— Locale Destination– It’s on W Lincoln Ave and N Bel Air St in Anaheim. It’s in a small and dark shopping plaza, kinda out of nowhere… Ambiance: Sports bar with TVs for your games. Service: Alright. Not so much English. Korean. Parking: Tough, yet some street parking as well. — Gluttony Expedition — Crispy chicken: nicely cooked — crispy, not greasy, very moist meat. It lacked in seasoning unlike the ones at «Huckleberry’s famous sandwich» in Huntington Beach. Not bad. Soy chicken: it’s a bit too sweet. Meh. I prefer the crispy chicken. — Conqueror’s Deduction — The business hours are weird, so I couldn’t try this place for a long while. Finally I tried it. Better than other Korean chicken wing places, but not as good as the ones at «Huckleberry’s» in Huntington Beach. Their Korean«broaster chicken» is the best fried chicken for me so far. So I probably won’t come back here.

They have the BEST fried chicken I have ever tasted. I always get the crispy hot wings in original crispy. Paired with the cabbage salad and the pickled radish, now that’s a meal!

I don’t understand how this place is 4 stars. It’s one of the worst Korean chicken places I’ve been to. What’s worse is that this place was previously a pretty legit Korean restaurant that I enjoyed coming to and the owners decided to change it to a Korean chicken and beer place… The chicken just isn’t very good here, plain and simple. The original is bland, but the red sauce chicken is one of the worst Korean chicken out there. That’s mainly why I give this place just 2 stars. How do you operate a Korean chicken restaurant with this kind of sauce? The soy flavor is actually decent and probably the only one worth getting if you must get chicken. Not sure about the rest of their menu, but I would go elsewhere for Korean chicken.

This place was more of a 3.5 stars. So when my BF and I came in around 10PM, there were about 3 – 4 parties. We got the half sweet soy chicken and half original. It was stated on the menu that the order would come in white and dark meat. The chicken itself was pretty crispy but I definitely had better. They gave out FREEANDUNLIMITED cabbage salad and some diced pickled radish. So the food itself was good, but what happened was what got its 3 stars instead of 4. One of the waitress kept going back to this one particular table chatting and because of that it was hard to get her attention. It turns out her boyfriend was there and I saw them kissing and her taking shots. UHHHH… talk about professional?! I think I would come back if other people wanted it, but not come out of my way for this place.

Granted, the chicken wings are super crispy, but the sauces they cover them with are bland, extra sweet, and super spicy. Came here with the family and it took fifteen minutes for us to get our drinks(WATER)! Might be my imagination, but seems like this place only caters to young Korean kids. Not worth trying for a second time and definitely not worth the drive and money I already spent here.

Back in LA on business and I couldn’t waste an opportunity to indulge in some top notch Korean food. That long flight back out west did not deter my cravings one bit. I still have my car out here so I picked it up and set out to cure this beast in my belly. I initially wanted k-bbq, but I couldn’t find a place to cook it for me(lazy, don’t judge) so instead I continued my Unilocal scroll and found this gem only 5 minutes away from my location. It’s located in a medium sized strip mall with parking on the street. I walked in and noticed the spot was a pretty nice size and very updated décor. It’s not quite a bar but they do have flatscreens with ESPN on… They must of knew I was coming The waitresses were very nice and ordering went smooth(I speak a lil Korean). The menu is standard Korean fare– fried chicken wings in a assortment of flavors, tons of side dishes from bulgogi to kimchi pancake they have what you need. I ordered the chicken wings(of course) ½ & ½. I mixed and matched soy and spicy sweet. The soy wings were the prize in this instance. Overall, good restaurant for Korean fast food, right down the street from Knott’s Berry Farm, come check it out.

