This place was a great place for a casual dinner. We sat at the bar because it was a 45min wait. Bartender and barback was nice and attentive. Sitting at the bar was better because we got our food right away, drinks always full and after dinner we were able to just turn around 2and place games. The arcade area isn’t that big but it was just enough. Love that they had multiple air hockey tables and the normal size basketball hoop game to play. Perfect for adults.

Came here for Game 5 Warriors vs. Cavs and waited about 30 min, which wasn’t bad considering we were a party of 12. Honestly, the arcade upstairs is the best way to kill time. We got sat in the patio(with our own TVs… SCORE!) and got our drinks ordered immediately. Our server was awesome! I’m sure she had other tables but attended to us like we were the only ones and made sure we were never thirsty. She was outgoing and joked with us which we appreciated considering there were A LOT of people watching the game and the floor was packed. My party and I stuck with quick eats and appetizers, as we were mainly there to drink, and because we don’t want to pay and arm and a leg for foods we could make at home. I ordered the cheese fries(very cheesy but not worth the $ 13) and the chicken tenders(5 pieces or $ 12). I wasn’t sold on the food here and it’s very basic food for a hyped of price. Overall, we had a good experience because our server made it that way, and she made sure we had drinks in our hands. Wait time: 3⁄5 Drinks: 5⁄5 Food: 3⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 Entertainment: 5⁄5

ESPN Zone is located in Downtown Disney right next to Rainforest Café(close to the Monorail entrance). THEGOOD: ESPN Zone has a bunch of TV’s showing sports from all over the world. If you have ever been to a Vegas sportsbook, it looks very similar to that except no betting desks, obviously. We put our name down on the Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend, and the wait time was about 70 minutes, which was completely understandable given the time and location. We decided to just sit at a table in the bar. Waitress(think her name was April) in the bar was absolutely overworked and took some time to get our food/drinks, but she was nonetheless polite and determined to make sure we were happy. I have worked in the food industry in the past, so I felt empathy toward her unfortunate situation. Out of every staff member I interacted with that day, she was the only one who provided any level of customer service. THEBAD: Other than our awesome waitress, the entire staff flat out sucked. First, the hostess/greeting people at the front desk did not want to be there. They were not friendly and basically got irritated if you asked more than one question. A brief story that leads into the other staff members… I went to wait in the bar for an open table(the bar area is first come first serve seating). My girlfriend and I were waiting at the entrance area to the bar. A couple was standing up from their table getting ready to pay. Now I don’t know about you, but I find it extremely rude to «hover» around a table that is about to leave. Thus, my GF and I decided to just remain within 10 – 15 feet and wait it out. Out of nowhere, some guy just walks to the table and sits down and claims it is his. I explained to him we were waiting, but of course he didn’t care and was as rude as they come. At this point, I was friggin pissed, because we were absolutely there before him(and he knew it) but because we weren’t right next to the table, he felt he had every right to the table. Anyway, I then asked a bus boy if I could speak to the manager. After a few minutes, I see the manager talking to the bus boy, and then rather than come talk to me, he and the bus boy just stand in the walkway and watches the Dodgers game! WTF! I literally wait at least 2 – 3 minutes before I have to walk to the manager and ask«are you the manager». I explain to him what happened, and he tells me that I wasn’t waiting right next to the table, and basically tells me I should’ve done that. No apology or anything. THEFINALWORD: It’s a great facility and the food isn’t bad either. But I don’t care how good the food and facility is. If your staff has the customer service skills of a rock, then I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Stay away.

Stopped by here last weekend during a Disneyland trip with some friends. We wanted to catch the Warriors game so we made reservations and ended our day here. Everybody say Warriors, WARRIORRRSSSSS(in E-40 tone, OBVI). Anyway, I ordered the fettuccine alfredo which was okay, but nothing to write home about. Service was meh but it was a decent place to catch the game before our drive home.

The food was basic tourist food, very filling but nothing spectacular. I would rather eat at Earl of Sandwich or even the House of Blues.

