Zito’s Pizza

I ordered a cold sandwich and it took exactly 20 mins. and I am not exaggerating. When I asked if it usually takes 20 mins for a sandwich the young man replied with «we’re really busy.» Frankly, I don’t care how busy it is, 20 mins for a simple turkey sandwich is not acceptable in my book. I could’ve gone to the Vons right there, bought all the same ingredients, and made the sandwich faster myself. The sandwich was good, I’ll give it that. But not amazing and not worth the 8-​plus dollars.

I eat here often but never order the pasta. Ordered 3 pasta dishes tonight and they are all disgusting. The worst pasta I have ever eaten in my life. It’s pasta. Not rocket science. How hard is it to cook noodles? All of the dishes had over cooked noodles. It felt like we were eating a pile of hot mush. I called to let them know about it and TJ seemed more bothered than apologetic. Don’t order the pasta here. It’s nasty! I’ve never left a review on Unilocal until today and I use Unilocal on a daily basis. If you can’t cook pasta don’t offer it on the menu. It’s not that hard.

Came here for the first time today. I go to Santiago Canyon College and came here for lunch before my next class. It was empty, nobody there. My boyfriend and I ordered and waited. Five separate parties came in AFTER us and all received their food BEFORE us. We asked if it was almost ready because I had to go back to school soon. An employee told us it was coming out right then. We waited almost 35 minutes for a California turkey sandwich and an order of Zito’s Irish potatoes only to be extremely disappointed. The menu said the wedges came with cheddar cheese. There was hardly any, and not even melted. The wedges on top were hot but the bottom ones were hard, almost crunchy, and COLD. This place looked so promising and delicious! I’m so disappointed!

I practically grew up at this pizza joint… it’s the BEST! Hand crafted pizzas, huge selection of salads, subs, pasta, and even an arcade. The employees are very friendly and on top of things.
I highly recommend their BBQ chicken pizza. Meatball subs are especially delicious as well.

Zitos is the place to go for kids team parties & delicious garlic knots & meatball subs. Pizza is a little greasy but the kids loved it. All in all its good. The atmosphere is loud. Hard to watch my hockey game. Small kids arcade.

Stopped in for a early dinner and had the spaghetti and meat balls. The service was quick. Our drinks came out fast. The food was good and hot. The meat balls were good sized; most places give you small ones, not here. The pasta was a good portion also. Altogether the food was really good. The place seemed clean and well taken care of. There was a few TV’s around. We got to watch the Ducks hockey game. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I have eaten here several times. Good location. Plenty of TV’s to watch sports. Prices are average. The pizzas have been great almost every time. The crust is firm and tasty. The ingredients are fresh. The cheese is unlike the god-​awful Domino’s Pizza-​types. The service is OK. Most of the workers are younger kids so they have no idea what service is, which is not surprising.

Been here twice now and we’ve left happy both times. Pizza is delicious. Dough is not too thick and not too thin. Good amount of cheese and toppings. They have really good beer selections. Big plus! I tried their antipasto salad the first visit and it was really good. There’s an arcade, clean restrooms, plenty of seating, and nice cashiers.
We would eat here more often but unfortunately we live a little far.

Zito’s pizza is really good. They are not going to be the cheapest but if you are looking for some really tasty pizza, look no further!

Wow great pizza. We had the Hawaiian, Meat Lovers and garlic knots. It was fantastic. With a 34oz beer fantastic. Family style seating, love it. Will be back.

Great pizza in this area. Came down to grab some pizza to go, and get some drinks. Ordering was fairly easy when reading the menu. I ordered the all meet one and it was pretty good. Packed with all the «healthy» protien anyone could ask for. Everyone liked it.
Drink selection is nice. A few buddies and I didn’t even make it through a pitcher before the pizza was done. Quick service here. Definitely will come where again, next time I am in the area.

Pizza here is great! Great combination on sauce and toppings. The crust is really well also. Stopped here after a wedding rehearsal and will have to make my way back this way. Salad also is well made and seasoned. The kids liked playing in the arcade they had. They have all the games in on the screens. Good for big parties and have booths for small families also. Try it out you won’t be disappointed.

I love this place! I actually think I come here too much. The only negative thing about this place is the cook who wears a hat all the time! He is so weird! He is ALWAYS staring at me when I come in to the point where I feel uncomfortable. I want to say something but I don’t want him to spit in my food. But beside his creeperness, this place is great!

Good pizza and salads. Huge dining room, which is great for large groups and teams. The food is cooked fresh and was uniformly good. The pitcher of Stella was $ 17, so beware of that… seems a bit pricey.

Great place to sit down with the family and enjoy a pizza! Place is a little hidden you have to access it by walking through an ally way (short walk). Place is clean and there’s plenty of seating. We ordered a buffalo sauce pizza and a vegetarian. The buffalo pizza was perfect! If you like spicy you will love x3 this pizza; please try it. The vegetarian pizza however was a huge disappointment with very little flavor, we found ourselves dragging it across the buffalo pizza tray and it helped. I look forward in going here again.

It’s solid pizza.
I like Zito’s and I really like this location. The pizza is good and the prices are pretty reasonable. I also didn’t get charged for ranch, so that’s a big plus.
We did carryout — and the carryout turnaround was quick and without issue. The guy who took the order and rang me up when I arrived was friendly. Our pizza was exactly as ordered and ready when I picked it up. Zito’s isn’t the most life changing pizza experience you’ll ever have, but it’s really good straightforward pizza. The inside seems like a good place to hang out and watch a game.
Some reviews cite consistency as an issue here, but so far so good for me. I’ll keep coming here.

This place is the bomb if you are looking for something close to a New York style pizza you need to come here and get yourself a slice it’s absolutely amazing.

Tucked away and hidden inside a shopping center next to a grocery store and a dry cleaners, you’ll find a local favorite called Zito’s New York Style Pizza.
The interior is wide open, with both booth and table seating available. If fresh air is your style, you can relax and eat in their outdoor patio.
We ordered a 16″ pepperoni pizza and a 34oz Firestone 805 beer. Pizzas are available by the slice, 8″, 12″, or 16″.
The pizza was well done, with a crisp crust that remained light and airy inside the edges. The sauce had a hint of sweetness to it. There was adequate cheese, but not so much that it overpowered the pizza.
After lunch, we spoiled ourselves with their cinnamon knots, which are available in half (12 pieces) or full orders (22 pieces). They also bake fresh cookies.
They also have garlic knots, but we wanted the sweet cinnamon knots this time instead. Next time, those garlic knots will be ours!
The beer selection is a mix of the big brands and local brews. Zito’s offers both draft and bottles, so pick wisely. You can get 16oz, 34oz, or a pitcher of your favorite draft beers.

They have a happy hour Monday to Friday from 3−6pm, which offers $ 2 off pitchers, $ 1.50 off 34oz, and $ 0.75 off 16oz beers. Wine corkage fees are $ 15 a bottle any time.

Zito’s has always been our go to for pizza until tonight… we ordered a medium cheese
Pizza and small spaghetti for $ 25.00. The pasta was good however the pizza was… not so good! Our Cheese pizza was totally overcooked and when we called to let the manager know she offered us a whopping 20% off our next order. Please see the photo to see that I am not exaggerating. Cheese was so hard that it made a sound when you tapped on it.

Taking out is easier
And better worth your time.
Over an hour for delivery,
Is a crime!
They have coupons.
They have a deal.
I keep coming,
Because those are real.
Overall, A-​OK, Sometimes it is super good and sometimes not. I wish they were more consistent.