KFC, or Korean Fried Chicken is a wondrous thing. It really is. IMHO it tends to be much more flavorful than traditional American style fried chicken, and to me it always seems less greasy. The Korean gang and I headed here for some late night noshing as one of our friends had told us great things about this resto. Located in a smallish strip mall in Anaheim, this is a mid-sized establishment. The place looked very clean, which is always a plus in my germaphobe book! Soon after we ordered, the friendly staff brought us cabbage coleslaw, vinegar daikon(or «moo-ooh» in Korean), and some dipping sauces. We ordered quite a bit that evening: fresh garlic bossam(Korean lettuce wraps with boiled pork belly), pa dak(non-sauced fried chicken with thinly sliced green onion topping), and spicy stir fried octopus with noodles. First things first: the bossam lettuce wraps with the fresh garlic on top was A-MA-ZING. The pork belly was so tender and flavorful, and the addition of the garlic elevated this dish to a whole other level. They give you a variety of fixins to eat with your wrap — along with lettuce you can add soybean paste, shrimp sauce, jalapeño slices, kimchi, and a host of other delightful tidbits. Much like a «Choose Your Own Adventure» book, you can mix and match to your liking. The fried pa dak chicken was on point as well. The chicken was fried perfectly — good crunch while remaining juicy on the inside. Though it was not covered in sauce, the chicken itself was quite flavorful — I feel like it had been seasoned with a little ginger prior to frying? You can eat this with the thinly sliced green onions, and with the sauce they provide. It’s all good! The stir fried octopus was delicious, not overcooked(lots of places make the mistake of overcooking which makes it tough/chewy) and spicy! So it was great that we opted for the addition of noodles to help tone down the heat(in my older age, I can’t take as much spice as I did in my younger days…#ahjumma problems…). CCM serves draft/bottled beer, soju, and makgoali. The Korean squad opted for beer and soju. The owner even brought us some pomegranate(I think that was the flavor) soju to try which was delicious! Fruity and refreshing. Overall, I really enjoyed our experience here. Great food, nice surroundings, and good service. I will definitely be back to get some more garlic bossam and try their other KFC offerings. CCM, why you so crazy delicious?!

SALTY. NOTCRUNCHY. GROSS. The words that crossed my mind as I bit into each of the wings we got. We were supposed to go to koko because Koko is the BEST but they were closed on saturday due to the holidays. One of our friends was told that crazy chi mac is the best around so we went. BULLS****!!! best around… yeah if you haven’t been around much! Ew. the wings dont have that crispety crunch you will get from the batter at koko or even bbq chicken and its just super duper salty. Even their french fries are doused in salt. What’s up with that? Also, their ddukboki is NOT good either and quite expensive for some reason. 15.99 for raboki(ramen + dduk). The dduk was kinda hard and not enough sauce so I spit it out and just at the ramen. How do you mess up ddukboki? I almost went into the kitchen so I could make it myself and show them what sauce is supposed to look like. Service was good but no door bell at least that we could see so you have to flag them down. Overall, their food needs a lot of work. Bring back Pingae, their food was better than this.

Sorry. Tried this place few times, every time it gets worse. Do you guys notice their draft beer tastes all same? No matter what brand of beer you order, it always has that watered down taste. Their chicken tastes if it has been fried twice, Im not talking about extra crispy, but cooked again with left over chicken. Why people raving about their sauce?!? Seriously, I can make soy or sweet&soy flavor much better than them. I can only taste GoChooJang(spicy red pepper paste) in their flavored chicken. Place used to be good when they first opened. They seriously need new cook.

