Luci’s Chicken -n- Rice

So this place is like Chicken Express with an Asian twist, mostly being the fried rice. The place is set up like a gas station convenience store drink selection with a fast food joint but smaller. Nice staff and seating.
The combination fried rice was delicious, with huge chunks of chicken and chunks of fried shrimp. The chicken was slightly salty, but the rice balanced it out in a bite.
The chicken tenders looked just like Chicken Express tenders. Same breading texture. But it didn’t have the same crunch or fresh off the fryer taste and tenderness as Chicken Express.
Service was really fast. Less than 5 mins to get my whole order ready. This place satisfied a craving combination I didn’t know existed, until now.
Can’t wait to try their other fried rice options and fried chicken.

My absolute favorite fried chicken joint. They also have the best chicken fried rice. Get the Baja. I could eat the Baja fried rice with fried chicken EVERYDAY if I wasn’t so fat but once every 2 – 3 weeks will suffice.

First time here. Huge chicken tenders, succulent, delicious. Easily feeds 2 with 5 tenders. Next time I’m trying the chicken fried rice.

The food here is very good. I’ve had the chicken tender and the catfish plate. Both were very good. Now I’m trying the shrimp fried rice. The only problem I’m have with it, is the shrimp is breaded. I guess I should’ve expected that from a place that cooks mostly fried foods.

Chicken Tenders and fried Catfish are great. Ask for sweet n sour sauce! Great food in a ghetto side of town. But great!

Normally I’m not into fast food and definitely not into fried stuff, but when I feel like being BAD, I’ll come and pick up an order of fried gizzards. I also like how this place has it’s own drink section that rivals a 7 – 11. Their canned cokes were three for like $ 1.60. Took about ten minutes to get my order though I noticed they have a drive through so I might try that next time.

Huge portions! Chicken and Catfish are all I’ve tried but they are great! The wait is a little long sometimes but it’s worth it.
