Today’s Pizza

I went by reviews and was very disappointed, breadsticks are a plain pizza crust, not to mention over cooked… pizza was hot but very bland!, never again, just being truthful, lesson learned.

Today’s Pizza is by far the best I’ve had in this local area, they are professional and this will he our go to pizza place for years.

Staying at Courtyard Marriott — we ordered 2 pizzas on special on Saturday night (halloween in fact) around 10:45pm. They were delivered promptly (less than 30 minutes), a great deal and excellent!
Go for this instead of the franchise pizza! Ignore the prior review from Kathryn L. order with confidence…

Wings are ok. Pizza is eh. The hubs and I ordered pizza/​wings after some family stopped by. When the pizza came my husband went to get it, the delivery guy handed him the pizza and my husband handed his credit card to pay. The delivery guy suggested he bring the pizza inside while he was still holding onto the card (yes, our bad judgement/​decision) and a few hours later we had a fraudulent charge, $ 60 for online Sony (prob for Playstation online playing). FYI.

My wife and I ordered the fried chicken. It was better than most places in Annapolis. Could use a little seasoning. The Gyros and pretty good too. We will order here again.

Pretty Good subs… not sure about the pizza, but the chicken cheese steak and regular chees steak’s are good… the 8″ is plenty, 12″ are huge.

Just spent money on the worlds greasiest pizza. Hardly any sauce as well on it.
Never eating here again.

They’re open till 2:00 AM — score! The other reviews are hilarious, BTW! I mean, really. I thought that I was the only ecstatic semi-​drunk person to stumble upon this gem, but apparently not. Thank you fellow Unilocalers for leading me here. Don’t worry, I had a designated driver ;-)
We’ve had the Philly cheese steak pizza, same ol’ pepperoni, and fries a few times. YUMMY IN MY TUMMY! And I am not saying that because of the libations flowing through my veins. The pizza really is good. DISCLAIMER: It is not THE BEST pizza you’ll ever eat. But, when it is 2:00 AM, and you’re hungry, and Denny’s is filled with «the weird crowd», this is your best bet.
Not a «let’s sit down and have a fancy dinner» kind of place. You will not find knife and forks, or any tables for that matter. I guess you could eat your pizza as you sit awkwardly on one of their benches, if that’s your thing. I like to sprawl in my own house with PJs and my pizza on a table, so I take my food to-​go.
Definitely worth a try, preferrably when you’re not tipsy, so you can taste what you’re actually scarfing down. Yes, you will be scarfing it down. Enjoy!

Ordered pizza, steak and cheese, and meatball sub and had it delivered to our room. Service was fast and food was delicious,. Great pizza and steak and cheese was AWSOME! A lot of meat on the subs, pizza was great. Nice to have good late night delivery food. Highly recommend them

These guys do a great fast pizza. Garlicky crust and pickup price is very reasonable. You can also get gyro meat just by asking. If you want something exotic, you can stop across the street at WF and they’ll put that on your pizza.

I was out and about doing some holiday shopping, got a craving for ooey-​gooey cheese pizza, did a quick Unilocal search to see what was nearby and had good reviews, and opted for Today’s Pizza.
I called to place a carryout order, and was impressed with their specials… excellent prices! The man on the phone was a little difficult to understand, but we were eventually able to figure each other out and place my order. I was told it would be ready in about 15 minutes, so I headed that way.
Upon arrival, I first noticed that there is VERY limited parking. I actually took one of the spaces for the shoe repair place next door (despite their sign threatening the loss of my vehicle for such an infraction… I like to live life dangerously), went in, got my pizza that was ready as promised, and headed back out. Whew! made it!
The smell was delicious, and my stomach started growling as soon as the car door was closed. My dog (backseat driver) thought it smelled pretty good too, as he started trying to climb into the front seat with me. THAT was a fun drive home! As soon as we walked in the door at home (a VERY long 10 minutes later!) I opened the box to sample this new wonder. The first couple of bites were delicious… exactly what I had hoped for. But on about the third bite, I noticed something… different. I couldn’t put my finger on it at first, but eventually I came to the conclusion that it tasted like chili powder. Not a terrible taste, but not what I was expecting, and honestly not really a welcome addition to my pizza.
I thought maybe it was just my imagination, so when my cousin arrived later that afternoon, I had him taste test it as well, and he had the same opinion… definitely tasted like chili powder. So in the end, although it started out good, the chili powder flavor was enough of a let-​down that the leftover pizza ended up in the trash (OK, maybe one piece was fed to the mutt), instead of being savored as leftover pizza is meant to be. Based on that, I wouldn’t turn down a slice if it was offered to me, but I also won’t go out of my way to get pizza here again.

Today’s Pizza is, simply put, awesome. Their pizza is absolutely delicious, with tangy sauce and a veritable rainbow of tasty toppings to choose from. One of the reasons why I love them so much is because I love grilled chicken on my pizza and they are the ONLY place I will order pizza with chicken on it from (tried it from Dominos and Pizza Hut. .. Never again. Blegh!)
.. . Speaking of which, their fried chicken is excellent, too! The fries that come with it are hit or miss, but really, the chicken is so good, I keep coming back for more either way.
Their service is prompt, their servers are courteous and the food is always delivered hot. I can not recommend this place highly enough: D

We decided to take a chance on a local pizza shop that delivers, and we are happy we did. we used the online ordering which was easy to use. food arrived at the time quoted and still very hot. overall the two pizzas and wings were very good and better than most chains. we are happy to say that we have found our new goto for delivered pizza.

Typically I will order from one of the chain pizza places when I am craving pizza. But after a few failed attempts at the Annapolis chain pizza delivery places, I expanded my search to a local place. Today’s Pizza has everything and has become my staple pizza delivery place. Customer service is always awesome and the food has been delivered hot every single time! A must-​try place!

I love today’s. Hands down, my favorite pizza in Annapolis. I don’t know anyone who has tried it who hasn’t been impressed. One of the best pizza delivery in my opinion, and certainly better than the Pizza Huts and Dominos. Not sure what it is, their pizza just tastes amazing. When friends from out of town come to visit, they always want Todays! Bread sticks with cheese are a MUST. Their subs, fries and salads are pretty good too. The only other pizza delivery that beats this place is Delia’s, but they are in Sterling VA. Hooray Today’s! And, they even deliver till like 2 or 3am, AND have the best carry out special, which I can’t remember what that is at the moment.

I decided to try Today’s pizza since I was looking to find an alternative to the large chains. Unfortunately, this pizza was terrible. Brian is right about the sauce it has a funky aftertaste. Not to mention the delivery took over an hour and therefore the pizza was barely warm. I would recommend sticking with Papa Johns, better pizza and much faster service.

Great pizza! Ingredients are noticeably fresh unlike most chain pizza stores. Mmm. the gyro pizza is delicious. Veggie is also really good, as are the cheesesteaks. Quality is pretty impressive for a seemingly regular looking pizza place.
