Taco Mac

Just ordered online here for lunch. Wings were decent but the MAC And CHEESE was definitely KRAFT! I’ve ordered Mac and cheese with my meal here before and have NEVER been given this poor substitute. Glad there’s not an up charge for that fake powdered cheese mess. I really wanted some macaroni :(since I don’t like there fries. Guess I won’t be going here anymore for my chicken fix.

I hate to do this as I am a Taco Mac fan, but this place is changing and not for the better. I would swear to anyone that would listen that these are the best wings anywhere. However, it seems like Taco Mac is trying to be like other wing places lately and add all of these new sauces. It’s good still, but it’s nothing like it used to be.

Had a great lunch, excellent beer selection, awesome bar staff, love the beer rewards program!

Service is the worst here. Whether you dine in or takeout, service is horrendous. Must have terrible management. Last time we went, the lettuce in my salad was brown and our server kept itching his ankle and putting his hand in his shoes… gross. Pretty sure he was on drugs. Time before, we did takeout and it took forever for anyone to acknowledge me, then our entire order was wrong. Some of their food is decent but it’s definitely not worth suffering through their God awful service.

This place offers crap service if you are not lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. Two weeks in a row, waited 15 mins to get someone to show up, then 15 more to get first drink.

Hello 2016… first review this year! Took my work team to Taco Mac for lunch today… planned to talk about 2016… but…the restaurant was so COLD that we did not stick around after eating!
Been to several Taco Mac’s…the food is basic bar food… but done pretty well. Wifey and I really like their nachos. Today I got their Apple and Goat Cheese salad, it was really good as well.
BUT…REALLY? The restaurant today was so Coke that we kept our heavy coats on! We complained, but the manager did not even come talk to us. Our waitress told us that two other tables had complained as well… and nothing was done…
Probably will not return… I know it will warm up… but…not even addressing it with a customer is a BIG problem!

Food was bad. Flatbread was burnt brown. Service was good this time but food was just problematic.

Love the place. Lots of tv’s. Good food. Good location. Outdoor patio is really nice. Had a not so pleasant experience today with a member of the wait staff that wasn’t that friendly or attentive. After speaks with the manager I accepted the sincere apology and he made sure to take care of the table. His gesture was appreciated and we will return.

We have always had great experiences at this Taco Mac. Service is always great, staff is personable. And then I got food poisoning on a black bean burger. And now their amazing beer selection and laid back atmosphere is a little less appealing.

It was Friday night and it had been a long post-​Thanksgiving week. I was tired of several days of turkey and needed a treat. I figured there would be a long wait for a seat but was surprised to get seated right away. The service was prompt and I ordered my old favorite — regular wings in Death sauce, fries and a blue cheese wedge salad. The wedge was tasty but only had three tiny tomatoes, maybe ½ a slice of crumbled bacon and I had to ask for some additional blue cheese dressing. The wings and fries were hot and cooked just right. Overall a tasty meal and good experience. I’ll keep coming back.

Lots of beers on tap and TVs everywhere! I found one of my favorite beers here, Southern Tier Pumking! Great staff, always making sure your drink doesn’t go empty. I thought food was decent, but let’s face it you’re here to watch a game and have a drink.

The service was good but the food was terrible. The wings were a good size and the sauce ok, but that’s the extent of it (well the margarita was good according to the wife).
The flat bread was cold, the fries looked like they leftover bits and pieces, the side of Mac and cheese was mad small, like they were conserving cheese for the apocalypse and it took forever to get very poor-​mediocre food.
I’ve heard a lot of great things about Taco Mac since we moved to Georgia and the atmosphere is awesome. The food is pretty gross actually. It will suffice for a drunken Sunday afternoon but it’s not a family dinner or night out with the wife place. I make better food and I suck at cooking.
I won’t be coming back.

The place wasn’t packed, we ordered the large queso and chips but it came out with our food, which was unfortunate. The place looked nice I enjoyed the television and the bar area. There was a large selection of beers on tap. It wasn’t busy so it was unfortunate that the waiter kept walking by and we had to ask for drink refills and ask for an update on our appetizer. Queso and chips shouldn’t take as long as it did. I got the mild wings and they were dryer than expected but they were decent.

