We ordered for delivery at 4:30pm today and it is now 6:30pm and our order has not arrived. I have an order confirmation. Tried calling their other YL store at 5:30 and their response was, the AH store was too backed up but they will be here any minute. Now an hour later, nothing was delivered. Unbelievable. First of all, if you are backup, call your customer to let them know. Secondly, do not accept web orders if you are not properly setup. There’s nothing worse than placing an order with a restaurant that you trust, sat home waiting tired and hungry, then found out you’ve been joked. Absolutely not the way to do business. I’ve tried to ask for the owner but I was told he was not available. After 2 hrs of placing order, Had to whip something out for my family so they don’t starve on a Saturday night when I thought I can enjoy delivery food, I highly doubt our food will show up, and if that’s the case, the YL store basically lied to me. I don’t care how good your food is, although out here it’s pretty pathetic we don’t get much dining options, but you can’t take advantage of your patrons like this. Will never give my business to them again, huge disappointment, not to mention the food was always just OK. Come on, it’s pizzas and wings. I’ll be sticking with Porkys in the future.

Been here several times during lunch, the specials are very good and affordable. Had the 2 slice and salad today for lunch. Salads was fresh and the pizza came out hot and tasty!

Short story: Mozzarella sticks are a rip off Pizza is excellent Prices are descent REALLY need to work on their timing and their web ordering option Long story: I have eaten at Pepz several times and have not been disappointed by the results. Good food and prices are well worth it. The one consistent thing is that they ALWAYS seem to be a little late: «It’ll be ready in 25 minutes,» really means, «wait another 10 minutes before going to grab the food.» Even then, sometimes I will have to wait a couple more minutes, but generally worth it. The pizza really is quite good. Yesterday, I was sick as a dog and hungry from not being able to cook anything all day. I also am having a hard time talking, so when I saw the«Order Online» option, I was more than a little happy. Ordered a 12 inch pizza and some Mozzarella sticks(lunch and dinner, don’t judge), put in the other… It’ll be ready in an hour. A whole hour? To process an online order? I haven’t eaten all day and I being punished by using a tool designed to make ordering easier by waiting an additional 25 – 30 minutes? What’s the point? I would have braved hurting my throat and voice and just phoned in the order! Hell, at that point, I would have probably tried to pick it up myself. Whenever I have ordered a pizza over the phone and had it either delivered or picked it up, it has never taken more than 35 – 37 minutes to get. This time, I put in the order at 6:34 and was told to expect it at 7:34. At 7:40, the delivery gentleman finally arrives. The pizza was not hot, it was starting to get cold, but I was hungry I couldn’t care less. The mozzarella sticks are tasty, but at $ 6 for six sticks, it’s not worth it. I have string cheese in my kitchen that I could have battered and fried up(if I wasn’t so sick) and it would have been just as tasty and would have cost me maybe a buck to make. They’re good, but not worth the price. Ordered the artichoke-something-or-other pizza. That was excellent, but probably would have been better if it wasn’t starting to get cold. Get it without the chicken, it’s better. I want to give Pepz more stars, but I am so pissed off with how long it took to get the pizza and the state the pizza was in that I just can’t. The whole point of online ordering it is it supposed to be easier and more convenient, lead to fewer messed-up orders, and help plot out delivery routes more effectively. It’s supposed to make life easier for the customer and the staff. Instead, I got a cold pizza and they may have lost at least a couple of orders from me(Porky’s pizza is never late, and they’re further away from us). Pepz needs to either work on their timing and especially the website(at least give a one-hour warning and make it obvious) or just get rid of the thing. There is no point in trying to copy something that the competition is doing if it can’t be done as well or better. Seriously, Pepz, work on your timing. You seem to have everything else down, including some damn good pizza, surely you can start working on the timing.

Awesome service! Food is always good, bbq wings have a bit of a kick to them that we love. To top it off the waitress brought over a freshly made chocolate chip cookie for my daughter at the end of our meal since she couldn’t have the toppings she wanted because of her braces.

I have been coming here since middle school and absolutely love this place. Often times my family and I will come here and share our favorite, the BBQ Chicken pizza. The salads are good and beer is cold

Good casual pizza place. I been there at least five times and Pizza is consistently good. Nice servers. I can’t figure out why so many bad reviews. I never had a delivery done so can’t comment on that.

First issue was called in an order for pick up and came in to pick up the order and was told that I apparently called another location. First time this issue ever happened. Okay re-make the order while we wait, well done pizza comes out completely charred and uneatible. 3rd times a charm and oh 1 hour of time wasted. All for less than ok pizza. So sad.

I really hope the owner reads this. I called about 915 and talked to the guy, ran into a problem and had to call back. Called back and they wouldn’t pick up the phone. Called at least 5 times in 20 min and they never picked up. If for some reason you don’t see orders after 920, you know why. Ps. The guy also stated that it was cash only, didn’t inform me why. Just that it was cash only, just a heads up.

This place wasn’t bad at all. Walking in, I had some concerns but as soon as the wings were brought to the table. The deal was done, they were so good! Try the mango habanero soooo goood! Although the pizza wasn’t as great but overall it was very satisfying.

The food is 3 star. Not awesome not horrible. Unfortunately their delivery has often taken more than an hour and once came luke warm. Delivered wrong items when ordering online and sort of expensive. I’ve given them many chances and I’ve come to the conclusion that this place is poorly managed. You’re taking a risk with your experience at this place.

