Yeah, it’s closed. The problem here was that the girls who worked there thought the place was for their own little socializing venue. I watched two patrons walk in, be ignored, then walk out. There were a few employees gossiping in the parking lot directly in front of the door. With car doors opened, they took more space then they needed, and no place for paying customers to park. When I mentioned that, some girl goes into a verbal tirade at me. I got a lecture that I don’t own the store, so I can’t boss them around. It’s closed… Good. Maybe such people will learn that a business is open for it’s customers. Not for their own entertainment. I think I should feel sorry for the owner. Having wasted an investment in it, and obnoxious, self centered, entitled attitude girls destroy it.

I want to love this place so so much. It’s close to my house, very clean, and they have delicious pastries and baked goods BUT every time we go recently there are issues… The last few times we went service was SO slow. I mean we are ordering food that is ready prepped. Why the 20 minute wait?!? Also, we ordered stuffed croissants with turkey and cheese and they were BRICKS. Solid hard and not edible. My third complaint is that they are often closed for some reason. A few weeks ago we arrived hours after they opened only to find lights out and door locked and last weekend they were closed again for renovations… Frustrating. There are way too many other donut shops in this town for that to happen…

Mixed review like a box of assorted jelly donuts. First thing — you notice the decoration. It is a very nice doughnut shop. Not some greasy looking place with barely working noisy coolers of chocolate milk and business cards tacked all over the wall(not that that is bad). You could easily have a business meeting at Glazed. Food — looks great(at least a few things in a case). So as far as first impressions — rock n roll. But then… they are out of nearly everything I tried to order. It seems like most of the food arrives from the other location?!? It was 7am! A doughnut shop with no doughnuts! The truck was late? Wait, a Unilocal sign for a discount? hmmm… well, everything is out. So I went with a couple of sandwiches(not any of which I really wanted) and which were okay at best(this place isn’t known for their sandwiches). The plates were pretty. The worker tried and was nice. The coffee okay. But I want to review a doughnut shop based on their doughnuts! So I held my review for a couple of months — tried it again, and they were almost out of everything, again.(I noticed this theme in a few other reviews below). So I have heard about these great gourmet doughnuts but have never laid my mouth upon one yet. I don’t even know why I can award any stars. I guess because the plates and display cases were pretty and the pics on Unilocal look tasty? I don’t care how much I want to like this place, I just can’t when every time I show up they don’t have product. Maybe I will try the other location. So for those of you below with pretty pics of tasty doughnuts and great reviews — could you save some for the rest of us?

Walked in to a young man playing his guitar in the café. Nice! I was welcomed by two ladies at the counter. My nephew wanted donut holes but they were out. It’s only 10am! How do you not have this donut shop staple? Moving on, we ordered 2 glazed donuts, a cinnamon roll and a twisted turtle specialty donut. I had the twisted turtle, not too bad but not something I would drive back here for either. The kids loved theirs. That’s all that really matters. Would I come back? Only if I happened to be on this side of town and I didn’t want donut holes. To each his own.

Wish we had gotten in early when the donuts were fresh, but either way they were yummy! Service was wonderful and very helpful. We had a strawberry donut, glazed, the regular kolaches, and the bacon/egg/cheese waffle. The kolaches were AWESOME. Really wish I had tried one of their more off the wall donuts, but wasn’t feeling too good. Boyfriend loved his waffle, it was big enough that he couldn’t finish it. The atmosphere is very shabby chic and inviting. Fast service and a huge menu that I wish we could have explored more. Bathrooms are also nice!

How does a place in Arlington Texas do a better crème brûlée donut than the Doughnut Plant in NYC? I have no idea. But I wanted to eat five of these. Super friendly and helpful staff and delightful donuts.

This was a great place to go for something new. The atmosphere was great — even has live music — the décor was very attractive. The donuts were fantastic.

The doughnuts are indeed delicious. I like that most of the«specialty» doughnuts are cake doughnuts with toppings, and not a thick layer of glaze beforehand. The s’mores, cookies & cream, and maple & bacon were delicious, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the Chocoholic. The doughnuts tend to be crispy on the outside, which I like. The downside is that when I’m there around 6:30 a.m. to get some grub before work, the cashier will often tell me «the baker isn’t here yet,» so they don’t have all of the varieties. No reason to be open if you can’t make all of the doughnuts at the start of the morning! That’s the reason I’m not giving 5 stars.

