The Nail Salon

My boyfriend and I got pedicure done, great overall experience. such a warm family feel, with a relaxing saltwater fish tank. They really took their time and removed the calluses. Our feet are baby smooth. The foot massage was amazing. My new favorite nail salon in Ann Arbor.

My pedicure was fine. My mother-​in-​law shellac nails that are good and her manicurist was very friendly and nice.
My sister-​in-​law, however, was very uncomfortable as her pedicurist seemed very into her, and it was inappropriate. He complimented her eyes — okay, she said thank you and moved on. But he also tried to stare into her eyes while he massaged her, excessively. To the point that I had to tell him to get moving and paint her nails so we could get going. We originally scheduled to get manicures as well and bailed because the situation made us so uncomfortable. I wish I had said more at the time and the further away from it we get the more angry and agitated I am. It is beyond gross that he would use an opportunity like that to hit on someone. He is being paid to perform a service that includes putting his hands on other people and he abused it. If I knew anyone’s names I would call him out but we wanted to get out of there and it wasn’t the first thing on my mind at the time.
Shame on him for taking advantage of that situation. I hope for other customers’ sake that it was an isolated incident but if not I hope others speak up because it is the kind of thing that women are constantly told is «just a compliment,» which is bullshit.

Mike and Kim are so wonderful and welcoming! They always do such a wonderful job on my nails. They may be a drive away however it is worth the drive!

I had an appointment here because it was close to my house. I was very satisfied with first visit! I got my nails and eyebrows done by Kim. She was very friendly and took her time despite a tornado warning! Definite props for not rushing and trying to get out of there. Overall, the place seemed very clean and welcoming. I will definitely be returning.

Kim and Mike, the owners of this family operated business, are so nice and professional. Great services. Pedicures are $ 25 and they have nice chairs, a wide selection of colors, and take their time during each appointment. Manicures are $ 16 and Shellac manis are $ 25. Very clean. Would definitely recommend checking this place out! It is now my «usual» nail salon of choice. :)
