Visited during buffet hours; me & wife enjoyed the food here. Afternoon it becomes a sit down/couple place– lol I recommend buffet time! Worth the try!

The food is great and the customer service is outstanding. It was my first time at the restaurant and one of the staff owners took it upon himself to show me how to fix my plate from the buffet. This is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time… I definitely recommend India Grill, extremely nice staff

Having eaten Indian food in Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, India and the UK, they have a really good authentic flavor(outside of the chicken which you will never get in the U.S.). The food is very flavorful, presented typical Indian style and temperature is hot as well as spicy(will spice your way) hot. Perfect for a child not wanting too much spice. Service a bit chaotic and spotty for a ‘nicer’ Indian restaurant. I did not eat buffet(actually do not like buffets as a rule), dinner is menu only and buffet is lunch(typical in Arlington Indian restaurants). I am eating at this Indian cuisine restaurant over any others in Arlington. They are in The Highlands so they look more ‘upscale’ than any other in Arlington, service still needs to be cohesive and price point fits The Highland area restaurants.

Good standard fare in a very pleasant atmosphere. There were so many good vegetarian choices that I feasted on that I was satisfied before trying the Tandori.

The presentation of this place is a bit on the low end of what I expect of strip-center restaurants. Something just felt a little«off» /too relaxed about this place and how the staff was acting. Not UNprofessional, but not like they’re really on their game yet. This is buffet style Indian food. I’m not a huge fan of foods that rely so heavily on sauces, so this wasn’t exactly my cup of tea. I tried a few different things and the flavors were nice. There was something that looked kind of like a dessert that was actually potatoes and peas that was pretty good. The rice pudding was quite nice. There wasn’t really anything«wrong» with this place. But, for the $$, I would probably go elsewhere.

Great place! I have been here twice and have tried the dinner and the buffet. was not disappointed on either occasion and I am very happy to come back soon! Right now the restaurant is having a holiday special buffet. The buffet runs about 13 bucks per head after tax, and gives you access to all of your favorites! I had multiple servings of the chicken tikka masala, vegetable samosas, goat curry, and naan. I sampled some of the other dishes as well but as far as main courses go, you can’t ask for a more tender meat, flavorful sauce, or fresh bread. I ordered a masala chai as a side beverage to go with my water and it was very pleasantly flavored. Not too sweet and at the same time you could taste a strong flavor of chai. The desserts I tried were the mango lassi and the rice pudding. The mango lassi is essentially a type of mango pudding that tries to stay away from traditional American super sweet tastes. The rice pudding maintains the same theme and doesn’t get too sweet, which I really enjoy. The rice pudding has raisins and almond chunks in the mix. The service is very pleasant, and they make sure to take care of whatever issue you have. I didn’t have an empty glass once and they didn’t leave any dirty dishes on my table for any unnecessary amount of time.

The pluses. The place was clean with a decent atmosphere. The service and crew were friendly. The negatives. The food was bland at best. There was little flavor though there was«heat.» The tomato based dishes tasted too tomato-y and sweet, almost like it was cooked in ketchup. You’ll have much better luck at any other area Indian restaurant. Overall: The flavor was equivalent to eating steak from ihop, not nasty but not good either.

Best Indian ever! The staff was incredibly welcoming and beyond friendly. I felt like I was visiting family I hadn’t seen in a while. The Chai tea was amazing, as well as everything in the buffet! I kid you not, there was nothing we didn’t consume! I wish I could give them another star. Outstanding!

Ambience **: friendly, I came at night and it was a bit too dark inside. Presentation *: everything looks the same, not interesting Service ***: nice Quality ** Taste *: everything tastes the same whether it’s lamb or goat. everything was too salty For the price I would not recommend this restaurant

My Indian friend took me to this place, it was amazingly good. It is buffet for $ 9.99 not bad at all. Goat curry was the best in my opinion, meat was tendered and curry was thick and rich. Vegetable pakora was really good, seasoning was perfect. Vegetable Samosa was awesome. Service is good, clean and never run out of food.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Arlington. It could be a little cheaper(weekend buffet) but the quality of the food is pretty good. The spices are just spot on, and there is an excellent variety, especially for vegetarians! Samosas are my favorite thing ever so of course I was pleased that they were all you can eat! All you can eat turns out isn’t a lot! This food is very filling, and a lot of it has to do with all the vegetables you find yourself eating due to how AMAZING the spices make them taste! I was a little disappointed at the naan, but they kept bringing it out hot and fresh so I guess I just happened to have got a piece before they refreshed it. They have a little salad area and desserts, and you really want to try the mango custard! It is very soothing to the palate after all the menagerie of different spices. I also had the chai tea, and it was so soothing I became sleepy. Hats off to this place! I’d better not frequent, or I’ll become fat very soon!

From the Indian Grille patio you can see jet airplanes flying low and slow into DFW. They float by every 7 minutes or so, and the food is good and spicy. I go here before a movie or the comedy club. The lamb vindaloo is in the photo.

Incredibly delicious Indian buffet. I was treated like family and had plenty of food and water for a nice, heavy lunch. I’m a pretty adventurous eater, but I was still very happy and impressed with the chicken tikka, rice, and samosas. It is always fun to sit down with friends(some new, some old) and share food, stories, and experiences in a place that definitely encourages that kind of thing. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and we were very well taken care of.

Wow. You can’t go wrong with this restaurant! At all! Amazing Sunday buffet(10.99 each person). Don’t go in expecting a «China King» type of buffet, because it is the opposite. Just the right selection to fulfill your hunger and your India food experience. From fruit, to entrees, to dessert, there is everything for everyone. I tasted everything, and I cannot say there was one thing that didn’t taste good! First time at this place, and I will assure you I will go back. I used Unilocal to check them out, so I’m highly satisfied with previous reviews. The staff was extremely friendly and thoughtful. Although they were busy, the staff made sure you were taken care of, whether it be water wise or something else. The food is fresh and there is a good turnaround of all food items. Their desserts were AMAZING. I suggest you try everything, even if you think you won’t like it. Take small portions because you’ll get full fast. HIGHLYRECOMMENDIT!

Went for dinner. Best curry flavors I’ve ever had– vindaloo and black lentils. And we eat curry regularly. Roti was a bit greasy but absolutely delicious. Excellent service. Highly knowledgeable waiter who crafted a perfect meal for us that was all vegan. Prices were great.

I think I have found my favorite Indian restaurant! I’ve been here twice and service is always outstanding. They are all so sweet and on top of it, it’s amazing. Cleanliness is up to par as well. Dinner here is good. I had the lamb curry which was spicy but the meat was a bit dry. I noticed that as a pattern at most Indian restaurants I’ve been to so I’m thinking that’s just the way they prepare their lamb. The BEST tikka masala ever! It has so much flavor and the chicken is so tender. Like everyone else, I also love their naan very much. The vegetable samosa with tamarin sauce is so buttery and perfect. My suggestion would be to go for their lunch buffet. It’s extremely affordable and you’ll be very satisfied.

Very warm and welcoming hosts… Good biryani– North Indian style Naan– perfectly done and served hot Fish– wasnt the best, but good nonetheless Lamb kadai– very appetizing and yum! Great experience!
