Pretty good pizza. Only had it once but was somewhat memorable. Crust was crisp, tasted like New York style pizza and a mix of dominos. I’m sure will come back at some point.

Its a local pizza joint that is a bit expensive for the kind of food quality they have. I just stopped here for a Saturday lunch. Business was slow so it was nice to talk to customer service while I was eating. I had the turkey panini and it was surprisingly great. It also came with chips and I bought a water. It was a very nice lunch.

Have made a few trips to the Ballston area and decided to try it. As someone else said, similar set up to Sbaro. Had a slice each of meat lovers and plain cheese. Crust was fairly thick and on the verge of being too much. Would have liked it a bit softer, but not terrible. Toppings weren’t bad. Service was pleasant. Now the bad. Sodas from cooler were very warm. It was very hot outside and they had the doors open. AC was on, but you could barely feel it every now and then.

We walked over here from the mall for some pizza after a movie. The pizza here was actually pretty solid. I got the ‘stuffed pizza’ with pepperoni and sausage. Very tasty! Downside: It’s summer in the area and about 90 degrees outside. It was about 95 degrees inside the restaurant as they had no AC on AND the ovens are cooking pizza. Crazy stupid hot. We went to sit outside in the 90 degree temps and it felt better because there was a breeze. If you want quick decent pizza this is the place! I recommend picking it up and going somewhere with AC though.

I grab late night pizza from this spot for me and the mister often. I didn’t give a five star because there have been a few nights the edges have been a bit burned and the cheese just to crispy but for the most part they are always on point. My favorite part is the prices are beyond reasonable and up charge for new ingredients is not ridiculous like most pizza places.

I’ve been there a few times, the pizza when it’s fresh right out of the oven is pretty good, but they will reheat their pizza most of the times… The reheated pizza is not that great. I guess if you are hungry and go there late at night it may be ok, but 2 slices of peperoni and a soda cost me $ 10.00 Seems a bit pricy for what I got. It’s not bad, but could be better! Oh… a soda refill will cost you $ .55 cents! the place is clean but over priced for what you get.

Disgusting! I stopped by at 1:30am sober. There were a few randoms in there. They had all types of pizza from cheese, pepperoni, sausage, etc… the sauce is tangy garbage. The crust is cardboard & the pizza is made of the cheapest ingredients possible. Absolutely disgusting. Never again! This place is terrible.

I got sick all the times I’ve ever eaten here. I only had the pizza so I can’t speak for anything else. I love pizza just not from here. The staff was very nice and the place was clean. It kind of reminded me of a giant mall food court pizza place.

We were looking to «explore» outside our usual restaurants and came here for lunch — first warning sign was the complete emptiness of the restaurant. Staff is nice, but pizza was downright terrible — reheated, and absolutely no flavor’, which is hard to do on pizza with supposedly flavorful ingredients. I got the«supreme» and my gf got the pepperoni — both were pretty terrible, and halfway through the second slice we both dropped it in the trash and headed out. What really struck me was that 30 minutes later, we both felt downright terrible — like a ball of improperly cooked lead had settled in our stomachs. We both love pizza — and yet I think it will take several months before I’m able to look at a slice without retching a little at the memory of Pizza Autentica.

There was nothing really authentic(or even«autentic») about the pizza at Pizza Autentica. The stromboli wasn’t authentic either. But for late night fare, it wasn’t half bad. We visited at around 10pm on a Saturday night and the place was pretty much a ghost town. I ordered a spinach stromboli and 2 slices of cheese pizza. The pizza was, as expected, greasy. But it wasn’t terrible. The service was also nice and the place was clean, at least.

Um, no. Yeah… just no. The pizza is awful. Way too much sauce and a soft crust. Plus, just lacking in flavor. My salad was actually fresh, but the dressing options are limited. The gelato looked good. Staff was not so friendly. I had high hopes, but those were sadly dashed.

Worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life! Can’t believe I just paid $ 4.35 for a single slice of such disgusting food. I couldn’t even finish it, had to throw it out. The only good thing I can say is that the service was nice and and the place looked clean. Absolutely revolting.

The pizza gets one star. The second star is for the gelato. The cookies and cream didn’t disappoint with its smoothness and creaminess. If you want pizza and it’s before 10pm, look elsewhere. This place only makes sense for late-night, last-option dining. Their pizza is subpar, even the basic cheese pizza lacks flavor. The other pizzas that they typically have laying out look so unappealing. The strombolis do look good. I just might try them on another late-night pizza run. My prediction is this will be one of the next restaurants to go once their lease is up.

This place never fails to disappoint. Canned toppings and the pizza sits under heat lamps for hours since it’s always empty. Spare yourself the disappointment and eat at one of the many good pizza options in the area like Pupatella, Fire Works, the Italian Store, Pizza Roma or even Rustico, which is across the street. If you are forced to eat here, get the classic Italian panini.

