Doctor is a nice guy which is why I gave this place another shot. This is the second time I’ve had to wait for ever. The wait time is completely unacceptable and it is like no one cares. Don’t schedule so many people if you are going to be so behind every time. This will be my last time visiting here. Going to look for a place that gets people in and out at a reasonable speed. Disappointed.

Overall good experience — wait time was average and the doctor was nice! The sales manager was also nice and I was able to order a pair of glasses fairly quickly. The selection of frames wasnt the absolute greatest but was ok. Haven’t picked up my glasses yet though and was told it may be up to 10 days!

These people are horrible. Don’t expect to be seen when they tell you. They must have searched far and wide to find their staff consisting of the most incompetent people in Atlanta.

I originally went to the Cumberland Mall Atlanta GA VisionWorks because they carry Michael Kors frames. I have purchased 4 pairs in 2 years. My first couple of visits went well — staff was knowledgeable and friendly, although there were long wait times on the weekends. I just bought 2 more pairs 1−10−15 and will not be back after I pick these frames up. The manager is rude, condescending and couldn’t care less how long you have to wait. Zero customer service skills and personality. The good people disappeared, and there are maybe 1 or 2 employees who know anything about fitting glasses. Stay away!

Called in the morning asking to make an appointment. Lazy clerk told me to walk in and assured it would not be a problem. I am still waiting for my eye exam two hours later. Never again will I come to Visionworks at Cumberland. Stay away if you value your time.

Do not ever go to this location for any reason! This was the worst customer service I have ever received hands down. They advertise a $ 45 eye exam. I clearly stated on my paperwork as well as verbally that I was there to get contacts. After my exam the girl said that I owed $ 116. I pointed out to her that the sign in front of the store says $ 45 for an exam. She then informed me that’s only for eye glasses and not contacts. They would not give me my money back, and the manager was so completely rude It was shocking. I wish I could give them zero stars.

I’ve jumped between contacts and glasses for years and recently went to see Dr. Carus to get a new contact prescription. I cannot emphasize this enough, NEVER go here. Every time I visited (which was 5 times to finally get the right contact prescription) Dr. Carus treated me as though he wanted nothing more than to get me out of his office. Each time I was sent home with uncomfortable or hazy contacts and told to give it a couple days. I know what contacts are supposed to feel like. I have worn them for years. Each time he had me try on another set, he treated me as though it was my fault and went to the next room to complain. I can only assume he has a dart board with random prescriptions in the back and each time he would throw the dart to see which one to try next. I really feel sorry for his staff. They were nice and I could tell that they were really just tired of trying to run damage control on his rudeness and mistakes. This place may be slightly cheaper than some others but do yourself a favor and pay a little more to get quality service and a prescription that actually fits.

I would give 0 stars if I could.
Of all people, the Doctor was the most rude person in the store.
After calling ahead to ask about hours of operation, I was told the last appointment would be taken at 4:30. I arrived at 4, started filling out paperwork, only then to be told that they would not have enough time to complete my request. And the doctor was the one to make me feel like it was my fault for not knowing this already.
Listen to the other reviewers and avoid this place!

I recently visited this Vision Works for an eye exam for contacts. I was greeted and promptly helped as soon as I arrived which was as soon as they opened. After filling out the paperwork I was waiting in the waiting area when one of the female employees began talking to a coworker about work that another coworker didn’t do the day before. They continued to talk about the other coworker until I went back for my exam.
Long story short aside from the gossip, the visit was a good one. The Dr. was thorough, friendly, and professional. He made me feel comfortable with small talk which was nice.
Overall it was a good visit and I would return.
