Stopped in here yesterday. I was happy to see they are still here. So many Businesses do not make it through the Winter here downtown. With the High rent and not many tourists visiting it is tough. But, they are still going and still on the first Level of the 5th Ave. mall. They always offer and samples and any help you might need in choosing. I mixed 3 flavors, the Dole Pineapple was very flavorful! I got several toppings including the Boba pearls. Which are very refreshing. Such an unusual item they are. But, very fresh and nice flavor. My total was a little over $ 6.00. they offered me a lid and bag which I accepted as I was taking it back to my hotel. It was still cold and in great shape when I got back to my room. So worth a try on a long day of Shopping.

If you’re looking for great milk bubble tea, Peachwave has the best & only in Anchorage. Many places have the boba, but don’t offer the straight up tea and/or flavoring in it. I stop here every time I come to the 5th Ave Mall. Highly recommended.

Peachwave used to be my go to when I worked in the mall. Now that I’m back I decided I needed to start going back. The yogurt is as good as I remember, maybe even better, but it’s pretty disgusting there’s tons of tiny flies buzzing around your hand after scooping up some fruit.

I’m a frequent boba drinker and their boba drinks are decent. There’s not much flavor to the milk tea and the boba balls are too chewy and pasty to fully enjoy. If this was the only boba shop around, I’d continue to go here only to meet my boba needs but since they’re other competitors, I’m more than likely to try them next time in search of better boba.

Located inside the mall, there were about few boba places in this mall(surprisely) but we gave this one a try. Being from California, their boba drinks here are actually not that bad. It was actually good, I loved how soft the boba was. Their menu is quite extensive– they have ice cream, smoothies, yogurt, and boba drinks with few different flavors. The only downside was that the Asian guy worker was busy on his phone. Other than that, it was a good opportunity to try boba drinks in Alaska haha.

The only thing holding them back is more flavors. The strawberry and cheesecake flavors were great, I just prefer more variety. It’s a small spot in the mall, so I cant knock them too much since space is limited. I would go again.

This isn’t my favorite froyo place, but it works. It’s pretty expensive(I think it was around 60 cents an ounce when I went), and the staff can be a bit patronizing at times. However, the yogurt selection is really good! They seem to constantly rotate flavors. There are also a ton of toppings, but I agree with the reviewer who said they have a waxy taste. That aside, the mochi is absolutely fantastic. It has just the right amount of squishiness. The smoothies are also pretty good :)

Checked out this place today. And gotta say their tapioca balls are very yummy ! I came from California and I’ve had many tapioca balls [boba] and certainly one of the best ones. Tried the milk tea with almonds with boba, super tasty! Excellent service and fast if that. Very happy ! One thigh I recommend tho is they should have Thai tea,

You know what these places are like — pick a cup, select a flavor, add some toppings, nom-nom-nom. The store is clean, and the staff friendly. They will readily offer you a sample if you want one. Yogurt variety is typical — you should be able to find one you like. The toppings are my biggest«knock» on the place. The crumbled cookies /peanut butter cups /etc. are knock-off brands. The cheesecake and cookie dough bits are those small, bland, pre-processed«balls» like you find in some ice creams. If you bought a bag of their chocolate chips at the grocery store, the bag would say: «REALCHOCOLATE(flavored) CHIPS(artificially flavored)». Think fake, waxy textures and tastes. My guess is they are using the absolute cheapest source to supply the candied toppings, and it shows. Unilocal has two stars equivalent to «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» That’s the perfect summary for this place.

Found this place on the bottom floor of 5th ave mall. The clerk was helpful & offered free samples of flavors. Coconut was rich & creamy, but settled on cheesecake because hubby liked more. Fair variety of toppings, not huge amounts like I’ve seen in similar places, but all the faves, I choose white choc chips, my fave with fro yo. Yes, price is $$, but worth satisfying my craving. And napkins are readily available unlike some other fro yo places I’ve been! I’ll be back when passing through again.
