***UPDATE*** After my review the the owner reached out and totally rectified the situation. I have really enjoyed this place in the past and am grateful the owner took the time. We will for sure be back and I know the Valentines Special will be perfected tonight and tomorrow. DONT get sucked into the Valentine’s Day special! Not worth it at all. It’s a select desert desert menu(which our sweet server did not make clear). Plus the«flowers»(small carnations that look like they were plucked from outside) and chocolate(four Hersey kisses) are probably and extra .30 cents that you pay $ 7 per person for dollars for. The servers are great and we were well taken care of(except for the plate full of soap we had when we sat down to eat). But the hype of the special was so overdone and so disappointing. I do like this place but tonight it left a bad taste in my mouth and I won’t be doing anymore of their«specials».

Mixed feelings about this place. I have been twice now and both times were night and day of each other. The first time I went about a year ago the food was really good lots of flavor. The food was fast and always coming. Also our server was amazing. I wish I could remember his name now because it was the biggest tip I have ever given because he blew me away with have amazing he was. On our second visit it was terrible. There was a large party next to us of about 10 – 15 people but it wasn’t that busy. For some reason it took them 15 minutes just to seat us. The food had no flavor and was super dry. I saw our waiter once the entire night. He was with the other table all night. I couldn’t even get his attention to get my water refilled. I finally asked another waiter. I don’t know what the deal was but it has made me not want to go back. This is not a cheap place to eat so I expected the service I got before the first time I came. Not impressed.

The quality of the food here is amazing, you will be in a food coma! The lime Brazilian beverages were better than the ones I have had out in the LA area. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The buffet line for the salads and appetizers was small compared to other places I have been, but to be honest, I can’t find a justifiable complaint about this place. I will definitely return on my next trip to Utah.

I don’t often take the time to write a review but the food and service was great! The food was incredible. I would definitely recommend to all my friends and family and will be coming back in the future! They treated us great and were fast to get the food to us!

We tried to go here on Halloween. When we called at about 7 to check the wait she said there was no wait but they weren’t taking reservations after 7:30. No problem we were 10 minutes away. We showed up about 7:10 and the place was nearly empty. Another couple walked in before us and we were both told it would be about five minutes to be seated. After five minutes it was clear that they had no intention of seating us. We got up to walk out and the hostess asked if we were leaving and we said we were going to try and find something else. The hostess said ok, not caring or possibly happy that we were leaving. Seems like they didn’t want any business so they could leave early to get to Halloween activities. I wish they would have just said there were closing when we called. That’s what the next restaurant we tried said. No biggie. I can’t comment on the food or anything else here. In general I like Rodizio and we have had good meals in Salt Lake City and Nashville, but with poor management that doesn’t actually like paying customers and employees that don’t want jobs or tips we won’t be coming back.

This was probably the worst experience ever and most expensive. The food was greasy and the salads were soaked in mayo. Every piece of meat was over cooked and overly chewy. Stay clear go to Tucanos. We ordered a mojito and the bottom of the glass was filled with sugar! We got up and left after 15 minutes.

We really enjoy this restaurant. It is nice to have a quiet good quality restaurant near home. The food is great service is very nice and the atmosphere is excellent for a date night.

OK the best reason I like this restaurant is because it’s relly not too crowded which makes it really easy to get in get you dinner and get out and it’s buy the movie theaters. It’s not as good as Tucano’s per se for what it is I like it and I don’t mind coming here often. My wife actually prefers this place better than Tucano’s so I recommend Tim

Went to Rodizio thinking this place was Tucanos, and was VERY disappointed. The salad bar was lacking everything including fresh lettuce. The potato salad was tangy and pungent. The manager stopped by asking us if everything was good we told him the salad bar was not great and he said he would look into it. The one good thing positive was the meat guy came out fast and provided fresh meat. And the service was really good.(it should be since the place was empty) *remember this place is no Tucanos not even close.