Great for families looking for a space to chill from Disneyland, etc., but wow, talk about sensory overload. If you’re like me, you’ll need to step out for a breather. Staff was very helpful with figuring out gluten-free options for my wife.

Had a great evening here this past Sunday. Chris and Tom took great care of my friend and I at the upstairs bar. They were very friendly and attentive. We watched the Cavs play, competed in some arcade games, had a few drinks and ate some chicken tenders. I’m a bartender as well, so it’s always good to receive the same service that I work so hard to offer to all of my guests. I’m very happy to spend my hard earned money here, and congratulations to Tom for his new born baby girl Madison!

Of the restaurants in Downtown Disney, this had the shortest wait time yesterday(4⁄11) with a wait of 5 minutes vs 30. It doesn’t take Doc Brown to realize something is awry with this equation. Our server, April gets extra kudos for customer service and understanding. My wife’s burger was so dry that the BBQ sauce couldn’t cover up for the dry, bland meet. My steak salad was tasty and fortunately didn’t have any unwanted surprises(see the next sentence). My brother and his wife, on the other hand, had a terrible baked potato, questionable water that tasted like Sprite, and a fly in his salad. Granted, April comped it, but shouldn’t a manager come out and apologize? Foreign and formerly living insects should NOT be in food served at a respectable restaurant. This used to be our go to place to eat in Downtown, but not anymore. The average rating is 3 stars for a reason. Stay away.

The Good — Our server, April, was really nice. Great customer service. — Nachos with brisket were pretty good. Brisket was really tender. That’s all for the good portion. The Bad — Our water tasted kind of like Sprite. Not in the good we accidentally got a free soda kind of way, more like the dishes could use some more washing kind of way. The Ugly — Got a baked potato as a side. It tasted old, stale, microwaved, and all kinds of chalky. *Side note: April was a customer service all-star and switched it out no prob when we brought it to her attention. — I found a slimy DEADFLY in the salad we ordered. In ESPN’s defense, the slime was probably just salad dressing? Some quality control in the kitchen would be nice. If you want to have Geena Davis style maggot dreams, this is the place for you! *Side note: April took the salad off our bill after we showed her the fly.

ESPN Zone is actually pretty amazing. The quote«the early bird gets the worm.» During football season me and my beautiful colombian girl came in and it was packed up the DONKEY! Beyond crowded but the vie can’t be beat. A ton of Disney fans as well as sports fanatatic that love a few drinks to watch the games. I reccomend you get here early because damn, that is a wait if you want bar seats. Their Nachos are delicious! Their beer is amazing due to their beers are actually cold lol… freaking awesome!

I’ve been here a few times now throughout the years. Basically, it’s a giant restaurant and sports bar with an upstairs play area(kind of Dave and Busters esque but there is more activities rather than just video game style) and then a sports store downstairs as well. I usually get seated in by the giant wall of TVs or I’ll hang out at the bar to order if it’s really busy. The nice thing about this place is I’ve never had a bad server. Everyone is nice and greets you. It’s a plus. This last trip on a Saturday for lunch, I was seated in 5 minutes with no reservation. We sat down and nobody came to our table for quite some time for drink orders, which is pretty much always a sign it will be a long wait for food in my restaurant experiences. The menus have fairly small print, lack visual interest, and look very empty because of the design. They should seriously consider getting a professional to make them menus. I always have a hard time ordering because the descriptions are often lacking and the organization is a little hard to follow. Anyways, I went with the buffalo chicken sandwich. My friends got the club wrap and the appetizer wings with fries. I also ordered a margarita. And then we waited… and waited… and my margarita came! It was in a basic tumbler, which usually means it won’t be that great. It wasn’t. Then we waited more and more. Finally, our food arrived. We all enjoyed the flavoring on the fries. My sandwich was good, but it would have been better done as a wrap in my opinion. It was hard to keep on the bun and the bun just felt like too much breading with the chicken. It was not bad though. In former visits, I tried the club wrap and liked it. I also tried the pizookie style dessert, which is awesome. The thing that stands out from all my visits though? The fact that I always have to wait 30 – 50 minutes for my order to come out. I know they have entertainment, but when none of my favorite sports are in season it gets really boring. I might be back if a big group requests it or it’s late and nothing is open, but that’s it. Not on my own.

