Amazing little shop in the mall, with wonderful oils and vinegars. Lots of things to taste test, and many great looking condiments and appetizers. I’ll say a lot of the stuff is pretty pricey, but that’s to be expected with a store like this. The staff are friendly, and helpful the owner is pretty cool too. Overall, we loved the store and will definitely be going back for more of that amazing Smoky Garlic grape seed oil and to try many more.

My mom has been raving about your store. We finally scheduled a shopping trip just for your store and I have to say it didn’t disappoint! Not only are the products amazing with a fair and reasonable price but the customer service was fantastic! Each and every employee was happy to help us, gave personal recommendations, seemed happy to help with each request. Honestly, customer service seems to be lacking these days but your store is one of the few that is not lacking. In fact, stores should look to you to model the experience. Bravo!

Can I just say how impressed I am with this store.
Since this store had opened up here two years ago, I often passed it. However, I won’t be any longer. My brother is big into oils and dips. Thanks to Brett (I really hope this is his name), I was able to find the perfect gift for my brother.
If you are a foodie, you will want to take a step food into this store.
They offer a ton of different oils, herbs, dips and types of pasta — to include garlic and gluten free products. If they do not have a sample available, they will easily open a product for you to try out. Every person in there is super knowledgeable on their products, their contents and even where their stores are located at.

I accidentally mixed vinegars while taste testing and your employee verbally attacked me, sorry I mixed them Jesus Christ and she was on my ass the whole time I was in that store pointing out everything I’m doing wrong while I’m taste testing, I’m a grown adult and I felt so uncomfortable in your store. I will never go in that store ever ever again. I wouldn’t intentionally try to mix fucking vinegars. she acted like me being there was so inconvenient. I was trying to find something for my mother and you ruined my whole experience. I’ll take my business else where. I would rather buy vinegar at my local Fred Meyer. She hovered over me like a child. I just ran out she embarrassed me so bad in front of all those customers. Good vinegar but that employee just ruined everything for me. Vibe was so KILLED she was so RUDE

Neat place in the mall with huge artisan selection of olive oil, balsamic vinegars, and other specialties. Huge selection of oils to sample, and I like the bulk area where you can customize how much quantity you want. It’s also interesting to hear the staff talk about the characteristics/origin of the olive oils.

Oil & Vinegar in the 5^th Avenue Mall is a great place to go if you are looking for a special gift for someone or if you really do love different types of oil and vinegar. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they have a display of samples with bread for dipping. If you want to try something that isn’t out for sample, just ask a sales person and they will get it for you.

I saw this had just opened recently in the 5^th Ave. Mall in downtown Anchorage.
There are not a lot of different shops in Anchorage, so it is always exciting to have a new shop open here.
I knew about this place because, Lindsey f. had Unilocaled the one in Scottsdale, other wise I may not of gone in.
Wow, was I glad that I did. What a wonderful store. Samples were out everywhere, with all sorts of things to try. Sauce, Olive Oil, mustard, crackers, & vinegar, all sorts of things.
They offer helpful suggestions and tips for cooking with these amazing items.
I thought it was a great addition to the mall and downtown Anchorage.
They are open Mon=Friday 10am till 9pm, Saturday 10 – 8:00. and Sunday 11am till 6pm.
It is very much worth a look inside and a sample. I think you will really enjoy your time here and what every you purchase.
