Tried this place for the first time. Loved the Cobb salad(hint get the house made bleu cheese instead!). Fiancé got the wings and a side of fries. No complaints from us! Great atmosphere, but if you can’t do loud, this isn’t the place for you. We will be back!

We took the whole family to Rudy’s Pub last night. They had no trouble handling our party of 8, and served us our appetizers within minutes. The nachos were great, but the Pretzels with cheese and mustard dips was phenomenal! A few of us took our waitress ‘s recommendation and ordered one of their specialties — Roasted Tomato Mozzarella sandwich and it was superb! Others ordered steak and potatoes and a few had hamburgers. Everyone enjoyed their meals and their beers and soft drinks! We were very impressed with Emily, our Server because she was on top of every detail; refilling our beverages, making sure our food was served exactly as we ordered, and responding to each request for mayo, dressing, etc. She even put on the Hurricanes game for us on the big screen TV! We told her we were celebrating our daughter’s birthday and she brought a little treat with a candle so we could all sing. Can’t wait to go back to Rudy’s. If you’re looking for a fun night out, give them a try!

Absolutely incredible experience tonight! I especially loved the Pretzel appetizer with their homemade queso and Dijon dipping sauces … Yum yum yum! Wonderful employees and atmosphere as well! Our table was singing along to the music and dancing the whole time– we loved the set list. Overall, I can’t wait to go back; I’m going to crave those pretzels in my sleep ;)

Bad customer service. Do not come here the food is good but I will not patronize a business with rude and discriminatory practices.

If you have kids Rudy’s is the place to be on Thursday night. Kids eat free and they have a magician named Happy Dan. He is great with the kids and even kept the adults entertained. We had the classic buffalo wings and they tasted great. Only downside was the appetizer. We had the mozzarella sticks and one of them wasn’t done all the way through. The waitress apologized and tried to resolve by bringing another. We were fine with what we had eaten and were content. She then came back and said the manager removed 25% off the appetizer. THATISGREATSERVICE! We will be back again!

Great bar food that reminds me of the Jersey and NY bars of my youth. Check out their wings, burgers, salads, and especially Rudy’s Dip. Oh, and the chocolate to-die-for cake.

Forget all the negative comments… This place is the best! I eat out more than I should probably admit and Rudy’s is one of my favorites! I go every Tuesday with a group of friends for trivia and even though we never win, still have a blast! Service is great, Rob the owner is awesome and very friendly, drink specials are on point, and the food is awesome! I have yet to have something I did not like. Also, if you are into Chicken wings, you will not find any better than at Rudy’s. Large, crispy(can also get grilled if not super busy, or maybe always? no idea), and delicious with a ton of sauce choices. If you are in the area and want some good old American style food, check this place out!

Had the breakfast platter: 2 eggs, bacon, biscuit, home fried potatoes. I was pleasantly surprised. Basic food but cooked the way I love it. Potatoes were moist and covered with a tasty onion grilled flavor. The biscuit was super fluffy and flavorful. Eggs were eggs. They could switch to a smoked bacon for a little more flavor but still good. My wife has been there for food and drink specials and has enjoyed it.

I have been to Rudy’s a few times now and the experiences have been alright. Good drink specials, depending on the day that you go. The crowd is always interesting. On this recent visit, my mom got the omelet since brunch was all day and it included home fries. It was alright, the home fries were great but the eggs in the omelet were a bit overcooked. I think that the service was good and they have a decent amount of TV’s. Since I am around the area, I will visit again if I want to get a beer and hang out.

We love this place. It is easily one of the best casual dining restaurants in Apex. My personal favorites are the Cuban sandwich, or the chicken and waffles for Sunday brunch. If you have kids, definitely check out the«kids eat free» Thursdays with entertainment by Happy Dan the Magic Man in the evening. Good food, friendly service, and kids eat free — it’s a winner!

Me and my fiancé Brad had our engagement party catered by Rudy’s. The food was AMAZING, the owners were super friendly and they made sure to be on top of things while serving guests at the party. I would recommend this catering service to everyone!

Classless establishment. I watched at least 10 people walk out of this place including me while I was there. Definitely not a place to take a family. Owner was drinking with a group of people, that were yelling vulgar things and vulgar actions. I was there to watch Duke play Wisconsin in the national championship. Burger wasn’t bad, but the fries were terrible. There are plenty of places in Apex that provide a much better experience.