ESPNZONE is a pretty safe bet when it comes to food, entertainment, and sports. Great place to stop by with the kids to check out the sights, sounds, and arcade. It is also an awesome spot to take a friend or date for an upbeat atmosphere with low maintenance interaction. The food is good but not necessarily gourmet nor cheap, for that matter. Your really shelving out some dough for the offerings and general environment. I like this place for its fun factor and diversity. The bar does help even more if your a drinker. 3 stars since the food isn’t all that wonderful, the area can get a little cluttered/confusing, and service is a hit or miss. Nonetheless, I’ll be back!

BLUF: The ultimate sports bro hotspot. 5⁄5 for the venue and 3⁄5 for the food but the large portions make up for the average taste When you come to the Zone, you come for the sports experience rather than the food. The downstairs is a full restaurant with two bars while the upstairs has a multitude of sports themed video games. Be aware that there’s going to be an excruciatingly long wait during big games as people will finish the meal but won’t leave till the time has expired. There’s nothing special about the food but they always seem to heap a lot of it and I’ve never had any complaints. I recommend the chicken tender salad which has fried onion crisps and chicken tenders on top of romaine lettuce and tomatoes. The salad is covered with ranch and BBQ sauce. The first time I had it, they put far too much BBQ sauce so I now ask for it on the side and dip the tenders in it. The chicken is delicious and the salad makes you feel healthier while chowing down on fried goodness. If you’re looking for a snack with beer or something to munch on during a game, the queso chips are awesome. Super nachos stacked high with jalapeños, nacho cheese, sour cream and pico. This can easily satisfy a group of 3 – 4. Awesome place to hang with friends or wind down with pops. Always make a visit during my time in downtown Disney.

Right at the beginning of «Downtown Disney» is where this ESPN zone resides. Given the parking fees at Disney, I imagine the inky people that done here are also already going to Disney, otherwise you’re starting out with a fairly hefty parking fee right off the bat. Despite showing up just before peak dinner time and just before a big football matchup on a Thursday night, our party of five was seated in under 10 minutes which really speaks to the sheer size of this restaurant. Unfortunately, it would be about 10 – 15 minutes before our waiter swung by and we could begin ordering, and thus began the downhill slide for ESPN Zone. One of our orders came it wrong, and our waiter did swing by often to see how things were going, and despite requests, empty drinks wouldn’t be refilled(«oh I forgot, let me go get that!» And then disappear and not get it), followed by a long absence, followed by then bringing us the wrong drinks which belonged to another table, etc. etc. right up to the check. The food was standard bar fare, and probably even a bit better in quality than similar establishments like Buffalo Wild Wings and Hooters; the burgers and the salads we ordered were all delicious and large. You pay for that too, as the prices here I thought were a bit high, but certainly a better value than you’re getting in the park.

It’s a little piece of heaven for a sports fan like me. Love this place, not only because the atmosphere & all the Tv’s with different sports on them(which I love) but there food & drinks are good as well. It’s not only for guys you can bring you’re family too, they got a arcade upstairs with another bar there. Most of the games are for teenage kids. The food is a bit pricey but worth it. I get a steak most of the time & for not being a steak house I got to say it’s still really good. There hot buffalo wings on point! My kids get the sliders & they love it. Mix drinks & margaritas are pretty good as well. They separate the bar with the main dinning room which is cool & they got another little bar upstairs. The place is always clean & the service has always been good the times I’ve gone. The wait can be a bit long at times just have a little patience it’s worth it. We got Disney year passes so we come to Disney bout 6 times a year & we always eat dinner here or lunch if it’s a Sunday & my football team is playing at 1pm. I just got to kiss my wife’s ass a lot & buy her a Mickey hat & shirt(she probably has like 10 of each now, damn you Mickey Mouse) but it’s worth it. Eating here is one of the things I look forward too when I bring the family to Disneyland. My fav thing is when we go to our motels I come back here at about midnight with my 16 year old son only & give him $ 40 to play in the arcade upstairs as I order a pitcher of beer at the bar & just watch him play & watch ESPN& also play with him a bit as well, it’s good father bonding time. Then when we’re done yes I’m kind of drunk but it’s ok cuz I’m not driving I’m walking to my hotel! Geaaaah, WINNING!!! So thank you ESPN zone for making my Disney trips a lot better with you’re alcohol, good food & sports. When I’m tired from walking in the hot sun & waiting in lines for rides & having screaming kids step on my new Jordan’s at Disney Land you guys always save the day!

