Froggers Grill & Bar

This is a welcome alternative to Gators, Graffiti Junktion, and RG Brewski’s. It’s relatively new, so the errors in orders and checks were forgiven. By now they should have their process down, but there are still minor issues… nothing bad. The burgers are good, tots are great, but the wings are sometimes pretty dry. I do like the layout of the restaurant, with plenty of TV’s, several pool tables, and games that the kids like to play. They have a good draft beer selection as well as the craft beer wall… pretty nice touch. The main issue is the continued delay in getting drinks. It takes FOREVER to get beer to the table. You would think they would WANT to get the beer quick in hopes you drink it and order another! But nope, been 8 or 9 times and it’s the same every time. They are losing sales this way!!!

Great food. I had a great time. Great location. They have a lot of tv and lots of room.

The food is pretty good but we always sit at the bar and their service is terrible. They have drink specials that aren’t very special.

We sat a dirty table for 20 mins before we had to go search for a waitress to clear our table and give us menus. After another 15 mins our waitress showed up. On a Tuesday night you would not expect them to be so inattentive because it was not very busy.
After that the food came out on time and was pretty good. The service keeps me from wanting to come back.

The balding moron of a manager just lost a very regular, high tipping customer over a 3 dollar Caesar salad. Management is terrible. The majority of the staff is great. Such a shame they lost a good customer over such petty stuff,

Ate here with my family for the first time the other night. The food was fantastic and our server Jessica was also fantastic! We will be back!

Cool atmosphere. That’s it. Food is bar food. Servers do there job nicely. Manager was rude.

Service is absolutely horrible. Food is mediocre. Tvs everywhere cool. Full bar cool. Oh did I mention service was horrible. If I ever do comeback it’d be because I was invited. Will not order food that’s for sure.

Slow service and cold food. The bartender who was waiting on us had no business being behind the bar. The food came out after quite some time and was cold. The bartender never came to check on us so we couldn’t really do much. We picked at it a little.
$ 4 for a yingling?!
Also don’t order the blue cheese it’s «homemade» on basically mayo with some parsley in it.

We decided to give Froggers a try, after the restaurant we wanted to go first had too long of a wait. We are very happy we decided to eat here. My wife ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, it was huge and delicious. The chicken overflows the bun on all sides. She ordered french fries as her side. They where nice and crispy with a good flavor (I found them similar to Checkers fries). I decided to try the 9 inch cheese pizza since I was not very hungry. I am a big fan of pizza, so this being a sports bar, I was not expecting much. The pizza tasted like they make thier dough. The cheese was a good amount. The sauce was nothing exciting, but worked. Overall a decent pizza that I enjoyed. I will for sure come here to eat again very soon.

Great wings and good drink specials. Cool place to watch a game and grab a bite.

There’s a new Froggers in town! Man this location is awesome first and foremost, the restaurant is big, there are tv’s all around so sporting events can’t be missed! There is outside seating along with an outside bar so smokers have their own space.
Due to the location being new, I expected service to be rusty, but it actually was great once we got it! I didn’t order food, but my friend did and it looked GOOD! He also said it tasted great! There are daily specials on food and drinks and it seems as though they’ve expanded their menu!
Now for the beer wall, what a great idea! There are few options that include ales, porters, pilsners, stouts, IPAs, ciders, and fruit beers. You get a wristband that goes with the selected beer tap and you can sample a beer with a small glass out of the coolers and then use a pint glass to pour the beer of your choice. You are charged by the ounce and the prices vary.

New, clean, convenient location! I stopped in with a friend for a drink and a bite and was pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of seats at the bar, the service was super attentive and friendly, and the food/​drinks were great! This may be my new favorite location.

The only good thing about this place is the tap beer wall. There is craft beer that you pour yourself and you can try as much as you want and they charge you per ounce. Our server was not good, she hardly checked on us. My husband got the grilled wings and they were dry as heck so he ordered extra sauce and they charged a dollar for that.
Her customer service skills were not great. She barely smiled. I didn’t feel like I should tip her based on our drinks since we poured our them ourselves at the tap wall.
My sister in law ordered a salad that was weirdly small. It has so much blue cheese and chicken but not enough lettuce (which is cheap for them) to balance it out. She ordered it without onions and she still got them. They were all at the bottom chopped up in a weird way, not just the standard rings at the top of a salad which are easy to pick out.
Needless to say, unless we want to just play pool and drink beer, I won’t be coming back here.

Great place to enjoy casual dining. Britney was our server and was excellent. White pizza was delicious and I would highly recommend it. We need Froggers in Tampa!6

Huge new froggers! Got some wings and a burgers and extra bleu cheese because they have the best bleu cheese in town! It was really busy for a Sunday but football was on and they have sooooooooooo many big screens! Service was good for how busy it was.
It was a pick up order so I’ll give another review next time I sit in. But awesome location!

Being from Apopka, froggers is kind of a staple when your home and craving something nostalgic. This unfortunately was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant, even in Apopka.
I tasted a sauce that I’d never had, like it, and ordered my wings to be tossed in such. When they arrived to the table they were so spicy that they became less than enjoyable after just the first wing. I knew that they had been tossed in a container that had something spicier then I ordered causing my food to be wrong when delivered.
I walked to the back, wings in hand, and brought it to the manager Dougs attention. He treated me like I was completely incompetent because the wings I had ordered were flavored with habinero, as to pose the question of why one who didn’t like spicy food would order such a thing.
He made the mistake completely my fault, the customer, and even posed an attitude when delivering the new wings. The saving grace of the whole experience was our server Amber D. She’s the breath of fresh air the stale minded management needs. Thy should try a little role reversal and see how great this new establishment would run with the excellent customer service Amber provide.
Don’t be in any kind of hurry, and make sure you order only what you know to be certain your taste buds will enjoy. I wouldn’t want you to upset the management staff!

Came for birthday party with large group. Even with three servers we have been here 2 ½ hours and just got our check. Food came out in batches and several in our party did not get their food until after everyone else was done. This is a new location and it looks like they need more training or a better manager.

I love Froggers’ hot wings, and the service at this location (during its soft opening) seems very good. The restaurant was clean and has a nice, open layout. The draft selection was good, too, featuring Cigar City Jai Alai and a few other good beers in addition to the typical macrobrew wing bar lineup.
The wings are reasonably priced, and they are delicious. Good selection of games on the TV, too. The entire Froggers chain tends to be Pittsburgh Steelers focused, but not to the extent that it’s obnoxious if they’re not your team.

Great place to watch some football or take the family! The food was outstanding! The craft beer bar was the highlight of our night! Great beer selection at the bar as well. The service was good. You gotta give these servers a break its brand new and everyone is learning. It was our servers first day and we were her first table, she did outstanding! This will be my regular spot from now on!
