I love this place, great service, great food. Love the crab pretzel and fried pickles to start. I had the hot pastrami on Swiss it was the best ever. Indoor and outdoor seating is available too. I highly recommend this place.

Been here three times, never had a bad meal. in particular, loved the BBQ sandwich, the cream of crab soup and ESPECIALLY the reasonably price softshell crab sandwich. It’s definitely close quarters — nearby Boatyard is a more«comfortable» restaurant. But, a little coziness never hurt anyone, and I do think the food here is a bit better than the Boatyard. We look forward to coming back again soon.

Took a trip to Davis’ Pub last week and think I found my new local hangout! As other have stated… tourists please don’t find this gem! Having never ventured to Eastport before, I have to say this place is tucked away nicely! Perfect little neighborhood restaurant, casual, full of energy, and no frills delicious food. Started with some steamed shrimp which were great, though the best part(that not a lot of places do) was the onions that came with it, steamed to perfection and coated in Old Bay… mmmm! The girlfriend got the soft shell sandwich(the LAST one they had for the day too, I was jealous) and I had a crabcake sandwich. Both were just plain awesome. No fancy sauces or brioche buns here… soft shell came on white bread– like it’s supposed to! Both came with nice crispy fries and some good creamy coleslaw. I have zero complaints(other than the fact that I missed out on the soft shell, but there’s always next time) about this place. Love it. Keep it up guys, we will certainly be back for more.

Wow! I am not a huge crabcake fan but I had one here and it was delicious. Also got the veggie tray which was well worth it. New favorite spot.

Love coming to Davis pup. A favorite locals place. We took our family here for lunch and it was a great experience. No tables were available when we got here, but the host was super friendly and started us outside(where it was a little cool) and moved us inside as soon as a table was ready. The service was good too. All of their sandwiches are perfect for lunch, especially for the price. Abd pro tip, definitely add the onions to the French dip.

We love the pub for outside dining. The food is pub food… not going to win any culinary awards but it’s above average for pub food. It’s a great little neighborhood bar where you will always be welcomed. Dogs are permitted when the outside is open… and you’ll usually find quite a few on a nice night. So if you bring your dog, you may want to make sure they’re dog friendly :) I often pick Davis’ Pub, not for any reason in particular but because it’s a feel good place that I enjoy visiting.

I heard about Davis’ Pub from a friend. I was looking for a relaxing place with good food. I was not disappointed! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was incredible, and the server on the patio, I think her name was Erin, was so sweet and friendly. She made me feel like I belonged, even with being a newbie to Davis’. I must say I fell in love and definitely plan on returning every chance I get.

A fun local staple of Eastport Annapolis that’s always busy yet enjoyable. Staff is awesome and the food never disappoints. It’s like the ‘Cheers’ of this area and I’m fat ass ‘Norm’ sittin at the end of the bar always well taken care of! 5 stars!

It unfortunately took until I was almost three quarters finished with my grilled chicken sandwich to realize that it was pink on the inside. I’m now reaping the consequences of that. If you order the chicken, be sure to cut into it before eating.

All tourists in Annapolis, please stay away!!! The place is not good the beer is too expensive, stay at Dock street and Armadillo’s and O“Brien’s parking is horrible Don’t go here. Good nie that they’re gone here’s the honest review: Best little dive bar in east port. Staff is amazing, friendly, & helpful when deciding on a beer or which app to chow down on. Sandwiches and burgers are delicious, and decent beer menu. I need to come back for the wings so this post may be updated. All in all this bar is perfect only complaint is the bar is not walking distance to my house… Thank god for über!!!

This is the quintessential neighborhood pub. I love this spot and will most likely upgrade them to a five once I have dinner here! We had drinks here while waiting for our reservation at another place. We sat at the bar since it called to us as two seats opened up just as we walked in. The bartenders were very attentive and helpful. We ordered drinks and an order of buffalo chicken wings. My drink was very generously proportioned and the chicken wings were delicious. My only complaint would be that the wings portion was a little smaller than I’d hoped for at $ 9.50 but I love this place non the less. I’ll definitely be back here and recommend giving them a try. This place rocks!

Only had a drink so I can’t speak to the food, but the atmosphere is worth it. It’s small, comfortable. It’s smack dab in the middle of the charming neighborhood of Eastport. A small house converted to a quaint pub. Will definitely come back to sample the bar food.

