to anyone looking for comprehensive eye services in a convenient location.