Based on Unilocal reviews, Glazed was one of the things on my list to try when I was in Texas. We had planned to arrive early since flavors are known to sell out quickly but our time management skills suck so we ended up arriving later than planned, maybe around 11:00AM. I checked in on my Unilocal app and was informed of the free glazed doughnut offer — yay! Glazed is an adorable little café with comfortable seating and cute décor. We walked up to the counter and a lot of the flavors were indeed sold out. The employees were friendly and patient as we each decided on which flavor to get. I spied the lone Doughnutella doughnut and had to have it(sorry, free glazed doughnut). We each got our doughnuts on a plate and sat down to inhale them. I love light doughnuts a la Krispy Kreme as opposed to cake doughnuts so I really enjoyed the Doughnutella. It was dusted with powdered sugar, sliced in half, and filled with a spread of Nutella. The doughnut itself was airy with a ~melt in your mouth~ texture. I didn’t really pick up a ton of Nutella flavor but it was still a good doughnut. I want to come back and sample other flavors but we’ll make sure to come early next time!

one word: MACARONSMACARONSMACARONSMACARONS!!! This is such a great place for a nice breakfast with the family! My son says he loves this place and I have to agree! The ambiance makes you feel right at home and paired with the great service makes eating an unforgettable experience! But make sure when you come here you order the rose lychee macaroons! On a different note, this is a great place for studying in the afternoon sipping on their amazing mango iced tea! Everything on the menu here is fantastic so you can’t go wrong with anything you order!

My father and I came in here randomly one morning for some donuts and i was pretty surprised! PRO: –The service was fast and friendly. Good customer service is always a necessity in any kind of business and they definitely have it down! –The donuts are delicious and creative! The hands down best donuts I’ve ever had in Texas! — The décor is pretty cute and it gives the place a nice homey kind of ambience! — The macarons are heavenly! Never had such delicious macarons! Con: — Sometimes on a busy day its hard to get some seating to sit down and enjoy your breakfast but that just shows how busy the place is! Overall: I would definitely recommend this place and and make sure you get those macarons! -

I walked into this place with no expectations because let’s face it. Arlington is filled with chains and nothing special. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised! There selection is vast and it’s so hard to walk away with just one thing. The ham and cheese corrisant is pretty good. The coffee is definitely worth trying and the red velvet donut is divine.

Best donuts around without question. I have seen this place on Matlock across from Fry’s for quite a while, and finally decided to go in. Got a couple of kolaches and a coffee, then came back the next day for a dozen donuts to bring to the office. This place far surpasses the generic strip shopping center donut shops around every corner — the selection is incredible. Big fan of the maple bacon donut… Not sure where they get their coffee beans but the coffee is damn good as well. Both times I went in the staff was friendly and on top of their game, and the european décor is very nice. The lunch options look quite good as well — can’t wait to try those.

I’ve been dying to try this place for a while now. But before I get into the bulk of this review, I must admit that I came in about 30 minutes before they closed because I didn’t realize they closed that early. That being said, the place has a nice simple feel and the workers were nice enough. My friend and I only picked two donuts out of the remaining, a red velvet cream donut and a glazed bacon donut. The red velvet just seemed like a cake donut that was colored red, not really red velvet cake. The glazed donut was also just a glazed donut with some bacon sprinkled on. Like I said, I came in late so I still want to give this place another try. I will be arriving MUCH earlier than closing time next time and hopefully trying at least the Maple Bacon donut and more!

So you want to go somewhere for breakfast where you can eat good food and sit and enjoy your morning. IHOP seems too crowded and commercial. Waffle House isn’t sounding right. Denny’s neither. Starbucks? Nope. And you want something more exciting than just your local donut shop. Enter Glazed Doughnuts & Café. Or should I say ENTERHEAVEN. First off, the place is decorated with a bit of Parisian flair, without being overwhelming. Beautifully bright, clean floors and tables and a sitting area where even the manliest man is proud to sit in a beautiful black and white Damask covered chairs(I know this because a group of 3 brawny guys were sitting there when I went). The bathrooms are large and clean. There’s even cool water they keep out for everyone, often flavored by slices of limes, lemons or oranges. I’ve been a few times and have enjoyed a number of the doughnuts and even had the hot Chicken Caesar Sandwich. And everything was freshly prepared and so delicious. You know what this would be perfect for? A date spot for two. Or a celebratory breakfast for a few. Or just because it’s a day that ends in Y and you’d like to enjoy your breakfast while staying away from a drive-thru for a minute. There’s also free wifi so that sounds like a reasonable location for some Out-Of-Office work time, don’t you think?

