We made the mistake of dining in early one Friday evening. The dining area had 2 wait staffers and 5 occupied tables, none of them big parties. I had a visual of the take out counter that was busy. The service was so slow it was barely crawling. The clam chowder blah, the fried calamari obviously was suffering from freezer burn before those dried up little rings were dumped into the deep fryer. We opted to take our entrees to go for fear that we would end up dying in that booth if we sat there any longer. My lasagna was obviously NOT made in house. Save yourself time and money and do supermarket take out next time you don’t want to cook at home.

My family and I have been eating here for years, and have never had a bad meal. The only unfortunate part is that the restaurant is so far away from our home in Ashburn that we don’t eat it as often as I’d like. I like the Greek pizza, which is essentially a gyro in pizza form. Delicious! The gyro sandwich is also good, but I’m afraid that’s all I can comment on, since it’s the only thing I get. I will always go here if I am in the area.

I just had an awful experience here. Our server was very friendly, the cook/owner was not. Our server had entered in the wrong pizza in which was alright, mistakes happen. We immediately told her as soon she dropped the pizza that it was not the right one, she did offer to take it back and have them remake it, however we were in a rush. We ate half of the pizza, she offered us a box and a check. We were fully charged for the pizza. We then asked if we could speak to a manager. We are in the industry ourselves, when mistakes like that happen, you comp the food. You take care of business when you want business to return. I was so displeased, this cook comes out extremely rude yelling at us «what do you want?! 50%?! You ate the pizza!!» Finally after him arguing with us for over 10 min he comped the pizza, took the leftovers away from us and told us to never come back. Not once were we entitled, rude, or demanding, we simply explained our situation to him in hopes that he would agree that we did not deserve to pay full price for an incorrect order. I was so insulted by the way we were treated here i will absolutely never return and I will make sure others know what to expect out of this place!

They are a mom & pop restaurant that has been here for decades. Wide variety of food choices! Very good food and the service is expected for a mom and pop restaurant. We have done take-out, eat-in and delivery. Again – depends on the day and who is working on the service. The people are friendly. The older lady that works there is interesting. She doesn’t smile and probably has been working there for several decades. However, she is a pretty good server. The pizza when delivered can be undercooked so we decided not to get that delivered anymore. However, when we have it at the restaurant, it is always good. Nothing fancy inside but it is always clean.

The older lady that greeted me was a very friendly person. The reason for my 1 star is because of how dirty this place was. Also because my white pizza was flooded with garlic that i couldnt taste anything else. Awful. I will not be coming back to this restaurant.

We have been eating here for years. It’s a nice, family run business serving comfort food at reasonable prices. No drama, no attitude. Family friendly. Honestly, how many places come to mind where you can go with friends, or your kids, or your parents visiting and there’s one place you can go and all will be satisfied. Feel like delivery? Ok. Feel like sitting down at a table? Ok. The staff have always been polite and courteous. The food is good and there’s something for everyone. Support this small business. They are a dieing breed in Arlington.

I tried to place an order by looking at the prices they put on Unilocal/GrubHub and this«Gentleman» literally yelled at me on the phone for me bringing this to his attention. I said, multiple times, «I don’t care that the prices are wrong, but you should probably correct them on Unilocal/GrubHub». The person manning the phone is obviously a crazy person. The way he spoke to me is no way to speak to a customer who is verifying prices. I casted no blame, I just made statements about their menu listings. I understand that businesses change their prices at any time, and I think if a customer points out a discrepancy, they should get angry at them. I, at no point, tried to get him to honor the prices. I asked if he was the manager and if I could speak to someone who’s more calm and he replied, «That’s none of your business, are you going to place an order or not!!!». I was literally floored. Floored. I am honestly disgusted that anyone would yell at me so viscerally without even giving me a word edgewise. I was a server for 5+ years and I understand that people have off days and are not always kind and happy to help. But this wasn’t merely a moody employee/owner/manager; this was an enraged, and possibly deranged individual. I would advise anyone that likes human decency, common courtesy and great customer service to steer clear of this place. Pupatella is right across the street and they have AMAZING food and the servers and manager are very kind and very welcoming.

Great comfort food, especially the chicken souvlaki and Philly cheese steak. The Greek salad is very nice. George and his wife and son and staff are congenial and enjoy providing tasty dishes to their customers.