The first time my SO and I tried to eat here on a Thursday night, the ENTIRE place was being used for a «private event». What a disappointment… Despite that hiccup in our plans, I believe this place is the ultimate sports bar and every man’s dream place to dine at. Located in downtown Disney, this place gives exhausted fathers and bored boyfriends a place to escape(considering how many men I saw seated out front staring at the giant televisions). The second attempt to eat here was a success. We were greeted by a host out front who told us there was no guaranteed wait time. We just had to write our names down and we got to choose between receiving a buzzer or give them our # to be texted(I really love that option). The host was even more helpful by telling us that there were 3 bars and that was a viable option. My SO and I luckily found a spot at the bar upstairs. Our waitress/bartender, Steph,(who was amazing) greeted us and got us our drinks. I forgot the name of my drink, but it was absolutely delicious! Only because I love sweet, fruity drinks. They had a variety of choices from chicken wings to nachos. My SO decided on an Angus burger with avocado and bacon, side of fries, and BBQ sauce on the side. The sauce was spicy and sweet and oh so amazing. I ditched my ranch after the first taste of his BBQ sauce. I got the same burger only with swiss cheese and mushroom. Burgers were cooked exactly how we liked. Portions were huge! I can’t wait to come back with an empty stomach. Some tips: — They will require a card to hold a tab. — A lot of parents came up asking if they could order when they saw empty seats, but as the bartender repeated over and over again, they don’t serve children unfortunately(hello, it’s a bar…) — The bar upstairs only has a few select beers on tap. If you want more variety, you’d need to go downstairs.

I’ve never really experienced ESPN zone. I’ve maybe stopped in for a drink at the bar or watched a part of a game on their outside tvs as I passed by. But when you plan to go to Disneyland the same day as Game 2 of the NBA finals, you know ESPN zone is the place to watch the game. We came more than an hour and a half early to ensure a table. They have a ‘game on’ rule that was in effect during this time. During any popular sporting events, there is a $ 10 per person, per hour minimum. This minimum is not too hard to meet if each person orders food and a couple of drinks. Upstairs is the arcade, which is very Dave and Buster’s-esque. I had no idea this cool arcade was here! I surveyed the area and found 4 player air hockey, a mini bowling lane, shooting games, racing games, basketball. basically all the essentials! And to top it off: a fancy prize dispenser. Gone are the days of weighing tickets or feeding them into the counter and anxiously awaiting your total so you can pick out your prizes. Instead the smart system keeps track of tickets earned on a card and you redeem your prizes from a machine. This is probably weird to anyone over the age of 25, but the norm for kids now(thanks, ESPN Zone for making me feel old!) Sports memorabilia line the walls with nostalgic pieces and current ones. There is an overall fun and loud sports bar feel. We ordered a pitcher of beer and the tailgate sampler. The menu is pretty diverse and I considered ordering the salmon. The sampler had buffalo and barbeque wings, spinach artichoke dip and chips, sliders and ribs and even a healthy touch of carrots and celery. This was plenty of food to feed 4 boys and this girl. The food was your standard sports bar food. The prices you pay are obviously based on location rather than quality. The pitchers were on special while we were there, which made it a better deal than ordering individual pints. Good to know that ESPN Zone is here for my game watching and arcade playing Downtown Disney needs.
