What more can you say about $ 5 pizza. Since my hubs didn’t feel like cooking and we had remembered a combo deal from LC, we figured why not. Actually my hubs is a huge fan of LC(not sure if it’s being the same people who owns the Tigers owns LC or if it’s really the pizza) and would eat here every single day if he could. Growing up in Cali, I remember seeing LC inside KMarts and once those stores started closing, the solo LC stores were few and far between, so I really didn’t eat LC as much as I do now(thanks to my hubs). Anywho, the pepperoni pizza tonight was okay. The crust of the pizza overall, seemed to be thinner tonight, which I prefer and as you can see in the pics, greasy. Honestly, what can you ask of a $ 5 pizza pie? Yes, the cheese has a bit of a rubbery consistency, but I like the crispness of the cheese. It does it’s job… I usually get full off of two pieces. I usually look forward to their crazy bread but tonight’s bread was slightly disappointing. The breadsticks didn’t taste as it was cooked thoroughly and didn’t have enough shakey cheese. It’s never a good sign to me when I have to take the bread and dab it on the paper to try and get more cheese, to give the bread more flavor. The marinara sauce is pretty good and the amount they give is pretty good too. I would say there’s enough for each breadstick, but I guess if you take globs of sauce with each bite, it might not be enough for you. We took advantage of the pizza, bread and soda deal, with the total coming out to $ 9.54(tax included). Not bad for a quick dinner with leftovers!

Probably the worst pizza of the big national brands(and therefore, the world). They have some sort of cheese dispersal technique that puts the absolute minimum amount of cheese on the pie while spreading it evenly to make it look like there is more cheese than there actually is. I suspect a sauce dispersal technique as well, since the sauce is very sparse too.(spray-on?) Cheap, but still not a good value. I would appreciate the convenience of(even a low quality) hot and ready pizza, but after three visits, it hasn’t been hot or ready. Unapologetic employees are surly, at best.

They actually have $ 5(pre-tax) hot-and-readys here, unlike the Stadium Blvd location($ 5.55?!). But man, I love Little Caesars. And every time I’ve been there, there’s been a hot-and-ready for me. Four stars because I’ve had to wait up to 20 minutes for an order of wings though. I like their wings, but they said it would be just a few minutes. Not 20.

Hot and Ready? Pick one, you can’t have both. Rarely ready. Usually hot. There are generally 8 – 10 people waiting for their«ready» pizzas to be done. «It’s in the oven right now» is the mantra. «5 minutes» — don’t believe it.

Hot and Ready. Enough said. Don’t forget the crazy bread and sauce. Dinner for 2 – 3 for $ 9.
