I consider myself a pretty reasonable person. Level headed and forgiving of restaurant staff if delivery of food tends to be on the lengthier side. I’ve only been to Mugshots twice and would say that my first visit was to enjoy a brief time out with friends late one evening. Nothing special here folks. Just a neighborhood sports bar littered with pool tables and some run of the mill bar arcade games. My second visit was a disaster to say the least. We came for lunch hour which happened to correspond with a time allotted for a trivia championship. Couple of my friends were here to participate in the trivia session while the majority of us came to eat. If a bar invites and opens its doors to welcome participants to a game of trivia you would think that they would anticipate more than average crowds and staff to accommodate! With that said let’s just say 5 of us waited for our foods(all consisting of burgers) for a little under 2 hours! I wish I could say that this was an exaggeration. Never have I waited this long for my food to come out. Even worse is the fact that all of us who ordered medium burgers ended up with well done and an extra helping of burnt outer shells! I graciously asked our waitress how many cooks they had in the back and we were answered with 3. My question is HOW can 5 burgers take almost 2hrs to cook? Even my cousin ended up cancelling her order and walking out due to her having prior engagements. We were consistently told the food would be out in «a couple minutes» and we would end up waiting 30 mins more. I understand that if a establishment is busy you would expect to wait but 2hrs? Seriously?! Management didn’t help much either in affirming patrons of the wait in food delivery. I would have given this a 1 star but the management comped our meal as a means to appease our frustration with service and delivery. So I’ll allow them to have 1 more star. Maybe this was just a bad day to visit but being that the food was nothing special and the service meh I’ll have to remember to grab some McDonalds before I come for another game of trivia. Would this establishment get another visit? Highly doubt it…

Mugshots is a great neighborhood sports bar with a lot of TVs, a great and varied menu and a good atmosphere, particularly during the NFL season. I’ve been coming here for a few years to watch the N.Y. Giants games and have rarely had a bad experience(though there have been a handful … though over maybe 3 years, that’s not at all shabby). On Mon. nights, I believe you can get all-you-can-eat wings for $ 10(or maybe less?), and they appear to have lunch specials during the weekdays and drink specials during football games. During the NFL season, Mugshots gets a lot of Giants and Steelers fans, but no one is ever rowdy or anything like that. I will admit that the Giants fans and I have made a lot of noise during our team’s games — win or lose — but we’ve always been welcomed back and have never caused any kind of problem.(That I know of, anyway.) The Steelers fans have never done so, either, so this isn’t anywhere that fights break out or anything despite the large number of football fans in there during the season’s Sundays. Fans from other assorted teams frequent Mugshots as well, though mostly keep to themselves at the bar area as that’s where most of the TVs are. The service is always pretty good, though a few times I’ve been left wondering what happened. During a game earlier this season, I ordered a pitcher of beer two separate times … and it never came. Granted, that afternoon they were very busy, and there were a lot of people in the area in which I was sitting, so maybe my beer ended up being accidentally served to someone else. No idea, really. Anyway, sometimes things like that happen … not just here, but anywhere … so you just have to chalk it up to bad luck or an honest mistake. No big deal. I was probably better off not drinking beer that day anyway since the Giants blew an enormous, seemingly-insurmountable lead to Philadelphia that day and ultimately lost. Maybe the server inadvertently did me a favor by not bringing my beer. I was pretty upset after the game ended. Oh, well. The food’s really good, though all I’ve ever eaten here is the quesadillas, burgers, fish & chips and wings. I’m sure the rest is just fine, too. The all-you-can-eat wings on Mon. nights is a great deal, though the one time I tried it I couldn’t figure out the pattern — the server kept bringing wings, but only a couple at a time … you didn’t get the same amount every time. I’m not a wing person, so I don’t know if this is normal or not. You can switch them up each time you order or need more, so that’s cool. Anyway, if you’re in the area, check this place out — it’s great during football games. Also a cool spot to stop in with friends for a few drinks any other time. There are pool tables in the room at the very end. Good times. It seems to be an okay place for kids … some adults I’ve watched the Giants with here have brought theirs, and didn’t seem to mind a little bit of bad language being used. Smoking is permitted inside, though it doesn’t seem that the majority of customers smoke. Most do at the bar, but not so much in the other areas. Just FYI.

Gotta Love Mugs… They’d get 5 stars if they still had drink specials on Wednesdays Wings, wings and more wings. extra crispy, super hot, with honey and grilled. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. Wash it down with a Sam Adams seasonal and get to know Tina, the waitress, she’ll take good care of ya. To boot, they get Habs games. waka waka…

This just like any other bar around Orlando but on Thursdays it is packed and i came here right after work late at night and the place was still full with a lot of people including good looking females, there is pool tables and darts you can play with or if you feeling good you can dance in the other room. Best time to go is on Thursday everything is half of and beer is cheap and for a good price you can drink/dance and meet new people. They also offer a menu with food typical of a bar Salads, Sandwiches etc.

When I first walked into this place, my thoughts were«What’s so special about this place?» Many of my friends are faithful regulars here. Really, it seems that all of it’s customers are regulars. Almost everyone knows everyone else or at least knows them by the end of the night. Most nights they have a live band which is pretty good. There’s several pool tables, but you have to get there early if you want to secure one. Drinks are moderately priced and not bad. Just be prepared to smell of smoke when you leave. Overall, if you want a laid back bar and looking to meet new people, try Mugshots Sports Bar & Grill.
