Paul was fantastic. He did such an excellent job on my nails. He was super attentive, asked lots of questions, and made sure I was happy with the result. I loved that he was super vigilant about me keeping my hands under the nail dryer/uv light. Result: picture perfect manicure. My boyfriends mother had the owner. She did a pretty great job from what I saw and from the reports! My boyfriend’s sister… well…her nail tech did a pretty shorty job, unfortunately. Cut her nails down too short. Then proceeded to file the skin. And for the life of the girl, she had zero nail art talent. She was sweet. I’ve found a place to get my nails done while in town. It’s important to note: CASHTIPONLY.

Very happy with this place and place to make this my go to nail place. I got a pedicure done and it was great. Staff is very friendly and the salon is very clean. I love that they used gloves to give the pedicure and the tools came out of an autoclave bag. So far I am very happy and plan to return.

I had the best experience here a few weeks ago. I went for a mani/pedi and they really spent a lot of time with me. They actually massaged my legs and feet for at least 5 minutes per side. It was wonderful. I will go back!

I love nail spa studio!!! I’m always happy with my pedi’s, the service is great and everybody is always so friendly! It’s also always fun to see their super sweet dog, Coco, when she’s there!

I have been to this salon twice. The first time was a few years ago with my daughter. We had appointments. My daughter’s technician got started right on time. I sat for almost 20 minutes and waited. Finally someone showed up and got started on mine. The problem occurred when both of us were finished at the same time. My technician skipped a lot of things. Haven’t been back until today when I really needed a pedicure and I couldn’t get in anywhere else. I’m glad I gave them another chance. My past technician was there but not working(I think he may be an owner). Today I had a very nice young man who did a wonderful job; I got a relaxing massage and he didn’t rush through. My feet feel amazing. Honestly, it’s who you get I think. The dog was there too but i didn’t mind; he was friendly and well behaved.

I absolutely hate to give a negative review especially when it is for a local business but I also want anyone giving consideration to having nails done at this salon to be aware. I had Shellac put on my nails and the job was done quite well. I went back to have my nails redone which is when the problem occurred. My hands were put into a dish of acetone to soak off the Shellac. I had never had Shellac removed in this method before but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I soaked for about 10 minutes in the acetone and then the young man started scrapping away at the polish. I didn’t realize the damage until the polish was removed again, at another salon with small pads and foil, and found my nails had been damaged and were so thin that they could easily bend back. It has been five months and my nails have bent back and broken at the end of the nail until finally my nails are just now getting to the place where they are gaining strength. I will not use Shellac again on my nails and I like everyone in the salon, I just want to make sure others are aware of the service quality.

The salon itself is beautiful, the people who work there are the reason for the bad review. They’re EXTREMELY rude and not very creative. I’ve only been here twice(because it’s a mile away from my mother’s house) and I refuse to go back. The first time, he couldn’t do the simple design I wanted. He decided to do whatever he wanted. The second time he messed up my nails badly. I had to have him fix them not once, but twice. He was using profanity and even talked badly about me with the owner. The second time they made me wait when I had an appointment. On top of that, the owner said it was MY fault. Very unprofessional. I will never be desperate enough to go back. On top of everything else, there’s a huge dog roaming around. Not to mention they charged me 32 for a fill… my friend’s full set was 37.

I’m confused by all the bad comments. I’ve lived in Michigan for 6 years now. This was one of the first nail studios I’ve been too. I like this place the most over all the other competitors. The owner is very friendly, I don’t know where people are getting«rude» from. They are always friendly, specially to their older costumers. The prices are very reasonable. I love their special $ 40 for a mani/pedi. They also last for weeks, never had any chipping and I work in a Gymnastics Center, where there is a lot of hands-on spotting and moving equipment. The studio is also very clean and up to date. They always do a good job and if you’re unhappy with how something turned out they’ll fix it.

The lady that owns this place is just SO incredibly rude. I have tried numerous time’s(for convenience sake) to go in and have either a pedicure or some waxing… she leaves you just standing there when you walk in without even acknowledging you for at least 20 mins. On top of that she then has the audacity to treat you like a complete pain in the butt that’s interrupting her day and always tells you to come back at least 2−3hrs later… even when the place seems to be completely empty! Then, even when you DO come back she keeps you waiting again. Her giant dog is also always in the salon too which I’m not sure is entirely sanitary or appropriate for a salon. There are SO many other nail salons in the area that ALWAYS take walk ins happily, with a welcoming smile and good attitude. Apparently Nail Spa Studio’s just doesn’t care about customer satisfaction or need or want our business… which is a complete shame when in this economy we are all trying to support local business. I won’t be back.

I’m confused by the other reviewers. I’ve been going there for over a year with my friend and we have never had a problem. I think their pedicures are the best, and the last manicure I had lasted for weeks!

My mom and I stopped here for a quick mani/pedi. The salon is clean and decorated nicely. It was a Friday afternoon and they were steady but not too crazy so they were able to fit us right in. While we were getting our nails done and right after I was very happy with the whole experience. My nails looked good and they whole thing was very cheap $ 40. It wasn’t until a few days later that I became very unhappy. They had destroyed my cuticles so badly that I was in so much pain a few days later I had to wear Band-Aids over 2 of my fingers because I was afraid to leave them exposed. As my cuticles are susceptible to cracking, it was just me. That night my mother began complaining to me that her cuticles were so torn apart and hurt so bad. Though our nails looked nice at first it was not worth the pain. We both agreed that we would not go back there after that.
