I’ve used the drive thru here numerous times. It is always very speedy. The food is always correct, hot, and good. The people working have always been friendly. No complaints & a great price.

Abelardo’s is probably the fastest growing Mexican fast food joint in the metro area! For good reason too, their food is great! This is not your Americanized Mexican food such as Taco Bell or Taco Johns, this is a fast version of a Mexican restaurant!
They have a drive-​thru which makes for quick and easy access to delicious food. Try their fried tacos, they are one of the best items on the menu in my option. Next would be their platters which have real tender meats!
Staff is friendly and it is a great casual place to eat-​in as well. They are also one of the only eateries in town that opens slightly «late».

I’ve seen some great reviews for this place so I thought I’d give it a shot for lunch.
I went to the drive through. I decided on the #7. For the price, I figured I couldn’t go wrong for the amount of food promised. The asked me to pull up to the window. I waited for less then 5 minutes for them to make my food and get it to me.
When I got back to work and opened the container, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount they give you. There were 2 large beef and bean burritos, rice and beans. They also included 2 red and 2 green containers of hot sauce, a fork and napkins.
I tried the red, which was just enough for a lunch. The burritos were very good wrapped in fresh tortillas. The beans and rice were good as well.
I’ll definitely be bringing the rest of the family here soon as I’m sure they’ll enjoy it as much as I did!

Stopped in and went through the drive thru for a quick lunch. The fish tacos were good but loaded with onion in the pico. The rolled tacos were super crispy and really good! They were able to substitute all beans instead of beans and rice which is so worth it! The tortillas were fluffy but a bit dense. The guacamole was a bit spicy and was almost over powered by the jalapeño juice put in it. And their pico again had tons of onions. But the flavor was good. Especially if you dip the rolled tacos in the beans. And the fish tacos were packed with fish.
Staff was nice and pretty speedy for fresh food. Drive thru was easy to get in and out of.
Overall this will be a do again place!
This is good border style Mexican food!

I have no idea why anyone waits for 30 minutes at taco bell. The burritos here are the bomb. I get one every week. The food is fair price. And filling. You never have to wait to long. If you like a good burrito. Then this is the place to go.

This place is awesome. I’m from Southern California which has great Mexican food, And this place is almost identical! Great California burritos and carne asada nachos! If you like good burritos or great drunk/​hangover food… this is your place!!! Give them your business!!!

Tried a second time… Better! Tried to order the chorizo breakfast burrito but they were out. Ended up with a steak and egg burrito which was huge! Their hot sauce is good but not hot when you like HOT. Queso is also very good. Fast drive thru and friendly service.

Abelardo’s is by far the freshest, most authentic Mexican drive-​thru restaurant! They seem to cook the food fresh right when you order. I’ve had the taquitos, the tacos, the shrimp, and the breakfast ham omelet — all were delicious. The steak nacho’s are huge, filled with lots of flavorful meat. The staff will speak to you in Spanish or English, which makes it kind of fun. They have free wifi inside the restaurant and a frequent visitor card which entitles you to a free burrito after 6 visits. There are plenty of menu choices. They are open from 11 am until 9 pm in this location. Breakfast is served all day. Oh, and the Bavarian cream– filled churros are wonderful. Drive through and inside seating available.
