Mariano’s has never failed me! I’ve taken several clients to lunch and dinner and they’ve always been very happy. I was there last Friday with some friends from California, and one of them actually said they would move to the area just for Mariano’s. Wish they had more stars because I would definitely score as high as I could. Oh and don’t forget to try my favorite dish«Camarones Carlos & Charlie» Six Mesquite grilled shrimp stuffed with fresh jalapeño & cotija cheese then they wrapped them in applewood bacon, with the most amazing epazote white rice & grilled fresh vegetables!

Great food, love coming here for nachos while watching sports after work. Also one of the best bars in Arlington as far as restaurants go.

Excellent. I have lived 20 years in Arlington and had never tried this place. Boy was I missing out. Service prompt and friendly. Food was amazing. I rarely see tamales made fresh every day somewhere. These have never seen the inside of a freezer. Fresh made tortillas. Flavorful everything. Queso that was still good cold. Flan the way someone’s abuelita made it… Light caramel flavor with sweet custard. I wish my stomach was bigger. We’ll be back.

Don’t come here! It’s horrible! Stay away! I’ll fall on this grenade for you… You know how you’ll be finished eating and you’ll dip one more chip in that congealing bowl of queso and immediately regret it? That didn’t happen, here. The queso is room temp now and it’s still good. I’m not a tamale guy. Probably too many mass produced, frozen and reheated disasters to endear them to my palate. My wife let me taste her tamales. Fresh. No, seriously! Like, made that morning, fresh! Flavor! Good lord, it has a flavor, and me likey! I had the poblano al carbon. My plate shows up with this huge poblano on it and I’m expecting bland, overgrown, with a heavy green undertaste. Nope! Firm flesh, fresh flavor and I don’t know what they’re using in their smoker, but if they don’t tell me, I’m breaking in later tonight. Best, smoky flavor ever. Flan. The wife says it was spot on. I’ll take her word for it. I ate half. No time to argue when you’re shoveling it in. I’ve lived in SoCal, Arizona and Texas. I like to think I know something about Southwestern cuisine. This place just hit my favorites list big-time.

I had the best margaritas I’ve ever had in my life. It was the perfect spot because it was crowded, but not overly so. All of the staff were very friendly. I didn’t feel rushed. Great Saturday night.

Very good food. We used to come here over 20 years ago. We didn’t even know it was still open. Talk about getting better with age! We loved the enchiladas, stuffed poblano pepper, and the chips and salsa. We will certainly be back — and it won’t take us another 20 years!

I’m not personally a big fan of Tex Mex, but this place as really good! Will definatly be going back again! Service was great and the portions were big enough that I had enough leftovers for dinner.

Great spot for tasty Tex-Mex. Their portions are more than ample and the staff are great. They easily accommodated our group of 12 and provided good, efficient service and exhibited patience with our party which contained 4 kids ages 8 to 13. I had the combo fajita platter and thought it was pretty good. Have I had better? Yes, but no major qualms about theirs either. Others in my party seemed to enjoy their food as well. Prices are fair and the interior is cozy.

Cool layout inside the restaurant but the food is pretty average and the prices are way overpriced. I wouldn’t come back in all honestly due to the poor service and lack of taste in the food. Stick with the bakery on 180 for better value and food

Very authentic mex! Dont go by price you get a load of food. Worth it. Must try. Very genuine ambience. Sit back relax and have the margaritas. Frozen. Be sure to spend $ 20 perhead if you choose to split the bill. But again worth it. :) Staff is friendly.

If you have never dined at Mariano’s in Arlington, TX, you don’t know what you’re missing. The cuisine is of such a high quality and consistency, that I don’t go anywhere else for Tex Mex. The salsas are delicious and the chips are always warm and fresh. Your server will even add some extra heat to the salsa upon request. And, speaking of the servers, they’re excellent. I have never, never, never had bad service at Mariano’s. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. They actually treat you as a guest! As soon as you enter the establishment, you are immediately acknowledged and are quickly seated — even on busy nights. Almost as soon as you take your seat, a bus person is there with your chips and salsa. The server is right on their heels to take your drink and food orders, and I don’t know if I’ve ever had to wait much more than ten minutes for them to bring my meal. As far as the food goes, there isn’t a bad item on the menu — far from it. Like I said at the start, it’s so good that I don’t waste gas or money going anywhere else. The chicken and beef fajita’s are grilled to perfection. The enchiladas and tacos are outstanding. The chili rellenos are superb. And, the taco soup is singularly delicious. On top of everything else, the place has atmosphere — a real southwestern flavor. The lounge area is spacious but cozy, and the dining area is great for both intimate get-togethers and large gatherings alike. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Mariano’s real claim to fame — the Margaritas. Mariano Martinez is credited by The National Museum of American History, as having invented the first ever frozen Margarita machine. Frozen or on the rocks, Mariano’s Margaritas are out of sight! If you love Tex Mex cuisine as much as I do, pay a visit to Mariano’s in Arlington, TX.

