Funky little place near the metro stop in crystal city, my son wanted to grab a quick bite to eat and everywhere else was packed, I see why, oh well he got a egg and cheese pita and a drink and he ate it nothing real good to say.

Best hummus hands down but I wish they would drain their lettuce. Soggy salads are the worst!

Falafel hummus veggie sandwich is 5 stars. Falafel sandwich is 4 stars. Baklava is 3 stars. Not quite perfect, but pretty close. All in all, a great place to have lunch in the vaunted crystal city underground.

Well… I wasn’t super impressed with the kid in there. It seemed like a one man operation and nothing special about the food. Nothing significant in the spice. With it being a pita… I actually expected more pita style food. It’s ok…

The name of this place is Perfect! While small and crowded, the pitas are oven fresh, and the sandwiches are filled with delicious and fresh. I enjoyed a club pita that was brimming with bacon and chicken. My wife enjoyed her tuna pita and chips.

This is one of the better options for lunch in the Crystal City underground. I’ve tried several of their sandwich/salad offerings. My favorite continues to be the hummus falafel sandwich – I prefer that over the basic falafel, which without the hummus can be slightly dry(same goes for the gyro). There are several salad/sampler platter options that are also good, in particular the Mediterranean Mix, which contains two types of hummus, grape leaves, white bean salad and a tomato-feta salad. All of the sandwiches/platters have left me full, so you can’t beat that for the affordable $ 7 price tag.

The tuna on wheat pita bread used to taste great! I had stopped going for a long time when I noticed female was not wearing plastic gloves. I forgot to ask for wheat and the new Spanish lady drowned the sandwich in what taste like Thousand Island dressing!!! All I wanted was tuna, mayo and the extras. FOLLOWUP: The manager was nice enough to email me back after sending complaint to store. I was given another sandwich on wheat bread and was even offered a drink, which I did not take because I don’t take advantage of people! And, she did apologize twice. Much thanks to Ms. Dodd!!!

They have a choice of wheat or plain pita. Everything looked hand-made. Hummus, and other greek creations. I got the meat gyro. I wish my wheat pita was a little thicker but i also enjoyed the crunch to is, but other than that I enjoyed it. Limited seating.

I don’t usually buy lunch during the work week, but when I do, I always head to Perfect Pita. I’m so glad this place opened! Its relatively new to the Crystal City shops. Side Note: there is a kiosk in the CC shops, by the Hallmark store, which sells hand weapons(ie: brass knuckles, batons, handcuffs, etc). What? If I ever start my own business, its totally going to be a hand-weapon kiosk in a very«un-thug» area of Arlington. End Side-Note. They have so many pita options it takes me awhile to decide what I want. However, I try to get something different every time(tuna pita, spinach melt and chicken pita, hummus and veggie pita, chicken and cheese pita). And its always SO good. The pita portion is extremely generous, but not to the point where you feel like you’re too full after eating it. And no matter what I have ordered, I have never gotten that gross, ‘omg, I shouldn’t have eaten that’ feeling. I always feel pleasantly full. They really pack that thing full of whatever filling you order, too. They definitely don’t jip you on any sauce, meat, hummus, or veggies here. Plus, nothing I’ve ordered has ever been more than $ 6 … so suck it Market Basket with your«by-weight» pricing system. There are no tables. Everything is to-go. The service is extremely fast and efficient and I have never had to wait in line longer than 2 minutes when I come here. They also sell fruit cups and home-made hummus(its good, but very garlicky and has a bit of a kick to it) on the side board.

Gyros are usually rolled right and made by Greeks? I don’t think either of these apply to perfect pita but it’s still pretty damn good. I just OG(original gangsta) gyro and sometimes I pay an extra fifty cents for more tzatziki sauce. It’s filling and tasty. I love the yogurt sauce mixed with the lettuce and onion. Don’t be afraid of the pita; once it is one with you and your belly satisfaction will ensue, but don’t expect to get any work done with gut fill of pita carbs and gyro meaty goodness.

This is probably the best place to pick up lunch in the Crystal City underground shopping arcade. The pitas are a reasonable price(6 – 7 dollars) and you can choose whole wheat bread if you want, which is nice. They also pack the pitas with fillings. I tend to get the chicken and hummus pita, which also has cucumbers, lettuce, and tomato. Perfect Pita isn’t shy with the hummus either; they lather the pita in the stuff. Of course you know what that means: calorie city! Sure, you might feel healthy eating the food here, but given how much meat and cheese they pack into the pita with the veggies, you really aren’t going to have a trim waist by eating here on a regular basis. Lastly, the employeees are fast, efficient, and very polite. It is definitely a good place to go if you need to grab a quick bite to eat. Only downside is there is no sitting area.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to grab the metro into DC. The food was pretty good. They fill the pitas up with a lot of meat, and the pita itself is pretty good. It’s nothing super special, but the flavor is good and they make a pretty decent meal. If you’re ever in the Crystal City underground and want something different than the typical fast food, check them out. The only downside is there is no seating in the place, so you have to find a table in one of the neighboring areas of the underground.

I’m not sure why this address shows up on the map as being on US50. It’s actually located in the Crystal City underground, near the metro. I’ve been meaning to come here for quite awhile but since they close at 5PM I kept missing them. I finally stopped by here to grab some take out the other day. Take out is your only option here since there are no tables. They have quite a few different options to fill your pita, which in my case was bad. I ordered a falafel hummus veggie pita. Instead I received the falafel pita. The falfel pita comes with a side of tzatziki instead of hummus. Except in my case they actually put the tzatziki in the pita, instead of on the side. Unfortunately for me, tzatziki is one of my least favorite things in the entire universe, right up there with alarm clocks and bad drivers. Even more unfortunately, I didn’t realize the mix up until after I got home. So, moral of the story kids, check your order before you leave the store. I did manage to eat some of the pita since the tzatziki settled kind of on one side so it was easy enough to eat around. I even got brave and tried a bit that had the sauce on it… so sour, so wrong, I still don’t understand why people like this stuff. I paid $ 6.50 for my pita and it was big enough that I would have been able to make two meals out of it(if the stupid tzatziki sauce wasn’t on it!). I won’t mark down a star for screwing up my order since I should have checked it before I left and the part of the pita that I was able to eat was pretty tasty.
