I’m not a fan of buffets but my best friend took me her so I gave it a try. I’ll admit I was impressed. It is a great deal for the price. A nice selection of items. With fresh sushi as well. The staff is always polite & the setting area seems to stay clean. I have been a few times & am always pleased.

This place was nice in a clean and service way. Both very good. I found the food good but not enough selection but the price was good.

Best buffet food I’ve had in a long while. This one renewed my faith that buffets can have delicious food.

A great staff that does not mind stopping to take the time to help me find an item. We received attention, respect and a courtesy that continuously kept our plates changed out for our refills. The food was good to great, etc.etc. with a pleasant atmosphere. Well worth our visit this Friday evening. Thank You Golden Buffet Arlington on Little Road. Daniel & Debra

My husband and I absolutely love this buffet! Very clean, love the seating arrangement. The food is very hot, and they keep the food rotating so it stays fresh. I love the fact that they have real ice cream; not just the soft serve. Many different flavors to choose from. The staff there is very friendly, and prompt. We haven’t had a problem with getting more to drink. This one of the only chinese buffets open on Sunday, the price is very reasonable. It has never been overly busy when we come here! Totally recommend this place!

Plenty to eat here! Most people are afraid to eat at buffets these days because they overeat. So many temptations! But actually with a little pre-dining resolutions, buffets can be one of the healthiest places to eat. Just make a decision to eat the good foods and ignore the rest. This clean and very spacious Chinese buffet has plenty of options. I started with a plate full of hard boiled eggs, edamame, sushi, cucumbers and tomatoes. I do wish the edamame was kept warm instead of cold. Not so good cold and there is very little of it out. Makes me feel like I’m taking most of it, probably because I am. Haha. Green tea was served in a darling blue and white tea pot.(See pic) Several nice TVs around the room. Back to the healthy eating options. Avoid anything fried or breaded. There’s lots of that here but it’s easy to ignore because it’s mostly all on one table. Eat some protein like shrimp, beef and chicken. Lots of veggies like broccoli, cabbage, bell peppers etc. After eating all this good for you food, you won’t have room for ice cream and the sweet stuff.

Disagree on he bad customer advice. Customer service is great. The food is what made me give it 2 stars. Poor quality food. Poor ventilation. You will want to burn your clothes when you leave here.

The place was clean atleast. Had a fish smell as soon as you walked in. The selection was ok nothing to rave about. The American food they cooked was way better than the actually Chinese food.

Now, I’ve had many a Chinese food buffet, so I’m just going to get to the important details. The food had good flavor, especially the seafood, which I like to hit first to get my money’s worth. I’ve been here four times with my family, and service has been courteous and prompt. However, many things were out of place, and some items were dry. Labels were on the wrong foods, and the yeast rolls were kind of burnt. Tables are clean and well lit, and plates are picked up promptly.

Me and my wife hit this buffet an afternoon after work. We have been to quite a few around Arlington, and this is the worst one. The selection was low, key items were missing, me and my wife agree its not worth our time or money. Everything seemed old also! Very disappointed! I recommend looking elsewhere for a good buffet! $ 9.99 Dinner.

Every thousand generations, a perfect buffet is born, a Golden Buffet. This isn’t it. Good: Clean, nice staff. Bad: Food. Everything was bland or tasted bad. Plus a lot of the food wasn’t Asian. Pig in a blanket?! I can usually find something I like but not this time. Sesame chicken was mush. Sweet and sour chicken had a blueberry taste to the breading. Yes blueberry. To Golden Buffet Management: I suggest a redo on the menu. You have a nice space and nice staff. To everyone else: If you care about quantity over quality then feel free to come here.

The food always tastes nice. It’s a buffet so you know what sort of food to expect. If you want proper Chinese go to an expensive restaurant. There is a variety of other ‘American’ style foods for those who don’t necessarily want all Chinese(or those who have been forced to attend by family) The food always appears fresh, which can be an issue at buffets. I’ve eaten here a few times now. It is very clean. The service is always very friendly and prompt. Reasonably priced.

You’d have thought after our less than stellar visit to Pan Asia a few weeks ago my husband would have been scared off of Chinese Buffets, but this new restaurant is right near one of my favorite places in town(Corky’s) so we pass it constantly and curiosity finally got the better of him. I felt so bad cheating on Corky’s to come here, I parked around the corner and skulked through the rose bushes to the door. But fear not, Corky’s, I will never do this to you again. I am already sad that one meal I could have spent with you was sadly wasted. Golden Buffet is shiny and new, and very clean, but I can’t say the food is good. Probably the best thing I tried was the grilled chicken strips & chicken on a stick(which tasted the same, except for one being on a stick and the other not). The pepper steak & beef w/broccoli were edible, not great. Same with the vegetable spring roll. The pepper chicken was pretty bad, and it got worse from there. The orange & sesame chickens were awful, mushy messes. I tried something that looked like a latke but turned out to be a truly hideous burnt egg foo young with frozen peas & carrots in it. They had some classic Chinese dishes* there like«crab meat with melted cheese» and«hot dog wrapped in croissant», and the crab rangoon tasted like a dessert it had so much sugar in it. What about the sushi bar? I’m pretty sure they used thousand island dressing in lieu of sriracha mayo as «spicy sauce», and that not a drop of mirin went into the sushi rice. Kroger sushi is better. I probably should have tried the hibachi instead. Really, I think they should wipe out the buffet altogether and replace it with a hibachi or a Mongolian grill or something. If you already think buffets aren’t the greatest, this place won’t change your mind. If you are purely a volume eater rather than a quality eater, have at it! *yes, I am being sarcastic

This is a fairly new restaurant. I was hoping someone else would be the guinea pig, but finally caved in and tried it. It was excellent. I really hope they continue serving up fresh food. It is reasonably priced, actually a little cheaper than Lin’s or China King. They have pulled pork on their buffet and it’s pretty good. I’ve been there twice now. It is decorated very nicely on the inside.
