Subway

I am a Subway fan but it’s unfortunate that the location closest to my house is the worst Subway establishment in the Continental United States.
The place is not overly messy or anything like that but, as everyone has already said, the customer service is TERRIBLE.
The woman who works there barely talks and scowls as she makes the sandwiches. The man/​owner is a HUGE jerk. 80% of the time his eyes are as red as a firetruck and he sits in the back and text. IF he decides to get up to help the customers he lets it be known that you are inconveniencing him. I’ve personally seen him get in verbal altercations with 2 different patrons.
It’s just a really really terrible location. Clarendon deserves better.

The absolute worst. All of the reviews are true. The customer service is absolutely terrible. I asked how this woman how she was and she literally groaned and wouldn’t speak. No eye contact. No smile. Everything looks dirty and the entire experience is overall unpleasant to say the least.
And there is a good one walking distance away. It isn’t like this is the only choice guys lets just stop going.

I’m really surprised by these reviews because my experience today was exactly the opposite. The man behind the counter (owner?) was so nice and welcoming, unusual for a Subway or even any fast food place. I’m pretty lazy about writing reviews, but the surprisingly friendly service was enough to make me write one. The food is standard Subway fare, but an inexpensive lunch with good service in Clarendon is hard to find, so I will be back.

A subway is a subway, I been to way to many Subways to count, however this one is different… they are Rude…
It really takes someone special to mess up a Subway Franchise, but this guy is doing a good job at messing it up for the owner.
So I walk in use the restroom, and as I step out, before I can even walk out or order the guy behind the counter says to me .” Hey say hi!!, bathroom only for customers!!”…
Mind you I’m well dressed, live around the block and have been here before… we’ll never again.
When I say excuse me, he says you didn’t buy anything, and didn’t say hi… and then when I take a picture he starts to threaten me and say, «hey you come here, let me show you!!!»
Wow!!!
Seriously, I’m sorry to write a bad review and hurt a business owner, but this guy is harassing your customers!

I won’t comment on the food because Subway generally tastes the same.
However, the morning staff is consistently surly– barely a word out of them. I know that not everyone is a morning person, but they should remember to be reasonably nice to customers.

RUDE staff. When I asked for an additional amount of one of the vegetables the rude man who served me said ‘No.’ When I asked why he said ‘everything has limits.’ He was extremely passive aggressive and continued to argue when I asked for just a few more pieces. All I wanted was a larger amount one single veggie on my sandwich and nothing else. It’s not going to break his bank, it’s not like I was asking to take home a carton full of it. He should be glad that I actually bought the sandwich, I was debating leaving it and this awful restaurant with it’s creepy ambiance behind. Never again will I come back here. RUDE!

Great hours, clean, space to sit, toppings and breads stocked and fresh. Server was nice enough.

not really sure what is up with all these other reviews…
I went here for lunch just now (3:30 PM) and the service was fine, the people there were nice, and my meal is delicious. It is about 3 blocks from where I work and well worth the walk.

Happy to report some of the staff have begun acting like halfway decent human beings here. Thus, a second star.

It’s subway. Meat is slimy, bread not cooked all the way, cheese tastes like rubber and the lettuce is half brown. Wouldn’t go there ever again. Not even for the $ 5 subs. Go to quizno’s

I’m almost always here, my stepfather owns a mechanic shop down the street and when the boys get tired of chipotle and want to eat somewhat healthy down to subway we go! The service is pretty good. I don’t understand why almost every week they got someone new?
I noticed the old man who is always on the phone doesn’t work there anymore. my guess is he blew up the phone bill.damn. Now. I feel like I know this guys. The girl is nice to me, always says hello [my friend likes to disagree with that, but i think its just her ] One look at me and they know I’m there for either a BLT or a pizza. don’t give me that look, can’t a girl pig out sometimes?
Now, I would had given them a 3, but man that short, creepy guy! It doesn’t help that his eyes remind me of those of a cow [I’m not mean, I’m just honest] While I was paying, little retard tried to hold my hand, umm. no friend. I’m not here to hold hands. just creepy!

I came here one saturday night around 8:30. A woman cleaning the floor saw me pull in. and went to the back… When I walked to the front door I noticed the hours said it was open until 10:00 p.m. I also noticed the woman locked the door and stayed in the back until I left.
I’ve been here a few times because it is close to my house. The service is awful. The two girls who work there during the day are arguably some of the rudest human beings in existence.

I stopped by here one evening around 8pm on my way home from class.
The man behind the counter was EXTREMELY RUDE and scary.
He did not say ONE word during the entire 30 minutes I was there.
He had 6 customers and didn’t say hello, what would you like, or anything.
I asked for lettuce on my sandwich and he gave me a dirty look when I asked for more because he was very stingy with it.
I will NEVER come back here, I’ve had better customer service at McDonald’s!

This one is better because it’s near my house, and I’m lazy. Also, this one is not so dingy looking. It’s small with about four tables but who actually eats in situ, I’m not sure. And you can always get the goods in a salad. But I still wish that the chicken were real chicken and not that machine masticated spam. Imagine if they had real good chicken and fresh bread!
