We really enjoy this place. The pizza is yummy, however a little on the pricey side. But I think it’s worth it. It’s difficult to find good pizza in Utah County anymore. Most of the families want cheap cardboard pizza they can feed an army with. Many many varieties for your family. I have a son that loves the all meats and then I have a vegetarian daughter. They can get exactly what they love.

Not impressed with the«awesome new owners» which the storefront banner heralds. Our 6-year-old son loves the cinnamon pizza at Pier 49, so when we asked him where he wanted to eat for his birthday dinner, he picked Pier 49. Having a large extended family, we had more than a dozen relatives who drove in from Provo and Murray to meet us for dinner at the Pier 49 in American Fork. Imagine our embarrassment and frustration when we all arrived to find a sign in the door reading«Plan Ahead. We’re closed on Labor Day.» It’s bad enough that the new owners decided to close shop on a holiday in which many people eat out. However, to make it seem like it was my fault that I couldn’t eat there because I didn’t «plan ahead» was outright infuriating. The traditional«Sorry we’re closed» sign would have been much better received. Perhaps if the new restaurant owners wanted to not work on a holiday in which many dine out, they should have«planned ahead» by arranging for someone to run the store in their absence.

SOOO disappointed! Ok we were soooo excited to get this pizza delivered! We used to get it when we lived in downtown Provo, Utah. I was not the one who ordered on the phone do when I answered the door and signed a recipt for $ 50!!! I was shocked!!! The pizzas were suppose to be larges and looked like a small, were luke warm and sadly not even good. We pawned it off on my little brother. We were so sad

A good pizza option in Utah Valley. Their prices are very high though. I usually get the Little Italy. I can’t fit in their booths, and I am not exceptionally large.

Not my favorite pizza. Great crust but SOOO skimpy on the toppings. We paid $ 20 for a smallish Large specialty pizza and some slices had literally one piece of topping on them. Like one piece of tomato. All our pizzas were like this! Won’t be returning soon unless the owners invest the extra $.50 per pizza for more toppings!!!

Not sure if this location is under new ownership but our last experience was not good at all. Our family has gone to this location 6+ times, but on this occasion we ended up leaving before we received our meal. We ordered sat down with our drinks and awaited out breadsticks and pizza 25 min goes by, I ask the girl behind the counter how long before we get our meal and she whispers it’s going to be another 20 minutes. My reply was we have already waited 25 min and haven’t received anything. She then went and got the manager who said I’m am sorry we have ran out of everything and we are having issues with delivery drivers. Not my problem is what I’m thinking. He asks what he can do and after asking for any food while waiting. He said no there isn’t we said ok we will take the money back. Ended up at in n out burger across the street. It will be a while till we I back here.

I want to give a higher rating because I love Pier 49’s pizza but as far as this location… it’s SOOOO frustrating. They never have a delivery driver and if they do they try to talk you out of delivery by threatening a 2 hr wait when it’s usually just 45. That’s if you can get them to answer the phone. I cannot count the times I’ve called and it rang at least 15 times before picking up or they just don’t answer at all. If it wasn’t for them being the only good pizza I can find around here I would stop giving them my business entirely because they clearly do not care. Makes me sad because we do love their pizza, they just have horrible management.

Pizza when you can get it is delicious. They should discontinue their Buffett option. They can’t even keep it stocked when they are not busy. For $ 10 there are better options.

I order pizza from two places. Dominos when I just want pizza cheap. But if I want something that taste really good. I order a Golden Gate Veggie with white sauce and pineapple from Pier 49 Pizza. I don’t eat pizza every week, so when I do order it, I am willing to pay extra for something good.

With the San Fran pics on the wall to keep me busy while my pizza is being made I enjoy the karma of this place. Its rare to find a sit down pizza place these days. Pier 49 has a perfect pre-movie feel(cause it’s next to the theater) and with a great selection of pizzas. Now, some people hate this place. I don’t get it. I have gone on a couple dates that started at Pier 49 and it always set me up for success.

I used to really like Pier 49, so much that it was my #1 stop when I was younger. I went this location and got mediocre pizza at extremely high prices. The sauce was and crust were both blander than it used to be, but at least the pepperonit and the cheese were good as always. It doesn’t look like there are many deals either. Having to shell out $ 15 for a large pepperoni when I could get something better at Domino’s for half the price is a little much. It cost my wife and I $ 30 to eat here. I’d expect that if we got quality pizza, but we didn’t. Maybe it’s just this location, but if this is an indicator of the rest of the Pier 49s, then I don’t think they’ll be around much longer, not when there are so many other places to choose from. Sorry guys, you’ll either need to step up the quality, lower your prices, or throw in the towel.

