Right off the highway, this hidden gem does a lot of things well. The menu is impressive and the food is above average — especially the wings and the nachos. The service has always been awesome, and the owner makes the effort to greet guests and ensure quality. I’m not really a drinker so I can’t speak to that, but my friends never have a complaint.
They do trivia on Tuesdays, and it’s one of my favorite formats in the area — they play 2 separate games. That way, if you show up late, or don’t want to stay all night, you’ve got that option. The questions are challenging without being ridiculous, and several teams show up so it stays competitive.
5 stars for a great place to enjoy a meal and hang out with good people.

It’s a Pub folks, the wings are awesome! The beer is Ice Cold, but the Margarita’s are intended to make you drunk at 5.00 apiece. Not to be righteous…

Grabbed a bite and a couple of very cold ones at this fun spot tonight. Our server/​bartender — Ashley, couldn’t have been more attentive or kind. She guided us through the menu and specials and made sure we were satisfied all night. Hubs had the fish n chips, I had a burger — bother were cooked to perfection. When you’re looking for a laid back spot that isn’t too full of itself and has great food and drinks at very fair prices — you should give this place a try! We’ll see you there, as we plan to return.

So I came to this place a couple of weeks back and it did not strike me as anything over the top. I came back recently and I was hungry and the own er Larry recommended the wings. I have lived in Apex for 20 years and hands down they have the best wings in Apex. Reminds me of the good old days of EMR Wings but better. Larry is a awesome small business owner and very pleasant to talk to. There are a select few places I would go out of my way to patronize for their services rendered. It’s all about the customer experience and in this case the experience was outstanding. Everyone or any place deserves a second chance and I am so glad I came back. I even got to meet an old Salty Dog veteran of the Navy thank you sir for your service. God bless you all and God bless america.

When you walk in the sign says seat yourself so I picked a 6 top for our large group. I waited 10 minutes for the waiter and could have waited longer if my friend hadn’t stood up and asked if we needed to order at the bar. Once she said something our service was better. I think they are just disorganized.
The beer selection is minimal. Only 3 beers are on draft, but I was happy with the pumpkin beer I ordered. They topped the beer with cinnamon which turned out to be a good idea. I ordered a burger and fries. The meal was alright but nothing to get excited about.
Karaōke started at 8 unfortunately, so conversation became difficult. There were only 3 tables with guests seated in the main dining area and the same 3 guests got up and sang. It was a bit awkward but I guess the bar was attempting to draw a crowd.
I probably won’t go back unless it is convenient or a friend asks me to go.

Met a group here for dinner last night, walked in and saw that my friend had grabbed a larger table for us already. She had already been waiting 5 minutes so we both waited a little under 10 minutes until I got up to ask someone if we could get a beer while we waited for the rest of our party, ridiculous. Finally our server came over and took our orders. Maybe there was a lack of communication about who covers what tables because after that the service was good.
Draft beer selection was VERY slim, I had a choice of Blue Moon or a pumpkin beer with a dash of cinnamon on top (unless you drink Bud Light, Miller Lite, Coors Light or Yuengling). They do have a decent selection of bottles and cans but when I am at a restaurant I prefer draft.
For food, I ordered the Highlander burger with fries. It tasted a bit dry and overseasoned but I did like the cheese and carmelized onions. As far as the fries went they were good but did not taste as fresh as they looked. My friend ordered the Fungi and Swiss, I was able to try a bite and thought that it tasted good. I was looking to try the Sweet Hawaiin originally but it was not served with a piece of pineapple so that changed my decision.
One thing that I did not like at all about this place was that I could stare straight into the kitchen from my seat. Maybe they could add a half swinging door to help close it off?
Karaōke started at 8 which I thought was a bit early, it made it hard to hear each other and the speakers made an annoying buzzing sound.
And, the darts have seen better days. A few of the people in our party tried to play but could not get the flight on the end of the dart since they were all messed up.
I would possibly return, if it were convenient.

Awesome bar. Plenty of tasty beverages to choose from. Delicious food served quickly. I really enjoyed the wings and pub chips. The employees are very friendly! Would recommend. Check them out on Facebook to learn about their themed nights. (Karaōke, trivia, etc)

Disappointing experience — was hoping for more from this new place! Missed the mark–
Greasy burger– small in size. Salad was lettuce with some tomatoes. When we initially when in we introduced ourselves to the owner, we are small business owners as well. We would’ve thought during the course of the meal or even at the end of the meal that the owner would have asked us about our experience or how our food was. She never came back. :(

Disappointing. The server was busy playing games instead of checking on us. The kids meals came out late and the macaroni was still undercooked. In general the food was okay but not great. The place was pretty empty. The bathroom needed attention. I’m guessing it would be fun as a bar, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a restaurant.

Excellent burgers, good liquor selection, and an inclusive environment with friendly staff. Hope they get some crowds in there on weekends!

The owners, Rachel and Larry, are extremely friendly and welcoming! The food is delicious, wide range of beers and liquor as well! Would recommend
