I want to start this review by saying that I paid almost $ 5 for a cup of guacamole. I don’t mind if the guac is good, but it was terrible. It was runny and was not even seasoned. I want to say it tasted bitter. I almost couldn’t get past that! My daughter ordered taquitos and guess what that came with? You guessed it, that nasty guacamole. We’ve been here at least seven times and the food has been pretty good, but lately it hasn’t been. The shredded beef tacos that I ordered were good, but I couldn’t put that guacamole on them. We ordered our food to go, so guess what I did when I got home? That’s right, made some decent guacamole! Tio’s, taste the guacamole at El Cerrito and try to replicate it. Guacamole is one of the cornerstones of a good Mexican restaurant.

Don’t know about the home cooked taste people talk about. It was mediocre. The taste was definitely scaled down a bit in my opinion. Would I eat here agin? Sure why not there isn’t much of a selection in this area. I had the chile verde wet burrito. One star for service, second for Effort and third for taste

Yummy. I come here a lot and the food is great. The staff are very helpful. It’s clean. They are close to home. Never had any problems.

It has been so long since we’ve dined here and to my dismay, the food and service was terrible. This used to be our go to local spot for home cooked Mexican food but as of this weekend we will not be back. We ordered menudo and the meat was not cleaned properly which made the soup have a funky smell. Also it tasted as it was previously frozen. The tortillas were gummy and hardened quickly. I also ordered a shredded beef hard shell taco and the meat was not seasoned at all. $ 35 and we left hungry. We will not be back.

My husband and I are always at the Tio’s off of Day Creek where the Sprouts is. They recognize us there and ask«Where’ve you guys been??» if we skip a week or two. We decided to try the one on Lemon Avenue over the weekend(same owner). Although Tio’s isn’t the best Mexican food I’ve had, it still hits the spot when we are craving(especially the Chilaquiles and Chile Verde). We came in around 10:30AM for brunch and ordered two Mexican salads(one with chicken and one with beef). The salads come with guacamole, sour cream, and salsa on top(no dressing). This Tio’s has one of those fancy touch screen soda machines.(Oooh, Ginger ale…) The negatives to this location are definitely the parking lot(It’s more spacious at the Day Creek location) and the seating because it’s kind of cramped inside. Other than those differences, everything else is the same. Chips and salsa and menu items. Check out @Rancho_Cucamonga_Eats on Instagram. 45⁄100 Reviews for 2015

They used to have good bean and cheese burritos but the last couple of times I’ve ordered here they have become smaller, the cheese is not melted, and I feel like I am biting into more tortilla then actual bean and cheese. Won’t be returning.