As soon as I walked in and saw an empty restaurant, I knew it was a bad sign. The manager had just pulled on new gloves, and put his hands all over the dirty front counter near the cash register. I should have left then. The place looked filthy. I am a vegetarian, so I asked for no chicken, but extra vegetables on my BBQ pizza. They said it would be an extra charge. Strike two. Then they refused to take the coupons we received via email. We had signed up for them a few days prior. They had not yet expired. We were told they weren’t valid at that location. We left without ordering. We were first-timers, never to return. We went and ate somewhere clean, with much better customer service. Don’t waste your time.

Went to Pier 49 pizza on Friday night with a coupon that Pier 49 had OPTEDIN for only to be told that they decided not to accept them anymore and we would need to pay full price($ 18) for their pizza. So we left and went to In-n-out burger for better food and a better experience. Thanks for wasting our time, gas, and patience«Poo 49».

This place is the place you get food right before a movie because cinemark is right next door. You walk up to the counter and there is pizza spinning in a circly thing and you can order by the slice. This is what I do every time. The pizza is pretty good. It’s not as good as cpk but it’s not as far either. See ya.

Rude workers and manager. The cashier even refused to get the manager for me because they told me they would tell me the same thing. They have a coupon that you can use and I pulled the coupon up on my app on my smart phone which i have done at many restaurants before yet they would not accept it. They said it had to be printed out, which is not true. All the restaurant needs is the coupon code and they validate it with . I will never go to this restaurant again.

I enjoyed Pier 49 at different location with my friends in high school way back when, so I thought I would give them a try as an adult. But my experience at the AF location this week doesn’t make me want to go back. We had a couple of gift certificates from in our hand when we went up to order, and the first thing the gal at the till said was, «You can only use one of those. It says right on it.» Not«Welcome to Pier 49,» not«How can I help you today,» just an immediate shut-down. I cheerfully said, «Okay, we’ll use this one» and tried to order one of their regular over-priced pizzas along with their special«thin crust pepperoni for $ 0.99.» Ms. Grumpy informed me that I couldn’t combine offers like that, so I just got the regular pizza. She made me feel like a criminal who was trying to rip her off, not like a valued customer. I understand that these gift certificates are a loss-leader for the restaurants, just to get people in the door. But I’ve never seen such hostility toward their use at any other restaurant. Employees have to understand that consumers see gift certificates as a method of payment, not as a coupon: they shouldn’t affect the rest of what you’re able to order, they should just take the dollar amount of the certificate off the bottom line of your bill. When our pizza came, it was pretty good toppings-wise, but I really disliked the crust/dough. It was very bland. The cheesy bread sticks that we ordered were also really flavorless. I like Papa Murphy’s, Pizza Pie Café, Tenney’s, and even Little Caesar’s better than this stuff.

Wow! I love this place! One of the few places around American Fork where you can get a quality pizza that doesn’t taste like all the chain pizzarias. Last night really burst my bubble though. I called Pier 49 Pizza at 6:45pm on New Year’s Eve to order about $ 200 in pizzas, bread and salad. Keep in mind, I’ve owned a pizza joint and I know that New Year’s Eve is among the busiest and most important nights in the pizza biz. When I called I was expecting to be told there would be a long wait time or that their delivery drivers would be so bogged down that I would need to come pick it up. Instead what I was told was that they were closed for the evening. WHAT?! What in Sam Hell is going on there?! Who the heck is running that place?! Who in their right mind would close a pizza joint on a New Year’s Eve?! I inquired if I had heard right, «You’re closed?» The reply, «Yes, so the employees can be with their families.» Yeah. That’s what’s happening. All those 18 and 19 year old kids are hanging out with their families. No manager or owner in their right mind truly believes that. This is just lazy business management. To add insult to injury, when I asked if they were really closing(because I still thought this had to be a joke) the punk hung up on me! I seriously couldn’t believe it. How would anyone sabotage their own business this way? I have to believe the owner isn’t that stupid. I hope for the owner’s sake that this was the result of an inexperienced and idiotic business manager who made a decision without the knowing of the owner. If this is not the case, the owner needs to find a new line of work because business failure is right around the corner. I shouldn’t be so surprised. I remember the day not to long ago when Pier 49 had packed dining rooms and long lines to order. We went there the other night before a movie and the place was a ghost town. Furthermore, the lady at the register(I believe she may have been the inept manager) was less than cordial and didn’t make me feel like I needed to return. Sad really because the pizza is tasty. Still, I don’t know if I will be back. Still haven’t determined that yet.