To be clear: I think Pizza Autentica should change its name to Stromboli Autentica, as that food item is the better of the two. I have come to this restaurant many times, and having ordered both pizzas and strombolis, I determined that my choice will always be the strombolis(sometimes with the gelatos). From walking in, this place is very straightforward as there are no real decorations and the floor, chairs, and tables are plain. Unless you have a bit of alcohol in you, you’re not going to stick around to admire the atmosphere very long. The pizzas are definitely not a selling point for this establishment. Unless you are lucky and a new pizza has just come out of the oven, your slice(s) will be reheated in their oven. It’s not terrible, but the pizza does not have a lot of flavor to it and definitely does not warrant such a high price. It is mediocre. The strombolis, however, are what keep me coming back. They are reheated in the oven, too, but the result is a lot better than the pizza. I recommend ordering the pepperoni and sausage stromboli one time, and the spinach and cheese stromboli another time(I can’t decide which one I like more). The crust comes out nice, the toppings are delicious, and the marinara sauce goes really well with it. It is a little greasy, however, and you do have to take care as to prevent the grease from spilling out of the stromboli and onto your clothes(keep your napkins handy). All in all, come here for the strombolis and skip the pizza. And order the gelatos if you want a nice dessert to finish your meal.

I selected one star, because i cannot select zero. 1) I’m from Brooklyn, NY. That said, I have very low expectations whenever I get pizza elsewhere. This place is by far the worst pizza I have ever had in my life. It was worse than my low expectations. There are places in NY that sell slices for $ 1, that are better than this place. Food specifics 1) Crust — Tasteless semi soggy 2) Cheese — Rubbery tasteless part skim mozzarella 3) Sauce — Metallic, watery, tasteless. 4) Parmesan cheese on the side — tasteless and powdery, the consistency of flour more so than cheese. 5) Price — $ 15 for a «large» whose slices are barely bigger than that of Dominos. Overall this pizza is by far the worst I have ever had.

Pretty awful pizza. Rubbery cheese(seriously, I had to chew the cheese extra), sauce with no flavor. I was expecting pretty average pizza going in, but was actually disappointed. I literally could not put enough cheese, red pepper flakes, and garlic on my slice of cheese(I always get a slice of cheese to truly gauge the quality) to make it taste like anything. The prices? Yeah, they’re pretty thrifty for the area, but I’d prefer saving even more and making something in my microwave. To top it off, their satellite radio was going in and out with a frequency of about three seconds. Absolutely maddening. Fortunately, it was a great station(Florence and the Machine, Mumford and Sons). If they ever get that issue figured out, I might actually give them an extra star for music taste… Just wish I could give more for, you know, pizza taste. I won’t be back.

This place was OK — reminded me a lot of Sbarro’s with the set-up. I liked that they offered beer, we got a pitcher of Yuengling and a box of pepperoni/mushroom pizza and ate in the restaurant. I thought the pizza was delicious and was full after only 2 slices. My only problem with this place is that it felt expensive, coming out to almost $ 40 for the pizza and pitcher. It felt funny paying $ 40 to eat in a place that, as I mentioned earlier, has the atmosphere of a Sbarro’s. Also, the place was absolutely empty. The servers were nice though. All in all, I would say this place is mediocre at best. Probably won’t be eating here again because it was relatively expensive for what you are getting.

This Ballston branch of the by-the-slice local pizza chain opened in mid-October but apparently still doesn’t have a website or even a Google Maps presence. We spotted it and wanted to call in a take-out order, but since we couldn’t find the phone number, we had to walk over. I snagged a menu on display, which does not mention any delivery service. It’s set up vaguely like Sbarros, with nicer-looking décor. We looked at the options on display, and ordered one«the works» pizza to go($ 16.99). The employee seemed startled that we wanted a whole pizza instead of just a slice.(They seem to specialize more in «combos» like cheese slice+salad+soda for $ 5.99.) She pulled a pre-made one out of a case, took off the plastic wrap, and put it in the oven for a few minutes. It’s possible that you could choose your own toppings — aside from the 6 menu combinations — but I kind of doubt it, since there’s no toppings list anywhere in sight, including the paper menu. They also have 3 calzones, 6 paninis(«come with a bag of chips!») and 4 salads. And a gelato case with 8 standard gelato flavors, which looked nice. HOWITTASTES: Crust is ok, thicker than Pupatella’s and Papa John’s, but thinner than Faccia Luna’s(or Sbarro’s). «The Works» had pepperoni, tiny sausage chunks, thinly sliced red onion, thick chunks of green pepper, and mushrooms. No olives, which was disappointing. The sauce was good. I started pulling toppings off just to eat the sauce. The real stinker here are the mushrooms. I like mushrooms. Except squishy CANNEDMUSHROOMS, which these obviously were. Ew. Why? I pulled them off, which is probably a pizza-first for me. Sigh. At 6pm on a Sunday, it was pretty empty(ok, so it being Halloween might have contributed, but it’s not like this is a trick-or-treat neighborhood). I overheard the only sit-down customer reminiscing about how this reminded him of all the by-the-slice joints in New Jersey that he missed. So maybe that’s the prospective clientele here– displaced New Jerseyers.