Rudy’s is a local hangout with American Bar food and the choice to order up if you want a more extravagant meal for lunch or dinner. Private booth seating or Long community seating area great for large sport event viewing. Poker night is always fun and Owners are friendly and staff also goes above and beyond service reqs. I miss the Video games and if hit the lottery will buy a 1989 Airwolf console for this bar.

Tonight was the fourth or fifth time we’ve had dinner at Rudy’s in the past two years. It was always surprisingly good food and decent service. But something has changed. New logo and menu that has been downgraded to mostly bar food. Gone is the Bison Burger, my husband’s old favorite. The chicken wings that used to be huge and fried perfectly were small and lame tonight… After waiting an HOUR to receive them(after our meals arrived). Service all around us was terrible. Several couples got up and left. What happened to this place? We will never go back.

my girlfriend told me that she had been there twice, and both times were very bad experiences. the first time the food was sub-par and the service was horribly slow. the second time she went with her daughter, they waited for 10 minutes and never was greeted so they left. she decided to give it one more shot before she totally ruled it out. sad to say, it was not an experience i think i(or we) want to repeat. when we walked in, we were greeted and told to have a seat anywhere we’d like and someone would greet us, so we sat at a booth. the television at our booth had food particles on the screen and there was catsup all on the edge of the table left form the previous party that no one wiped off when they cleared the table. so … 8 minutes later our server still hasn’t greeted us so my girlfriend had to get the attention of a waitress passing by before we were even noticed. from thereout, the service was good. but the food was really not all that good. my girlfriend’s daughter ordered pretzels that were well below average. i ordered a quesadilla that tasted like the filling of a pizza roll, and my girlfriend’s fries were not fresh … they were luke warm and a tad soggy. the only thing positive i can say about our experience was my girlfriend’s mozzarella and tomato sandwich, which was actually very good … almost amazing even. needless to say, we will not be going back … sorry.

Staff was friendly and helpful but didn’t get a feeling of being on a clean restaurant. Crumbs on the seat and window sill and table was wobbly. They have 45 cent wings on Tuesday but extra for carrots and celery. Blue cheese dressing was runny but carrots and celery were fresh. They have a variety of sauces, some require you sign a waiver because of their heat index. Seasoned veggies were mushy and salty but chicken fingers and fries came out nice and hot. A decent place if you want cheap wings and you want to watch a game.

Just got a really snarky, sarcastic, and insulting reply to my review from the OWNER. It only confirms that I was spot-on to begin with and explains why this place is terrible. You know, if your skin is that thin, you probably should find another line of work. And it was a takeout order; there was no server. Got home to open up the food and realize the burgers were hockey pucks. There is a place for laughing children and a bar isn’t one of them. It’s great you think that’s a blast and more power to you. Just doesn’t work for me, my friends, or my business clients, so I’ll go elsewhere. By the way, a classy, professional response would have been an apology and offer to come back, try you again, etc. Not you — you just insult your customers. Classy!

First and Last visit all because of $ 0.99. I decided to stop in at Rudy’s Bar and Grill after driving by many times while shopping at Harris Teeter in the same parking lot . The menu had a good selection of bar food and the beers available were actually quite plentiful. I ordered the Reuben and decided to get the sweet potato fries with it. The sandwich is really good and the fries actually were nice and crisp not soggy at all. I decided I needed to dip the fries in something so I ordered barbecue sauce and honey mustard which came in very tiny plastic cups. My server was very attentive made sure that as soon as my Beer was about to be finished I got another one and when I asked for the check it came in a very timely fashion. This is when my experience went from good, actually very pleasant to bad. On my check I noticed that I received two separate charges one for the barbecue sauce and one for the honey mustard each for $.99. The sandwich and fries cost $ 11 therefore the sauce to dip my fries in was another 20% up charge. It seems to me that if you’re going to offer fries you should offer condiments to dip those fries in and the only condiments offered for free were Texas Pete and yellow mustard neither of which I wanted to put on my fries. At this moment I have zero plans to return to this establishment based on the fact that I was charged $.99 for a teaspoon and a half of a condiment that I should’ve gotten for free. According to my server this was not her policy but a policy of the restaurant.