3.75 stars.
Taco Mac is the quintessential Atlanta sports bar to me. Good food. Lots of beers. Decent service. And lots and lots of TVs with all your favorite sports.
Open way late, too, for those late night munchies.
If you’re in Atlanta and want to watch sports with the locals, Taco Mac is sure thing.

Been over a week and the ac is still not working making the experience horrible not coming back until this is resolved
Usually good for hanging and decent beer selection but not at the moment. It’s hotter inside than outside so I suggest staying away until fixed.

Memorial Day … Half the tables are empty. 15 minute wait.
Seven people seated at a table for six.
Takes forever to get someone’s attention.
Takes forever to order.
Wait staff is constantly in the kitchen and not attentive at all.
Wings come out in 5 minutes. Followed by the starter salads. The other three entrees are ten minutes later.
There are messy tables that have not been bussed all over the place. Some haven’t had activity in 30 minutes.
The service at this location is terrible, has been terrible for a while, and is not getting better. If you’re the owner and see this, beware: people are driving to Roswell and Cumming to avoid your Taco Mac.

Candace is a gem! We came in to watch the MSU v OSU game and she helped us find a seat near one of the only screens showing the game!
The beer list is unbelievable!
The lighting is appropriate for watching the big game.

What this isn’t an authentic Mexican cuisine restaurant?! The name is very misleading! LOL! Never been to Taco Mac. Nice place though! Flat screens everywhere! This would be a great place for large groups to come watch sports and etc! I ordered a turkey burger and onion rings which was pretty decent. I sat at the bar and the bartender was pretty cool too. The greeter had a great attitude as well! Food came out in a reasonable time and my order was correct. Last but not least, the bathrooms were hideous and disgusting! What a bummer! The eating area and the lavatory were night and day! They weren’t as bad as gas station bathrooms you find in the middle of nowhere between two major cities with a toothless cashier but if someone doesn’t give this area some TLC it will get there eventually! Would I go back? Yes I would.

This place– although no wear near the town of atlanta this hidden gem is a place to be reckoned with! The first time I came here it was not the best experience but the GM James called me a few times to see if he could make it a better experience. With new menu items from the last visit I decided to give it a try. This place– bet experience from the time we were seated until the time we left! The food I ordered… Fish and chips with malt vinegar! This selection was like pirate Jesus made it himself. It was cookedto perfection with nice size pieces of fish– the tartar and coleslaw was just as good. Rachael my server was very attentive and sensitive to the first experience. She made everything right as well as the other staff who participated. I rarely give 5 stars, but this place sent me to the moon and back

Taco Mac is pretty much a sports bar that is known for its buffalo wings and has a huge selection of beers. The food is pretty similar to what you would find at places like Applebees and TGI Fridays, but I think I Taco Mac is my favorite, so for what it is, I give it 4 stars.
I’ve been to several locations, but this is my first review of one. Service at this location was pretty good. We had a big party (15 – 20 people) and they did well accommodating us for lunch. I guess b/​c it was lunch, they were a little short on servers, but the one server we had handled herself pretty well. And the food came out pretty quickly considering how many people there were. We were in and out in 1.5hrs
For starters, i’m a big fan of both their Queso options. Especially the con carne. The beef is well seasoned and just goes really well with the Queso.
Again their known for their buffalo wings and you have your option of 3 different levels of heat. They aren’t overwhelmingly hot for me, but I have a high threshold for spicy food. They also have other sauces such as Hickory BBQ, Sweet Chili, and Habanero. They probably change out their sauces a couple times a year. You can chose between boneless, regular, and oven roasted.
Overall the wings are good, but not the best I’ve ever had.
The burgers are all pretty good. I tend to switch out the beef patties for a turkey patty and it’s really good (I typically dislike turkey burgers). Mushroom steak is my favorite. The mushrooms are huge and flavorful and the bacon is cooked perfectly.
Other items I’ve tried and are all good options include the fajitas and chicken philly.
