Great bakery. but yes they run out of stuff quick! You gotta try their banana cake! So moist! Must have like 2 cups or more of butter. but I don’t wanna know that! I go in everytime I’m in the area. Have yet to try the bread pudding. Not an croissant fan though, chocolate cake was pretty good!

Small little out of the way location. I had a chocolate almond croissant. It was amazing. I also had s white chocolate mocha. Again, amazing. I’m also a coffee snob. I’ll be back as it looks as though they have breakfast sandwiches on homemade bread, salad and lunch sandwiches.

Can’t go wrong with homemade baked goods. Love everything I’ve tried here. The veggie sandwich is my favorite

I’m a huge bread pudding fan. I’ve never had a bread pudding muffin until today. Absolutely delicious and the chocolate almond croissant was so yummy. Glad I stopped in here today.

I wanted to like this place much more than I did on my first visit. In all fairness, my experience wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t impressive either. That being said, I will probably be back to try a different dessert or a sandwich sometime in the future. I came in at about noon and had wanted to try a chocolate almond croissant but they were already gone. So I got the next closest thing which was an almond croissant. It was good but I have had better. I was really hoping for some fabulous almond flavor and a good amount of almond paste inside the croissant. Unfortunately, the croissant barely had a hint of almond flavor and it was dry inside like a regular croissant with no almond paste. What a bummer. For 3.75 $ I feel that it should have been more than a plain croissant with a dusting of sugar and sliced almonds on the top of it. I felt a little bit ripped off to be honest. I will give this place another chance but my first impression is that it is a bit pricey for what you receive.

I had seen this place several times and wanted to check it out so yesterday I decided to stop in and it was very quaint and the girl behind the register was very polite so I chose a couple items. I got the bread pudding muffin and the other was some kind of spice cake with very little cream cheese frosting? I would say that the bread pudding muffin was pretty good but neither one of the desserts were something that was out of the ordinary or extraordinary. I just didn’t think the prices quality of the food. I have no comment to make on the sandwiches because I didn’t order any so that I will leave up to other people.

The service was great! I ordered to go food, it seemed a bit pricey, but not too bad. I got a turkey club, roast beef, and a chocolate almond croissant, and a bread pudding muffin(pastries were for sharing). Woman at the counter was friendly and patient. They brought me a free iced tea during my wait, which was much appreciated. Pretzel bread on my sandwich was great, and the other person liked their roast beef. The croissant was too good to share, but I did. Bread pudding muffin was great. The chips that came with the meal were fantastic, and I am not a big chip person. Well worth the money! Can’t wait to try more delicious things from the big menu!

Would love to see a bigger selection of naked items, but due to the location, I imagine the have a limited customer base. However, everything I have eaten here has been fantastic. Simply the best breakfast sandwiches you can find!

I almost left without ordering. Sitting here eating what’s left of my bread pudding muffin I wanted to hate this place. I feel that way about any café where you walk in and the cases are half empty even though they are open for another three or for hours. If you’re going to run out of stuff at 1pm for God sake close at 1:30. Just my opinion. But I didn’t leave. The girl behind the counter was super nice and had a genuine smile so I stayed. Ordered a chocolate almond croissant and the bread pudding muffin with a coffee as well as the Turkey club. Both pastries were excellent. The sandwich was average. The bread was a little strange, flaky and fell apart. Didn’t hold the sandwich like bread should. The tomato was over ripe, too juicy and warm. The turkey, bacon and lettuce were all good though. My advice is come early, you’ll get a better experience with more offered to you that’s fresher.

I was really impressed with my gluten-free pastrami sandwich the other day. It’s really difficult to find tasty food that’s gluten-free. The waitresses were very kind… but shy, therefore not letting us know that the hot sandwiches will take longer to prepare. We had a bowl of soup we ordered as well… but noticed everyone else(some even ordered hot sandwiches also) in the resturant that came in after us, was getting their food left & rght… while we waited patiently for 20+ min’s. It was akward! But the food was very good! :)

So this is my ‘go-to’ place in Smokey Point. My last review was ‘WHEREDIDTHEGINGERCOOKIESGO!?’ They brought them back but now… WHATHAPPENEDTOTHEGINGER?! They are just a molasses cookie now… wanh! Still the best sandwich around. But they have a new muffin… the bread pudding muffin… to die for! I had already had the molasses cookie so had to wait until later to eat the muffin. Quite a challenge! They are super delish!

Their gluten free bread is AMAZING! Always call ahead to see if they have GF loaves for sale-they make their bread fresh and it sells out quickly!

I eat here once a week for lunch break while in the area. The menu is simple café style and I always love my meals! Cabbage soup, homemade everything, delish bread, and decent price. It’s usually busy with regulars and even though not much for atmosphere I highly recommend it because of the food and service. The owner is always working hard too.

Excellent food and service. We come here quite a bit for lunch since we live nearby. Clean and inviting. Gave us free meat on our salad when we forgot to order it. Will continue to eat here.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but what I got far exceeded any expectations of a simple BLTA(bacon lettuce tomato avocado) sandwich. So first things first. They put these delicious ingredients between two slices of housemade bread. That’s right. you heard me. They make their own bread. So huge points for that. Even bigger points for the bread being amazing! The bacon was piled high, mayo was dripping off the sides(I LOVE mayo. ahem) and the rest of the fixin’s were just perfect. This was truly a surprise lunch for me. I was leaving Lowes and figured I’d stop by and grab a sandwich for lunch. Great choice. I’ll try to get there earlier next time as I bet the display cases are much more full in the AM hours.

We have been going to this little café for awhile now… that was until I ask why the bill was so high for a sandwich, cup of soup and drink. I was told that the cost was due to the charge for each vegetable item on the sandwich to include 50¢ for the bread to be toasted! The food here is good, but I can’t see spending $ 15 on a tuna sandwich(toasted 50¢), soup and a drink.

It’s an awesome place! My friends and I came here right before we headed to Vancouver BC. They told me it’s really really good! I didn’t know how good it was until I had one of their pastries. I ordered an almond croissant. It’s not just croissant with almond on top. There’s actually almond cream inside the croissant as well as the flakiness. Well, they also have other pastries that I wanted to try but I already had my breakfast! I am planning to go there again when I head north next time!

Everything here is A-mazing! Croissant breakfast sandwich was delicious. Pretzel breakfast sandwich with sausage was even more delicious! Only thing we didn’t try was the coffee. Stand out local bakery/café. Must try if in the area!

Love this place! Small mom and pop shop and everything is made in the bakery out back. Amazing croissants! A must-stop every time I pass by! My favorite is the chocolate almond croissant and they’ll heat it up if it’s not almost hot from the oven. The gooey almost chocolate sauce is amazing! If you feel like savory, any of their breakfast croissant sandwiches will rock your world! Top that with a drip coffee and you’re off to an amazing morning!
