Purchased a home in December, and they didn’t find an electrical issue that almost caused a house fire or plumbing drainage issues visible from standing above the drain. I have been trying to get them to cover the $ 1,700 in repair bills since December with no luck… stay away! If this had been found before the home purchase, we could have possibly negotiated a lower purchase price! In addition, my lawyer sent them proof of these issues from a licensed electrician and plumbing company, but still nothing!!! BEWARE!!!

I used Pat and Dan at Integrity Inspection for our recent purchase in Ann Arbor. Unfortunately, we had to have two homes inspected within a short period of time (first home’s foundation needed complete replacement, and sellers weren’t willing to work with us). However, what that means is that I can reliably say that in my two experiences with using them both for our home inspection and radon test that the experience was wonderful.
Pat did the actual inspection and he was very thorough (without being alarmist) and found issues with the chimney after he had crawled into the crawl space and attic to take photos. We have purchased a home before this and I have to say this is the best inspector I’ve worked with. He was on time, professional, walked me through his report and got an electronic copy of the inspection to us within hours of departure.
