Brought home a Buffalo Bill and a John Wayne. I had the John Wayne with Caesar salad instead of potato sticks and it was excellent. Bother the sandwich and salad were delicious. My sister said the same about the Buffalo Bill. This place makes great to grab lunch and I read they have catering portions. Overall, great experience a great value. Will return.

Located really close to UTA, this is another local option to try around the area. Arlington doesn’t have that many local restaurants compared to the surrounding cities so finding a local place can be challenging. My friend and I came here during lunch time which was somewhat busy still(we came a bit after 1PM). The service was so friendly, and the place felt very down-to-earth. I had one of their salads while my friend had the Alamo sandwich. Both meals were pretty big so we were stuffed afterwards. The sandwich had a lot of meat with a lot of those skinny fries chips to munch on at the same time. I had one of their other sandwiches a very long time ago and I remembered being content at the end of the meal. Cute little place! Come check out this place.

Always a great choice for lunch. I have been going for years and it has always been enjoyable. Nothing fancy, just excellent sandwiches and great staff. Love the blueberry ice tea. Another fav is the potato sticks served with the sandwiches. Just like mom used to put in my lunch box. And top it off with a sweet bonus, a yummy cookie with each sandwich! Seriously, it is my happy place.

This place is so great. We walked in and felt like home with the friendliness from the staff. The sandwich pictures don’t do the taste justice! I loved it here and will be a returning customer. I just wish they had hours open in the evening too!

«Can I share with you my worldview? All of humankind has one thing in common: the sandwich. I believe that all anyone really wants in this life is to sit in peace and eat a sandwich.»(Liz Lemon, 30 Rock) I really enjoy a good sandwich, and Tin Cup is good, it’s like the nice neighborhood sandwich shop of Arlington. The staff is friendly, the place is simple and clean inside, and the sandwiches are good and well-priced. They’re open in the morning and they close around 4pm, so get here on your lunch break. Tried the JOHNWAYNE and HIGHNOON~ both solid sandwiches. The High Noon especially has a kick since it has jalapenos and chipotle mayo in it. The John Wayne is a nice combo of ham, turkey, pastrami, and cheddar. All of the sandwiches come with fries(rather, potato sticks, since they’re really skinny) and a cookie. Overall, nice people who make nice sandwiches. Tin Cup is solid.

Used to come by all the time! Very tasty. I am female & I would bring my mom here but probably not enough food for my husband.(Unless the menu has changed)

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on the way to a wedding. We found this place on Unilocal and the reviews persuaded us to give it a try. From the outside we were a bit put off however once we opened the doors and saw the line, we knew it must be good. For a small mom and pop sandwich shop, it was truly delicious and perfect! The only thing I would change us they offer really greasy potato chips as a side and I would prefer a healthier option.

When in Arlington i always find it hard to find something to eat besides the typical fast food. I am glad i found this place on Unilocal. The Panini i had hit the spot after i left the brewery(Division Brewery). They served it with little potato sticks.

Every time I go I am craving it the next day! The sandwiches are so good! You can tell that the owners spent a lot of time creating each sandwich and they are made hot and fresh. I have talked with some of the employees before and they are so sweet and seem to love their job. All around the atmosphere and food makes this place 5⁄5 stars. If you don’t like tin cup you must be crazy ;)

Unique, delicious sandwiches and friendly people. The grilled cheese was perfect for my 5 year old and he was surprised that it came with the little cookies! Anything to make the kid happy, ya know. I had the«buffalo bill» — turkey, mozzarella, avocado, tomato, chives and chipotle mayo panini, and subbed the potato sticks for a side salad. The panini bread was herbed(really yummy). My mom got the sweet clementine– turkey, cream cheese, walnuts, apples and caramel sauce on rye bread. It was a little too sweet with the caramel sauce but very interesting. My dad got the Reuben and liked it. He was more excited about the potato sticks, said they reminded him of childhood, haha. This is a tiny little place but cozy atmosphere and friendly people. I’ll definitely come back.

Quaint little place with the best sandwiches in town. You can’t beat the service or the food. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, they take great pride in the food they provide. It’s definitely a great casual dining experience! If it’s your first time, you can’t go wrong with the John Wayne, and the soup of the day. If you’re someone that wants to try something sweet and different go with the Caramel Gang or Sweet Clementine, you will certainly not be disappointed! If you really want to cross the line into food coma territory, then you’ll want to enjoy their delicious«Nana pudding»…I wasn’t a believer in banana pudding, or pudding in general… but I’ve seen the light and converted now… it’s amazing! P.S. I’m not a tea drinker, but my wife is certainly a big fan of their many teas, particularly the blueberry tea… that is all.

Found this place on Unilocal while doing OSHA classes for work at UTA. I am a sandwich fanatic and love this place. Friendly staff, good prices, amazing food, clean environment. Will come again when I’m back in the area.

I really liked the High Noon panini. I wasn’t too impressed with the tiny cookie or the«potato strings.» I think I would prefer regular chips as a side, instead of the«potato strings.» But, the sandwich(panini) was good. I would go back for that. From the outside, the place looks like an old 7 – 11 or other convenience store. Inside, it’s pretty nice(or at least nicer than the outside would lead one to believe). I’m not sure how serious they were about it, but I did notice a «no guns!!!» sign. Just an FYI…

I saw this place on Unilocal and decided to go for lunch because it’s close to my workplace. Best decision I’ve made!!! Their Alamo Panini is delicious! Best panini I’ve ever had. I love their strawberry sweet tea. Everyone in there was really friendly and their décor is adorable :) #proudtobeaTexan

Found this place on Unilocal after watching a game at Cowboy stadium. All the good reviews were spot on. Great friendly service! I had the John Wayne panini and the banana pudding. Both were amazing! I can’t remember which sandwich my girlfriend had but I tried it and equally amazing! Highly recommend this if you get a chance to stop by!!!

Quaint little place on the back roads of UTA, always saw it but never cared to go inside until a short lunch break one day. Very friendly and cheerful staff! Only con is that the hours are a bit odd sometimes so I would double check before going. Great paninis and the fries/chips is different and nice!

Who doesn’t love Texas pride displayed with every item on the menu? Being a Texan, I had to order The Texan, and decided to go with the ½ sandwich + salad option and got the Spring Creek. Honestly, I was too lazy to read each option and chose both without reading their description. The cashier, who gave off a «I own this place» vibe, was very friendly and greeted everyone entering and leaving the place. The salad was very pretty, but it had sundries tomatoes *gasp*. Usually those kind of tomatoes are leathery and gross, but I actually rather enjoyed them on the salad and their presence along with fresh tomatoes was interesting and somehow managed not to be overkill. Overall the salad toppings were a perfect assortment of sweet, cheesy, crunchy, and savory. The Texan was absolutely delicious. If I had to describe a deli meat as «texan», it would probably be some dark meat, but I don’t really like roast beef and such, and the chicken was lovely on the sandwich. Also, I’ve never had chives on anything except for a baked potato, but it was a clever condiment that worked very well flavor-wise and its green crunch reminded me of the sprawling Texas prairies. So, I also am not really a fan of mozzarella on sandwiches because it usually just adds a gummy texture and no flavor. Surprisingly it was lovely and subtle enough not to overpower the chives and chipotle mayo. Altogether the two items I ordered contained ingredients that I do not like(my fault for not reading the menu) but I loved both. I am very proud to be a Texan — especially after eating that sandwich.
