They have gone down in quality over the past few years. Its nice that they deliver, but recently it takes awhile for them the pies to arrive.

Oh goodness. This place has amazed me for the past 2 years. How is it still in business? It’s disgusting both inside and outside, and their pizza is gross as well. The prices are kind of more than expected too. Don’t go here… save yourself.

Not a bad place at all. Pizza was a little bland, but it was clean. The birch beer is amazing, try that out for sure! Open late, and an easy walk from our hotel.

It’s pizza. The kind you want when it’s 1am and you’re drunk. Think mediocre NY pizza. If you were in Manhattan, it’d be terrible, but here, it’s pretty good.

Pizza Roma is the only thing is look forward to Saturday at 3 am. I’ve fought in pizza Roma, I fell in love at pizza Roma, I made friends and I made enemies but at the end of the day, devoured a whole pizza and felt terrible the next morning because I’m never getting the six pack I always wanted… But man it was so good. The two dudes who run it are my boys. They don’t take not **** from pissants. If you want pizza now, you gotta wait the line and ask what slices they have immedieately. If you want a whole pizza call ahead.

8.30pm on a Wednesday night, went in for a very basic item at a place with«Pizza» in the name: one slice of cheese pizza. I got a piece that was old. Like hours old. Cheese was congealed and crust was sorta stale. It’s not like they were about to close up shop. It wasn’t that late and they close at 10. It was just a mediocre piece of pizza warmed up. I’d almost forgive them and chalk it up to a slow night but the price was what sunk the ship. $ 3 for a regular sized plain slice? No good.

This place just sucked. It just sucked so much! I had gone in on 4th of July, at or around midnight. The pizza reminded me of the greasy, Friday special the school lunch lady would serve. I am all for supporting small businesses, but I don’t think I can ever return to this place.

Decent pizza and good service. A nice owner. Better than the Chinese food next door. How original pizza was made. Good stuff.

Not open during posted hours. 12:30pm Monday, height of the lunch rush. Not even a posted notice as to why they were closed. Unprofessional and poor management.

Yuck. Too much grease it soaked through the cheap paper plate. I wondered why the place was dead during lunch hour then I ate and found out why.

This place was close to our hotel. The pizza was okay, nothing special. Prices ok. Employee not the most friendly. We had the white pizza and cheese. Very thin with not a lot of topping but had good flavor. Not greasy but we like a little grease. Refills 50 cents on soda fountain and when we asked for water, well bottles it was. Some people came and went but we were the only ones who ate at the restaurant. Average café style place. No outdoor seating. Right across from metro rail.

Keep walking… barely average. If you ask for Parmesan Cheese… they can barely say yes… then they never deliver it to your table. The slices are literally just ok. If you have any other option in the entire county, go for it.

Five stars for the hard working people ! Three for the pizza! Nothing memorable nothing bad and nothing good! Pizza is on the dry side but I really enjoyed the crust! It’s a good option since it’s open late! But not the most satisfying ! I love plain cheese pizza this wasn’t that wow!

We came in late but were greeted friendly. The pizza was decent and the calzones were good as well. The counter staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience even though it was late in the evening.

This was the worst gyro ever. Reasons– a) No cone of meat deliciousness in the shop, just pre-cut rectangular meat slices a la Sysco. b) Just two or three slices per gyro. No heft at all for $ 8 plus tax. c) The tzatziki sauce had chunks of feta in it. Who does that? d) There are no salt/pepper shakers anywhere and no napkins on the tables. e) There are no condiments for the pizza anywhere. f) There are as many water-damaged ceiling tiles as there are undamaged ones. To quote the bad guy on the phone with Liam Neeson, good luck.

Pizza could use some work at times, but the service is always great — even late night during the drunk invasion. I really enjoy the meat calzone/stromboli(never understood the difference?) with sausage and pepperoni. Just the right amount of cheese as to not overwhelm

Maybe its my fault for going to a Pizza place and getting a Gyro, but my first experience here was not that great. I mean they offer subs and Gyro’s and it seems like your typical late night food shop, but maybe the Pizza is where its at. So this day in age, I feel like we are used to fresh ingredients and quality made food. My method of thinking is that if you are going to have a prep station right in front of your establishment, you probably should not be using ingredients that come straight from a can or plastic bucket. Or if you do, at least put it in a prep container to make it look like you made it from scratch. This place is small and seats are limited, refills cost extra and the bathroom is well… Not the best I have ever seen. I think the next time I come back ill have to try their pizza. That looks like their number 1 seed for food.

You really can’t miss here. Why? Because you can get 2 large pizzas carryout special for under $ 28, grab some sodas at the 7-eleven, and be in heaven. We always get the hawaiian and either the bianca or the spring pizza. The hawaiian is a great mix of salty ham and sweet pineapple, and is fresh to death(always get there a bit earlier to watch them make it). The bianca is a garlic lover’s dream… super cheesy, garlicy, and to be honest, a bit over the top. I always feel sick after 3 slices of the bianca, but not in a regretful way. Get it if you love garlic and cheese. The spring pizza is a nice light alternative, sauceless, and chock full of fresh tomatoes and spinach. The crust is a bit doughy, but I like the chew factor… they make a mean pie here. Quick service, easy to order, and great carryout special(that doesnt need a coupon) makes Pizza Roma one of my favorites. LEGIT!

I moved away from Ballston but when I recently returned for some business, I had to get my usual from my old pizza joint. I’m a little depressed. I feel like they’ve tried to get bigger but they lots some points with me. The ham on my pizza for example had something incredibly hard in many of the squares. It really grossed me out. Then the guy at the counter was someone I’d never seen before and he had some piece of cheese or something stuck on the corner of his mouth. That REALLY grossed me out. I paid and he pulled out my pizza to slice it and the whole time I was thinking«please don’t drop your mouth cheese into my food.» Next time I’m in ballston, I won’t be stopping by again.

After coming back from NY, I was still fiending for pizza. This was the only place that said they had«NY Style» pizza. I’ve been fooled many times before, and my expectations were set pretty high already, but this place actually delivered in my book. The pizza was close enough, and it was reasonably priced, so I guess I can’t complain. The place wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be at lunchtime on a Monday, but that’s fine with me. There was a lunch deal where you get 2 slices and a soda for $ 7. In NY, you could have gotten 2 slices for $ 2 but oh well. If you’re in in Ballston and in the mood for pizza that’s thin, crisp, cheesy but not too much, and oily, then this is the place for you.