The new American(who needs French when you have this?!) café! This is a great cozy spot which is just upscale enough to make you look around before licking your fingers in public. But then ya just do because its that good. The chef is here to make your favorite savory dish or to fill your choice of sweet treat with the perfect fresh filling. The sausage and cheese kolache is a must! The chocolate filling for the croissant was a little too milk chocolate and got lost in the heavier pastry but still good. What she called an éclair is really just a chocolate covered long john to the rest of us. The teas are divine. Overall, love it!

Man, people aren’t kidding about this place. Had to check out something at Fry’s across the street, only to find out EVERYTHING comes with Win 8 on it now(YIKES) and finally got a chance to go and check it out. Very good coffee, great maple bacon donut, great red velvet cream donut, and the sausage and cheese kolache I got to go was very good when I got around to eating it hours later. Best maple icing in recent memory, and the bacon really made it taste great. Red velvet is a cake donut, with just the right amount of icing in the middle. Café Americano was good and smooth. Could be considered a little pricey at almost $ 9 for the four items, but plain dounts nowadays can be 75 cents, so it isn’t outrageous or anything. Just glad I don’t live closer to the area, cause I’d be in here way too often.

Hey Glazed, I see ya!!! I heard about this place through other Unilocalers. By hearing I meant me stalking their check ins to see what they’re eating. heheh sneaky kitty!!! I stopped by one morning to get a jalapeño sausage pig in a blanket. I didn’t expect it to be that good but they are pretty dang good!!! I also got a bacon éclair filled with raspberry. You have the option to have it filled with raspberry, strawberry, cream, and a few others. Service was friendly and the place was clean! very well kept! I love the lay out and decorations, too! It’s like an upscale donut shop! :) I wish Glazed was open when I was getting my undergrad at UTA. All these awesome places popped up after I graduated… wassup with that? Oh, they probably did me a favor though. Cat doesnt need to gain junior 45. WOo! NONO!

i was excited to try a gourmet doughnut shop for the first time because I only get my doughnut fix at Krispy Kreme or the like. So I was really excited to try these fancy doughnuts and see what the hype was all about. Sadly, the whole experience was sort of a letdown. Yes, Glazed offers very unique flavors that you won’t find at a franchise, but were they good? And were they worth the high price? Not really. I got a half dozen of assorted yeast doughnuts. Okay, so my thoughts on ALL of them, save for the nutella one, was that they were TOOSWEET. a closer breakdown: — the thin mint doughnut was just a fake minty chocolate icing. way too sugary — the banana crème had too much cream inside, and the banana flavor was very artificial — crème brûlée had a hard caramelized shell. It got stuck in my teeth & was hard to bite into. — smores had marshmallow bits all over the top and they were a sticky mess. this was my least favorite of the bunch. — the nutella one was the best, only because it was the simplest. it was actually a VERY boring doughnut: a plain yeast doughnut split in the middle with a thin nutella layer. like a nutella bagel, with hardly any nutella. lame. but since it didn’t seem to give me diabetes in one serving, it would be my «favorite»… My boyfriend got the maple bacon éclair and loved it. I tried a bite and I think I’m just not a fan of the whole bacon-with-sweets-trend but maybe that’s what’s keeping this place popular. So maybe you should try that when you come here. But personally, it was too salty AND too sweet. weird. Oh, and we also got a ham and cheese croissant sandwich. Totally overrated and overpriced. We waited forever for it, and I mean, it’s just a croissant sandwich! I have no idea why it took so long. Service was just not good. They also use iPads as the cash register and I dont know if it was just that day or what, but the iPad wasn’t working properly, so it took forever to put in our order/pay as well. I’ll stick to my Krispy Kreme, thank you very much.

LOVETHISPLACE! The décor is warm and homey and they have the most unique selection of donuts I’ve ever seen. It is always immaculate and tidy– and the bathroom is beautiful. Every barista I have ever encountered was helpful and cheery. They are always more than happy to replace anything you are not 100% satisfied with. They always have samples out so if it is your first time, try the samples before you make your selections. They have flavors of the month– like the pumpkin cake in October– and it is heavenly– super moist with the perfect blend of spice and a delicate touch of glaze. They are open late(til 6pm most days) and they will even make you fresh hot items if you don’t mind waiting a few extra minutes (try the begniets) Also– don’t forget to get a stamp card– after you buy 10 dozen you get one free. UPDATE– I don’t know what has been going on here lately– but it seems like there is a new person every time I go in and it takes twice as long to get my coffee. I really hope this is temporary– I love this place I want to see it stay open.