Mariano’s was a very pleasant surprise. I found it last minute trying to plan a girls night that was conveniently located between Dallas and Fort Worth. It is in an industrial park area so I was a little nervous but it ended up being wonderful! The staff was very friendly when we arrived and quickly got out drink order. While their happy hour was weak, they had a nice drink menu. Their salsas were delicious! We had two options with great flavor. One of my girlfriends ordered the tableside guacamole and it was very tasty too. I ordered the combo fajitas. The chicken was decent but didn’t even compare the beef. The beef was cooked to perfection and it almost melted in my mouth. Great flavor on the entire fajita plate. I will definitely go back next time I’m in the area.

We enjoyed our evening at Mariano’s. The two salsas served were delicious, especially the smoky tasting one. I was not impressed with the fajita salad. While the steak was really tasty, it was just a bagged salad in a shell with some steak, cheese and grape tomatoes dumped on top. I expect better than bagged salad for an entrée. My guy had the chicken fajitas lite and he said they were fabulous. I liked the fajita lite concept… more veggies and less meat. Of course, margaritas were a must once we learned that Mariano invented the frozen margarita machine(now inducted in the Smithsonian). And they were excellent! We sat in the bar and loved the warm and cozy atmosphere. No big chain coldness /cattle car feel.

Mariano’s. home of the frozen margarita. I owe you so much! This restaurant is located in a pretty industrial area of Arlington, but from what I’ve heard it’s been there FOREVER! The food is very good, and there’s a really large margarita menu with nice happy hour specials daily. I’ve gone there for lunch and dinner and I have no complaints. It’s so good! Definitely try it out if you’re in the area and you haven’t yet!

This place has the absolute best fajitas. I tried some of my husband’s first then the next time we came I had to get the fajita feast(we had our daughter that weekend and the foreign exchange student). It was $ 89 worth of beef, chicken and shrimp grilled to perfection and enough for about 5 or 6 adults — believe me it’s a LOT! I’ve also had the house margarita, which you have to try just to say you have. They invented them, after all. My plan is to try the others soon! We’ve only been a time or two but hope to go again, maybe tonight?

This place is freakin’ amazing! I don’t have enough good things to say. I have been to this place a few times and I have yet to be disappointed. If you haven’t been here, drop everything and head here now! I love queso(I mean really love queso), and it’s pretty good here. It’s probably not the best queso that I have ever had, but I would rate it a solid«A.» I get the queso Mariano which has the meat, sour cream and salsa all swirled in — making a cheesy heaven. Now, don’t even get me started on the fajitas. Probably the best that I have ever had… I mean ever! The meat is smoked and then grilled. I can’t even begin to explain how amazing the taste. Tonight we got the fajita feast for 4 and it was truly a feast! They had to put two tables together to hold all of the food. It was enough food for at least 6 people. The icing on the cake, the service is fantastic. We have only been here a few times, but the servers already know us and stop by to say hello. This place is easily a 5 star, and there are few places that I have rated so high.

Yep I’m giving them 5 yummy stars. I’m A fajita lifer, and these are the best mesquite chicken fajitas in DFW! The salsa here is the best best best anywhere. Margaritas are strong! The bar here is cool with the bucket seats! Place could use a bit of a remodel but the food is really where it’s at so I guess they can get away with it. Looks like a place really in Mexico, and everything that comes with that. Pappasitos is its only rival in my eyes, but not with fajitas! They are the best HERE!

I never knew this place was here until I went with a group of friends and my sister! It’s right off of 360 and you can miss it in a blink of an eye. It’s right around the corner from Six Flags. Mariano’s has an 80’s feel when you walk in the door. They also have the first margarita maker! Chips, salsa, and queso are all really good! The steak fajitas are yummy. My favorite here is the Poblano Al Carbon! A roasted poblano pepper stuffed with chicken and cheese! The flan. I have never been a fan of Flan until I ate here. I’m not sure what it is compared to other Flans I’ve had, but it was delicious. Maybe the caramel. I don’t know! It’s good though. Mariano’s is definitely recommended by me.

The service here was good and the food was okay, but definitely overpriced. Its also more Tex-Mex than Mexican. I got combo of items that included cheese enchilada, rice, beans, guacamole tostada and a taco. The enchiladas were smaller than I what I’m used to and the taco shell was fried closed which made it difficult to put toppings on the taco. There are more Mexican places out there with lower prices and better food, so I can’t see myself going back.
