The owner and head instructor, Master Ken Hwang, is unlike any other. He is inspiring to watch as he works with children. Yet, he has been inspiring to watch and to train under, long before he had over three decades of teaching experience. He is an encyclopedia of martial arts knowledge, and importantly, of life skills for success that transcend self defense and sportsmanship. In his ability to teach this to kids, teens, and adults, lies the«creating leaders» mantra that most successful martial arts schools convey. Moreover, his ability to teach these skills to his instructors has created a team and a family. Hwang’s ATAMA develops leaders on the martial arts mat, in school, and in the community. The multiple world, district, and state champions matter here. GPA’s, honor roll, and AP credits matter here. Volunteership matters here.