Here is a location quite close to home that we put off for a very long time. It never panned out when we thought of going, other times we would forget. Our friend came home from her trip to see her family and wanted to meet up. We picked something close as I was running around and did not want to be late. This place was on our radar anyways. Realizing that she is not a fan of fried chicken, we did see that they had regular wings and other things as well. She got there quite early and sat at a table and waited. Luckily it was not busy. Sadly it was dead but it worked for us that night. I hope that is not the norm these days. We ordered iced teas and she had already placed an order of dumplings and split them with us. I found them to be pretty good, and it had a nice crunch on the outside to it. I went with the half order of oven roasted chicken, my husband ordered the half order of crazy hot fried chicken, and our friend ordered chicken tenders. Dishes come with complimentary salad. A simple iceberg or cabbage with their sauce on top. I found it to be really good despite being so simple. I will guess it was cabbage since iceberg bores my taste buds to death. If I am wrong then the sauce pulled a miracle. I was bummed that getting the oven roasted chicken does not come with a flavored sauce obviously, but I didn’t feel like eating fried that night as I am making better choices here and there and I was already bad earlier in the day. It comes with fries but not many. My husband’s order was drenched in sauce and the color looked evil to me, so definitely evil hot. For some reason his wings were quite large compared to mine and mine were a good size as well. Also he had like three more wings than me so I am not sure how it all works. Sadly our friend was expecting a thin batter/crisp of chicken tenders but they were definitely fried and crunchy, like a KFC type but harder. She ate about two and said she was full. That was not a good sign in my opinion. She says it tasted good but she just doesn’t eat fried chicken anymore and she ate the dumplings and salad. She sent me home with her leftovers. Hopefully if it did not work out she will try something else. I found the flavors to be quite good and would definitely come back.

Great service and amazing food. Chicken was well fried and the sides were fantastic. All of the food was fresh. Korean food was great as well. The service is good and they are bilingual. You can watch all of the baseball games and basketball games here. You can find that they use a lot of Korean beer posters over their walls. Also the water container that they give you.

My favorite korean style chicken place. Love the fried chicken here and spicy sauce on the side. Chicken is better with sliced green onions. Be careful with the spicy sauce., it is realllly spicy. They also have great food other than chickens. My favorite korean food here is garlic bossam and nakji boggum(octopus). Must try!!! Nice edm music and great place to watch sports with friends! Service is always great too. Always leave chimac with satisfaction!

Bipolar is what I have to say about this place! I first came here with a group of friends, the food was great and the service was excellent. The food that came out was hot and fresh, the service we got was very attentive… but the second time I came that was not the case. The second time that I came it was with several girls and I. We walked in and it was a quiet night, there was perhaps only a few guest being served. The waiter who served us seemed a bit reserved and quiet. The food that came out was lackluster and not as great as the first time I ate here. Even there service was poor. Our waiter only came once to check in on us and the only other time he came over was when he was prompted by us. I’m not sure what happen here… but my second experience here was not like my first, they really dropped the ball on the food and the service here. Pro: –cozy environment –no wait times Con: –Limited selection of beers –Bipolar food and service –Difficult parking Overview: I’m not sure if I’ll come here again. The service and the food that I got the second time was a bit sub par.

This place would’ve easily gotten 5 stars, but customer service was lacking. Upon entering inside of the restaurant, we were greeted and sat right away. The décor and environment is more of a sit-down drinking spot. the place was also kept pretty clean. Anyways… we ordered the half and half. half fried chicken with spicy sauce and half with regular fried chicken, and 18 crazy wings(sweet sour, soy, and crazy hot). Wow. Korean fried chicken is amazing. they were so crisp, boldly flavored, and juicy on the inside. I really enjoyed the Soy as my top choice and crazy hot as my second. I wasn’t a huge fan of the sweet sour though. We didn’t wait too long for the food. I believe it took about 20 minutes. On to customer service. Our server did not check on us when we ran out of water. Most of the time we were trying to get her attention and ask for things. She was on her phone a lot or somewhere else when we needed assistance. We also ordered rice, but never received it. We were not charged for it. It would’ve been nice to eat the fried chicken with rice to balance out the boldness of the flavors. She was very nice. Just wasn’t attentive or passionate about making sure our experience was good. Verdict? Up the customer service and you’ll have people running back. Even when its the end of the night. you never know what new repeat customers you can make. I would’ve been one. but I’ll probably just be ordering carry-out when I come back.

I’ve been coming here many times even before new owner took over this place. The foods are still the same goody and service is even better. I usually get fried chicken, chicken wings(especially habanero wings if you are to die for spicy stuff) and garlic bossam. Can’t go wrong with these items! Don’t forget to grab their draft beer or other drinks cuz they have half off reg prices for 1yr anniversary. The most thing I love about this place is they open late and have great food. I’ll DEFINITELY be back for more and MORE!