Haha pretty ridiculous. Got the monster. Which was 25 minutes late. I understand football was on which I was watching so it was a little busy but good lord. This was just unreal. The sandwich the monster was a waste of my 10 dollars. I ate 3 bites and each bite has a rough nine or fatty part. I had to throw it away. Also got calamari. That was our mistake from the start ordering that from a Greek place. My friend got the gyro. First thing he said when he opened it. It’s just steak and pitas and a little tzaki or however u spell it. First time and last time. When I have to throw away my whole meal and waste money I know this is not a place I’ll be ordering from again. Thanks for ruining my night and making me go out and pick up food from somewhere else

Our neighbors(original Arlington residents) hooked us up to this place. First time we went for dinner and I had the gyro salad. Yum. Second time for lunch had the gyro. Yummmm. Daughter had one of the pizzas and the crust was some of the best I have ever had. Husband had some ridiculous hamburger with an egg on it and he said it was very tasty. It is nice to eat at a mom and pop restaurant and now that we have discovered it we will eat there regularly.

Went for brunch, had the Gyro omlet. Service was friendly. I had the gyro omlet. It was okay, far from the best, but I enjoyed it. Too much feta for my liking, but if you really, really love feta, it will be perfect for you.

Love this place. With all the sub/sandwich places popping up in Arlington this place still serves up my favorite Steak and Cheese. The Gyros are great as well.

I love two chefs! I’ve been going here since I was a kid and I still love it, even though my tastes have changed dramatically from the kids menu grilled cheese. It’s awesome to see the same faces most days and enjoy the quality food(at a great price!)

I’m not enthused with any of the take-out pizza joints in Arlington. So, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try a new take-out pizza joint. Unfortunately, Two Chefs is not much better than everything else around. The sauce is good, and at least it’s a soft crust, but our pizza was undercooked and fairly standard for the area. Please, someone, please, build a New York pizza joint! This is essential the happiness of thousands in the Arlington area.

It’s all about the love for their customers for many happy years. Say«Hello» to Mom and Pop owners, Demetrius & George, and their son, who have been proudly serving consistently tasty and reasonably priced comfort meals in their spotless modest restaurant. If you want fancy food or varnished charm, go elsewhere. Their pizza always has that perfect crust with 15 types of specialties to choose from. Sandwiches and entrée servings are plentiful and delicious. Their chicken noodle and«Yaya» soup, or suite of appetizers and main courses, are classic Greek/Italian treats.

So I’ve been coming here for about 20 years more or less. Its a place that county teachers, firefighters, police go and older Arlingtonian’s. THere is parking in front and in back. Chicken slovaki is great, nicely grilled, with pita, lettuse, tomatoe. My son and husband usually get the pizza, pretty yummy or a burger. I use to get the meatball sub for years, it is HUGE with melted cheese. Yum. My husband also likes the gyro. This is a family run place, you are not going for décor. It it a very relaxed, affordable place to get some filling food. Not busy, same people always working, great family place. Love that there are still places like this in Arlington. Great place to take kids too.

Had the Gyro Sandwich. It was good but nothing special. It was a large portion and was stuffed with lamb meat.

We’ve only had takeout(pizza, gyros) from this place and the food is pretty good. Today we decided to try breakfast after church. The restaurant itself smells a little«stale» and could use a touch up and a good cleaning. But we expected that. My husband ordered the Tasos eggs(with gyro meat and hollandaise sauce). The dish was very tasty, if a little short on meat. The accompanying home fries, however, were barely warm. They might taste good if they were served hot. I had grits, toast and sausage. The grits were delicious — so creamy and just the right amount of seasoning. So why the two stars? 1. Slow service(took a long time to serve food) 2. cold potatoes and 3. filthy bathroom. I used the ladies room before leaving. The facility was filthy with mold growing everywhere. The smell ruined my breakfast. Never again. Two Chef’s is celebrating 30 years — perhaps its time to celebrate with a renovation or at least a head to toe cleaning and painting.

Having read other reviews, I was hesitant to order pizza from Two Chefs. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the diligence and deilvery service. I called on an NFL Sunday evening and expected there to be long lines and waiting times. However, I was greeted over the phone by a friendly voice, ready to take my order. My husband and I ordered a large pizza with jalapenos, mushrooms, and sausage. We received our order within the 45 minute slated delivery slot, if not sooner. The pizza was warm and fresh. I appreciated that Two Chefs loads their pizzas up with your selected toppings, but was underwhelmed to find that they were using canned jalapenos instead of fresh ones. While this is not a deal-breaker, and I will likely order again, I believe if you’re paying a premium for your pie, then you should get fresh ingredients. Will try another pizza next time for sure.