This is an amazing experience. All of the meats are so good and the service is very attentive. I’m not much of a salad bar guy but this one has so many options it is hard to choose and leave room for meat. Last time we were there we tried the featured BBQ.

Best restaurant in the valley hands down! I love this place! Service is top notch, always accommodating requests and never leaving me wanting more! I’ve never been to Brazil; however dining at Rodizio grill, makes me feel like I’ve been to Brazil many times! My favorite menu items are the top sirloin, sweet and spicy chicken(especially with ranch), the tri-tip, and of course the glazed pineapple(who thought fruit would actually be something to look forward to at a steak house!!)! The best part is that all these items are all you can eat! My wife and I love the variety, seems like there is always something new they are offering. This is our go to restaurant when we have family or friends in town!

Rodizio Grill is a fabulous place to choose for any occasion! My husband and I have been to Tocanos many times, but we would choose RODIZIOGRILL anytime, any day of the week after our experience there! The staff was absolutely wonderful. They greeted us upon arrival and we were seated quickly. They explained how everything worked very well and we felt like royalty with the way their staff treated us. We were never waiting on the meats to be brought around, it seemed like I couldn’t eat the meat fast enough before they were bringing another round of something delicious. The flavor of each unique meat was exquisite. The salad bar was also delicious and had loads of choices to meet any needs. I will choose RODIZIOGRILL over and over again, and you should too. It was absolutely wonderful. Overall experience was ton notch, and an 10 on a scale of 1 – 10.

I consider this the sub-par cousin of Tucanos. This is the McDonalds of the Brazilian experience, unfortunately. Small salad/side bar as compared to Tucanos, not very well stocked either. A few times we had to wait 10+ minutes for new rolls. The sides were disappointing, and had a cafeteria feel to them. The décor/ambiance was also cafeteria feeling(Read: cheap). The space wasn’t as well utilized as Tucanos, and it felt fairly squished. However, the meats were good! Juicy, tasty, and flavorful. The service was also excellent. The staff was eager to take care of you, and the meat came quick and steadily. Overall, if you have a choice between Tucanos and this place, I’d put your money in Tucanos!

Large plates with friendly severs are a bad combination! It doesn’t take long to go beyond your girth into a food coma. Plenty of meat choices and an extensive salad bar will assist with your caloric consumption. The assado was a personal favorite. Others enjoyed everything! Most of the items on their menu are now gluten free!!! More to add to your problems. They are currently offering a discount for a four top. Take advantage and do your Unilocal checkin! Enjoy a tasty nap when you are finished.

The service and the meat are so good here. The staff made our experience memorable and fulfilled every request we made. Also the meats are just amazing. I’ve been here several times in the past, and either we got them on a good night or they have improved because everything about our meal was top notch. Do not waste your time with the salad bar — it’s great, but you must save room for the garlic sirloin, the sweet and sour chicken, the grilled pineapple, and those little cheesy balls. I wish I lived here so I could eat at Rodizios every day.

First time here and it turned out to be a very enjoyable experience. The food was excellent the service was out standing. They were always on top of it. It was fun to try the variety of flavorful meats all of which were outstanding. Our server was prompt and pleasant. We will be back for sure.

I’m on the border of 2 stars. I think I’d rather go to Tucano’s. We went on a slow afternoon. The restaurant was nearly empty, but we had to wait 5 minutes in the front while they prepared a table. When we were brought in, nearly half the tables in our section were dirty. Some of they remained dirty during our entire meal. That’s just not the way to do things. I see that I’m not the first person to recognize that. The meat was pretty good. They made a real effort to have the choices prepared how we would like them. That’s what kicked it up to 3 stars. It’s obvious the space is re-purposed from the previous restaurant. There’s no open firepit area others have. The flow and sections is terrible. It’s all wrapped in a nice bow, but it just doesn’t work. I don’t dine at all you can eat places very often. I think I’ll continue that trend.