Found this place on the fly! Ordered the Pepz House Special pizza with hot wings. The food was great! Pizza was fresh and the wings were delish. Employees made us feel welcomed! The locals made us feel welcomed while watching the USC game! Our kids liked the arcade games they had also. I wish they had a place like Pepz over here in my side of the woods(Norwalk). If we are anywhere near this side of town again, we will definitely come back to Pepz!!!

Very disappointed with our delivery. The kid wouldn’t even deliver our pizza to our apt. He called us and told us to go out and get it. Our pizza and potatoes were extremely cold and our pizza did not have extra cheese that we paid for. This was our first and last time we will order from here. Porkys has never done this to us before.

I always love going to smaller shops to try new food. This location has a great feel, and awesome service. Stopped in for 5.99 lunch: 2 slices, salad and beverage and was very very happy all around. Thanks Pepz!

I was reading some reviews on the way here. I was pretty convinced by them that the pizza was not worth it. Whatever, it was 9:20 and I was hungry, might as well try something else while we’re already here. After a thorough run down of the whole menu, we decided on getting hot subs. There were no good beer choices on tap, like none what so ever. No craft beers, sigh. TV’s are small, pathetic. Service, weak. We said it was for here, we still had a solid 35 minutes to eat our subs, and it wouldn’t even take us that long. It was given to us in a bag, not sure if thats expected? Regardless, it would have been nice on a plate or something, it’s like telling me okay take your subs to go and get out of here. Garlic Chicken Panini: The better of the two. Their garlic aioli sauce is good here. Italian sub: loaded. But, really it’s an Italian sub, salami, pep, tomatoes, etc. It’s standard like anywhere else. So yes, of course I enjoyed it. I’ll most likely never try their pizza. There’s a way better spot just 5 minutes away. Better beers, better tvs to actually enjoy sports games, better food options, and better service, oh and the pizza is bomb. It’s called Out of The Park Pizza. If you’re in Anaheim Hills and looking for pizza, beers, games, a good time, I think itll be a better experience over Pepz.

In a world of pizza places that have sold out and gone to only take out and delivery while giving sub par pizza, Pepz brings back that old school pizzaria/sportsbar feel with awesome pizza. My wife and I love to go here during happy hour and get $ 8 pitchers of domestic and have a large pepperoni pizza. The pizza quality is way above the rest. The crust has that amazing semi crispy outside with a soft fluffy inside. They don’t skimp on cheese or pepperoni either. The customer service here is phenomenal as well. We are always greeted with a smile and asked many times how everything is. One time I messed up and ordered a cheese pizza when I really wanted pepperoni. When they saw my disappointment when the pizza was delivered, they made me a new pizza for free and did not charge me for the pepperoni. That’s customer service! This place is great for families too because there is a little something for everyone. There are TVs everywhere for ballgames, beer is flowing, and there is a small arcade for kids to play. Give them a try, You’ll love it!

«A boy is a magical creature — you can lock him out of your workshop, but you can’t lock him out of your heart» — Allan Beck «Lovers. That word wigs me out unless it is between Meat and Pizza» — Liz Lemon, 30 Rock So the hardest part about my current work schedule is, of course, being away from my son. Trying to finish a book as well adds to my lack of time and availability. So I enjoyed tremendously my recent 9 days in S. Cal and other than a couple of social events that I hosted, pretty much my time was spent with my son just hanging out. One of those lunches was at the pizza parlor in Anaheim Hills and this is another spot that our young, fabulous looking Unilocal horde gets wrong. And surprisingly wrong too considering how much Unilocalers overrate Stoner food. Here’s the thing. Sometimes you don’t need a pretentious pizza joint with ingredients Federal Expressed from a small island in Italy where both goats and humans have lived communally for thousands of years. Sometimes you just want an honest pizza pie, with good service, refillable sodas, TV’s on the wall and enough video games to amuse your son and his friend for about an hour or so(after a sleepover to celebrate my boy’s 11th birthday). That’s what Pepz delivers and all three of us enjoyed our sausage and pepperoni pizza immensely and I enjoyed the fact that I got three drinks and a large pizza for only $ 23.00(actually $ 13.00 since I had a $ 10.00 off with a deal of the day coupon from the OC Weekly. Yeah, and sometimes I actually read the articles instead of just looking at the hot escort pics). I grew up at Shakey’s and Straw Hat pizza parlors where you had games, plenty of seating to hang out and sports playing on the TV while the adults drank pitchers of beer(they have decent beers at Pepz which is a change from the past). This is that kind of place and the charms and lack of pretension may be above the understanding of Gen Y’s but Gen X’s and Gen W’s will get it ;) Recommended

A couple years ago we ordered from Pepz all the time. Then we wanted to try something new, so we switched to another pizza shop, and liked that one so much that we stopped ordering from Pepz. A few weekends ago we wanted pizza, but lately had been disappointed in the other place we had been using, so we decided to try Pepz again. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and garlic cheese sticks. Everything was lacking flavor and parts of our pizza crust were burnt. We usually finish all most all of the leftovers, but a few days later they were still sitting in our fridge so I tossed them. I know when my boyfriend doesn’t take leftover pizza for lunch that there is a problem. The problem was the pizza and sticks sucked, so we will most likely not try them out again.
