Went in with my elderly mother. She got one plate of salad and soup and could not eat it all. We asked for a to go container for the salad. I was told it would be $ 5.99. For ½ plate of salad? After the manager grilled me he agreed to give me a container. This is not a good customer experience Note that our drinks were never refilled either. I will not return to this store.

I’m vegan, so I decided to come here to to eat their vegan soup. Which I ate 3 spoon fills to then realize there was ground meat in my «vegan» soup. I asked our waitress if that was meat and she said it was, that they must have just had the wrong sign on it, then walks away and told the guy in the back to change it. That was it. I called her again and told her I’m vegan and I don’t think it’s right, and I wanted to speak to her manager(since she didn’t seem to care), he came out and said that the wrong sign was up, but he can offer free drinks instead of the waters we were having. I told him I don’t drink soda. And I don’t feel that i should pay for something that isn’t vegan but was labeled vegan, which is something I take serious. So he didn’t really seem like he wanted to give me a refund but ended up taking a Buffett off my bill… Geez thx for making me ask you.

My dad always gets buy one get one free coupons here, and he always invites me to have lunch with him here It’s a standard salad buffet bar, spring mixes, Cesar salad & roman lecture with a varies of topping & dressing for your salad. Sometimes the soups are a hit or a miss. The baked potato aren’t too bad. But the«entrees» like pizza and whatever they have there don’t look appetizing to me enough to touch

I highly suggest using the coupon for a little over $ 5 for the buffet. There’s probably one someone in your garbage. I stumbled upon mine a few months ago and have been going here like crazy since the discovery. The gingerbread and blueberry bread are so tastey! But I’m a bread girl and, therefore, somewhat based :) The Lemon Chicken Rice soup is also a + in my book.

This locations is under new ownership and they are staying on top of things. Things are kept fresh and stocked and the soups are top-notch. I’m mainly vegetarian and this is my favorite go-to place in Arlington. Things like the sweet rolls, pizza, puddings, prepared dressings, etc, may not be «gourmet» but keep in mind that a place like this has to cater to different tastes to stay in business. They also keep the place really clean and have upgraded the décor.

Just okay. Nothing spectacular. The only thing I like is the variety. But the quality and taste wasn’t there 100%! :(

What can I say that hasn’t been said before? Not too much, actually. Standard salad bar fair. Tossed salad, caesar salad and even spinach salad(my fav). Lots of toppings to add. A pasta station with a pasta and a couple of sauces of choice. Fruit, veggies, soups, taco bar & hot potato station rounds out your selection. There’s also a dessert area, with brownies, cookies, jello and ice cream(with chocolate or strawberry sauce). The only downfall I saw was the existence of a few flies. I’m sure, with the doors swinging in and out all day, that’s probably a natural occurrence. I just steer clear of anything I see that they landed on. Remember to tip your«waitress». If you don’t have cash on hand, you can go to the cashier and use your debit card to get cash to leave on the table.

Rabbit food! Veggies galore. Dont come in here expecting to eat healthy. Ur gonna come In here getting a salad at first. Walk down a little more. Add eggs. Bacon bits. Ham. A massive load of dressing(it’s ok. It’s light dressing) some more bacon. Go to the taco station and load ur salad with taco meat Blam! The unhealthiest salad ever. Sooo yummy. Soups are good. I like their broccoli cheese soup and their Mexican something soup. Bread sticks r good. Ooooo. Love their corn bread. They also have tacos and sometimes a pizza station or pasta station. To top it off they got soft serve ice cream and fruits. Do it yourself strawberry shortcake. It’s all u can eat too. So go back and get some more unhealthy salad. This time. Skip the veggies. Add every thing else as b4. =)

What can I say about this dump? It’s overpriced, it’s dirty and grimy, it’s disorganized, it’s a cesspool of stale bits of rubbish that they’re trying to pass off as food. DOYOURSELF A FAVOR, ANDGOTOSWEETTOMATOESINSTEAD.

Haven’t been to this location in years and now I remember why! I felt it was very unsanitary, practically every booth cushion had a rip or hole in it. Not very many non-salad options or a lot of dressing varieties. I wouldn’t go back.

clean place, good selection. The wait staff is a bit slow with the drinks and you have to get their attention if you want more but it’s low cost and family friendly.

I love all Souper Salads. What I don’t love is how high the prices for a buffet have gone! And yeah sometimes this location isn’t 100% clean… Why do I say SSs are A-OK, then? … Amazing gingerbread, pizza, millions of salad options, yummy dessert(strawberry shortcake!), soups, etc! Mmmm. That’s why. I would go here occasionally if I still lived here.

I used to go here a long time a go and then stopped. I don’t really remember why we stopped but I was reminded why yesterday. This place is really dirty. :(Half of the table weren’t bussed so we had trouble finding a place to sit. We settled for the one streaked with old rag water. The pasta station seriously had noodles hanging off the counter. My lettuce was wilted and my dressing was sour(not in a good way — i think it went bad). Out of the 4 soups available, the only vegetarian one was cheese and broccoli… not cool. The gingerbread was pretty good but not good enough to let me overlook how dirty everything else was. This place has gone down hill. :( I should have driven down the street to Sweet Tomato or Corner Bakery. O well, at least this time I won’t forget why I stopped coming here.

This Souper Salad does a very creditable job but nothing outstanding. Still for the very reasonable price it is a bargain. The gingerbread is especially good. The ingredients were fresh on my visit. Hard to say what to recommend since everybody tends to build salads to their own tastes.

I have to admit that even though something as simple as a salad would to most people not be considered a memorable experience; but to me it can be. So, when I lived in Texas whenever I could I would always be visiting the local farmers market to pick up some fresh produce to concoct my rather unique salad recipes. Sadly though when I was out running errands I found that the only kind of salad that I could find that could even be considered halfway decent was a Caesar salad. I would look at that dull pile of lettuce and cheese and think«dear me is this what I’ve reduced myself to?» I would try to eat those salads with their measly side of soup and half a breadstick and wonder if I would ever be full. «I’m a Texas girl dang it!» I wished to cry out to the waiter, «Bring me a normal serving!» Though of course being the well-mannered person that I am; I didn’t say a word. So then every time I wanted something fresh I would have to go home or carry a snack with me. Now, I don’t know how many of you have been to Texas but if you have then you’ll know that trying to carry some oh lets say fresh peaches around with you all what you’re going to end up with. That’s right folks; you’re going to end up with peach preserves rather than the nice snack you intended to eat.(Though of course there is nothing wrong with peaches preserves, they are by far one of the greatest toppings ever made for fresh biscuits.) So, I would get these overwhelming cravings for a great salad and have nowhere to find one. When I wanted something consisting of garbanzo beans, beets, artichokes, water chestnuts, jalapenos, all piled on a bed of spinach people would look at me like I was crazy! Perhaps I was. I might not ever be able to find an answer to that. However, I did find that even the crazy could feel at home amongst their own kind. And that’s why whenever I couldn’t take the average Caesar salad I would stop by and visit all of the other veggie-lunatics at Souper Salad. I found that I could customize my entire meal to fit my taste and not just what ten random people thought tasted best. Between a huge salad bar, the soups, baskets of fresh baked bread, enough ice cream to keep even a ten year old boy happy, and the countless other delicious menu items I found that I could get full, be healthy(to an extent…), and enjoy myself with a tasty and fast meal. It’s also a great place to bring the entire family. Which is saying something because we all know how most kids are when it comes to anything that isn’t deep-fried or smothered in chocolate. So if you ever get the chance you really should give Souper Salad a shot.
