This is really a cruel trick to play on tourists! Almost five dollars for a scoop of ice cream you can get a lot cheaper at any other shop??! I’ve been here a few times over a couple of years(thinking for some dumb reason it’ll improve) and every time the ice cream tastes and feels like it was melted then refrozen. Every flavor I have had was either soupy or tacky and gritty with ice. Don’t even bother. There are other places downtown you can go to for decent ice cream that’ll give you more for your five bucks.

I was really looking forward to eating some actual Alaskan ice cream. When you walk in they are very nice and the shop is pretty nice. They offer free tasting on as many ones as you want with no pressure at all. The problem is the product. The flavors are not very special and the textures are not right in my opinion.

Overpriced plain ice cream $ 4.95/scoop is ridiculous. Go to marble slab or cold stone, at least there you’ll have variety and flavorful ice cream.

I’m a huge fan of homemade ice cream, however, this place didn’t wow me. While the names of the ice creams are cute, you really have to ask what they are made of. The price is decent. If I’m downtown I may come try them out again just to give them another shot, otherwise, not my fav in anchorage.

Great summer treat in Downtown, Anchorage. Tourists would love to visit this little ice-cream parlor. The local favorite is the«Fireweed» ice cream. However, their other delicious flavors will satisfy those summer cravings. Banana Walnut + Strawberry, my go-to combo. The banana complimented by the walnut gives it a perfect kick with my usual favorite, classic strawberry. Killer combo. They are also very generous with their servings. The«baby-size» is a decent size, not too big, not too small. Definitely check this place out!

A wonderful reward at the end of Tony Knowles bike trail. The ice cream is delicious, and the portions are generous. Try one of their fruitier flavors and pair it with something creamy. This place is a must for ice cream lovers visiting(or living in) anchorage.

Just opened Saturday, May 17. Good ice cream — 28 flavors. They have plenty of free samples — really nice servers. Local ice cream(not super creamy, but still good). A little on the pricey side, but cheaper than coldstone. They have a few toppings, but the ice cream is yummy enough that you don’t really need it.