Come here. If you’re coming to Annapolis to eat(unless you’re eating hardshell crabs) come to Davis’ Pub instead of wherever you’re thinking. Phenomenal food at fantastic prices. We came here on a Saturday night at 8pm and got a table immediately. It was extremely crowded but not uncomfortably so. Appetizer: I try to try crab dip wherever I go(on a coastal town) that has it on the menu. Crab dip is usually $ 12-$ 14, cut that price in half and you’re at Davis’ Pub. Astounding crab dip at a reasonable price. My boyfriend and I both had fish & chips for dinner and the portions are enormous. You could survive on an entrée for a week. We regret not sharing(but not that much). Come here for the awesome food and casual atmosphere. It won’t disappoint.

Went to Davis’s Pub last night. I live in Eastport and work in DC. Have to confess that I like cold beer… and great food… and if it is cheap cold beer… and cheap great food… I am very happy. Add all of these things together with a warm and casual environment and I am all good. I read one review below where the reviewer said that the place is full of old men. Davis’s is not a singles bar so to expect it to be packed to the rafters with young hotties is going to create some disappointment. There is a nice mix of people but most go to Davis’s to escape exactly what that reviewer was seeking. The high points for me are: 1.Great food 2. Nice patrons(being nice to others is like an unspoken rule) 3. Great service(waiting staff is the best in Annapolis, regardless of price range) 4. Outside seating If the points above are not what you are looking for… go downtown and there are plenty of young singles that just became legal drinkers to satisfy that need too. Or go to one of the chain restaurants out of town if you want a generic experience. Best items on the menu are: Deconstructed Nachos(only McGarvey’s come close) Crab Pretzel(no one comes close) Jalapeño Deviled Eggs(My mother didn’t get close to this one) If you like friendly pubs you couldn’t do any better.

Bottom Line: A small, local hangout that is big on service and serves delicious pub fair. Davis’ Pub is a wonderful gem tucked away in Eastport. Here is what makes Davis’ Pub one of the highest ranked restaurants in Annapolis: — Super friendly staff. Immediately upon approaching the front entrance we were greeted. Davis’ if you are reading this, please know how much I liked that you were standing outside, readily available to welcome your guests. Also, our waitress was very warm and friendly too. Our waitress, as well as the water guy, were very attentive and perhaps that is one of the benefits of dining at a small establishment. — I wouldn’t quite classify this as a dive bar, but it is very casual and low-key which I like. It’s just comfortable and easy-going. If the weather is nice, there are lots of(picnic) tables outside, some with a view of the water. — As many know, Davis’ Pub was featured by Guy Fieri’s on «Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.» While sometimes I am not wowed by Guy’s picks, I must say that the crab pretzel is amazing! Other selections are good too but that pretzel is a must. — For libations, they make a good Orange Crush and have some local beers on hand. On my recent visit I enjoyed Jailbreak Brewery’s «Welcome to Scollville» Jalapeño IPA. (As Seen on TV: Food network’s «Diners, Drives and Dives.»)

Shrimp were good, but I think they counted the weight of the onions in the ½lb. Crab cakes were crabby. A little more filler than I like but better than most. Good flavor & texture. Fries are a great substrate for ketchup. Do not attempt to eat them without adding flavor. Dark’n Stormy is amazing. I think I’ll get another.

Being a huge fan of «Diners, Drive-in’s, and Dives» and with the previous reviews I had high hopes for this place. The establishment is literally a shack looking building next to homes. These are the places that always have the best food, so again my hopes were only increasing. Inside was nice and cozy and warm. The patrons inside seemed to know everyone and the staff was very friendly, stopping to talk to most tables about their lives and family. Great first impression! The food however wasn’t as great as I built it up in my mind to be. I had the crab balls and although they were good, it isn’t anything that I would go back for. It had a good flavor and wasn’t overly fried which I liked, but it could have used alot more crab. My fiancé had a burger that looked AMAZING though. It was a burger with pepperjack, jalapenos, bacon stufed inside of the patty. When he bit into the burger, all of the cheese and stuffing literally oozed out creating a gross yet delicious looking mess. He loved the burger, but stated that the fries were disappointing. He stated that for a place to go out of the way for such a creative and delicious burger they could have put some effort into fries and not just ones that appeared to be frozen. The food and pub overall was good and I’m glad I had to chance to stop by and check it out for myself. Just dont get you expectations up too high.