This place is really really good! We ordered more wings than we could eat. Definitely get the Spicy Sweet wings. I ordered a 12 piece of those and my wife got the Soy Wings and ended up eating all of mine. The Pa-dak(green onions) are really good with the wings. The wings have way more meat than BWW and way more flavor. The owner/servers are really nice too. I came here to kill some wings and the wings killed me. Bomb dot com! I need a nap

Went here for dinner here the neighborhood looks shady. The server was super rude. She toss down the menu on the seat of the booth without saying anything. We ordered the half and half. Original hot and soy garlic chicken. They forgot to toss the chicken and told my sister to calm down when she tried to talk. And asked if we wanted the soy sauce on the side instead. It’s wings who wants there dipping sauce on the side? This aint no chicken nugget Taste wise it wasn’t bad I like the soy garlic better than the original hot but after a while I got tired of it. Original hot had the gochujang taste in it. They use whole chicken so there was lots of bone in it. A little sad that there wasn’t more wings. Price wise it can get a little pricey since it was pretty fresh tasting. The meat didn’t taste frozen. They never checked on us when we ate either. I saw that the whole staff was eating dinner at like 9pm. The service was just plain horrible.

This place is a great hole in the wall considering the location and also great if you want wings on a late night since it closes at 1am. My girlfriend and I were looking for wings close to home that tastes close to Kyochon or Bonchon and this is what we found when we were searching. This place did not disappoint. Though this place does not taste exactly like either kyochon and bonchon, it has a good taste to satisfy either way. The common items come with the like korean salad and then we order fries and rice. The place actually reminds me of Love Letter without the pizza, which is a good thing. The wings we order are the soy garlic or sweet soy, which is the standard when comparing korean wings. Taste is great and theres nothing else too it. Service is on point and you’ll have a good time with friends. Try this spot!

Thanks for clarifying, it gives me much more relief!!! If your Ttopoki dish is the most popular item, it will still be no matter what I think! People have different taste buds and various reasons to like it. But, I would still suggest you choose a better rice cake supplier, Ewah or any other similar korean market packged rice cakes are containing lesser rice than flour and some other chemicals, why don’t u find a local rice cake bakeries for much softer, fresher, better quality rice cake at a decent price to make your most popular dish worth its $ 11? What about including boiled eggs? Just like traditional ttopoki, always comes with a boiled egg! Just a thought! XD

Wow, they’ve got some juicy, crispy fried chicken here! I have never had Korean fried chicken before, and Crazy Chi Mac has set the standard pretty high for me. Located in Anaheim, Crazy Chi Mac is in a Korean-ish plaza. There’s a PC café in the corner and a billiard store that is open late every day. You will see a «chicken» sign, and the restaurant is just behind it. It takes up most of the plaza. It doesn’t look like much from the outside since it’s all covered up with boards and random signs. If you can’t find parking in the small private lot, there are spots along the street nearby. Be careful with the potholes and uneven ground. Since it was my first time trying it out, I shared the half and half option with my eating partner. For $ 16.99, you get 14 pieces(they cut up a whole chicken) — half crispy chicken and half drenched in hot sauce. The sauce reminded me of Buffalo Wild Wing’s Asian Zing but sweeter and less spicy. They sprinkle your chicken with some pieces of thick cut fries. Prior to the chicken coming out, they will serve a cabbage salad with thousand island dressing and a small bowl of pickled radish. They have dipping sauces available for the chicken, but I didn’t need any. The crispy chicken was already really juicy and fried to perfection. Each table has a small bucket to throw away bones, but my boyfriend and I completely missed that memo haha. I wish they also provided extra napkins or wet towels for clean up afterwards. The hot sauce was incredibly messy. Luckily the restrooms were just behind the register. The restaurant is dimly lit. You can tell from my photos. I didn’t want the flash to startle other customers. There are several TVs located conveniently around for people to watch sports games. They played the Lakers! Woo :)
