Went there last week for the last time. Slow service. Waited ages for water. They forgot the toast, the panckakes and never came back for refills on water. The staff in the kitchen were whooping it up like it was a free for all. Shouting, laughing and even heard one woman says she was going to go out and whoop some mo fu***ng a**, I had my children with me and it wa s a disgrace.

I have been to multiple Ihops in multiple cities and states over the last quarter century or so and I have fond memories of decent grub from seafood omelets, to fluffy hotcakes, to crispy bacon. This is not the Ihop that I remember as a youngster or even 5 or 6 years ago. There was seriously nothing good on my plate this day. I mean, nothing! I got scrambled eggs with cheese. They came out looking like they were wet and they were devoid of cheese. The server noticed and immediately returned them to the kitchen. They came back with cheese melted, but they were obviously«scrambled» on the flat top using spatulas. They were not scrambled so much as chopped. They had the consistency of cottage cheese and I hate cottage cheese. My bacon was super thin and not crisp. The pork links were tasty and overcooked. The hash browns? The hash browns looked like they had some crisp. Alas, they did not. They were bland and limp. Finally, my triple stack. They came out on a plate that was more of a saucer. The plate and the pancakes were practically the same diameter. This presented issues when attempting to syrup them as the syrup poured onto the table. The pancakes were doughy and difficult to cut — even with a knife! The wife ordered blueberry double stack and she managed to get through those. She ordered a side of smoked sausage and was taken aback when they brought her hotdogs. Next time I am in this area for breakfast, I will be traveling a little ways down the street to The Original Pancake House. By leaps and bounds it is far superior than Ihop. It would appear that Ihop and I have come to the end of an era. So long…

Service is s bit too slow, place is a bit dirty, food was ok. Enjoy their banana pudding pan cake. Pot roast tasted like processed meat.

I’ve been coming here for over 6 years and over the last 6 months this place has tanked. We waited 10 minutes just for a waiter to come over, an extra 10 minutes for water even though tables seated after us received their waters immediately. And after being told they ran out of mushrooms for the omelet, we waited 20 minutes for our food and once they brought out the order I was told they ran out of chocolate chips and couldn’t make the chocolate chip pancakes I requested 20 minutes ago! Needless to say, our family will not be returning to the ihop that was once our favorite.

I go to this place probably once a month, because my kids like it. Usually, it’s okay. But lately, they’ve gone downhill. Last time, the egg substitute was horrible. I’ve had it before, and it’s usually good. But that time, it was just off. Today, it was bad almost all around. I guess they were crowded because of Father’s Day or whatever, but you’d think they’d know to staff a little better on certain days? The service was pretty slow. It was about 5 minutes before the guy took our drink order. And then it took a long time to get our food. Aside from that, it was quite warm and muggy inside of the restaurant. It felt like a sauna. I mentioned that to the checkout lady and she indicated that the AC was broken, but that it got fixed yesterday. I don’t think so. Not sure if I’ll ever go back to this one.

The hospitality here tops the other restaurants I’ve been to! Staff are always so courteous!

«I am not a glutton, I am an explorer of food» Erma Bombeck The menu of IHOP the«International» House of Pancakes would certainly be quite an exploration of food. Pancake options include New York Cheesecake, chocolate chocolate chip, raspberry white chocolate chips, Cinn-A-Stack(cinnamon roll filling with cream cheese icing) and double blueberry. French toast and waffles are no less decadent with cinnamon swirl and bananas foster. Is this breakfast or dessert? Both? Bressert??? My Double Blueberry Pancakes are here, time to explore…

When I went there one year ago the service was good. But these day, I went couple of times not to make make a hasty judgement. No body cared whether some one is at door waiting for a table. The food we got was not well done. I wont usually recommend people to avoid a place, But I feel you need to avoid this place, because there are many restaurants who care for your money.

I visited this place for lunch during the week and the service was much, much better than last time. We had a party of four and we were immediately seated and given menus. Our server, Eduardo, was awesome. He got all some waters to sip on while looking at the menu. The menu, by the way, has changed. It has a lot more pictures, and less text. It’s almost a picture books of all their menu items. But, as always, the menu is large and it’s hard to make a decision. I ordered the strawberry banana french toast combo with cheese scrambled eggs, two strips of bacon and hashbrowns for $ 7.99. The husband ordered the country fried steak and eggs. Our friends ordered the turkey club with fries and the breakfast sampler. We also ordered the appetizer sampler which came with mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders and onion rings. I didn’t even know IHOP had appetizers? Eduardo brought us coffee, napkins and extra condiments before the food arrived. All the drinks were replaced(just refilled). The food arrived shortly after ordering, maybe 6 minutes. My food was amazing. I haven’t had french toast in years and this hit the spot. Soft bread, drenched in strawberry glaze, topped with powered sugar — I was in heaven. I finished everything but the eggs. My husband pretty much licked his plate clean. The turkey club wasn’t finished and my friend’s breakfast sampler was demolished. Overall, it was a great lunch. Very filling. We skipped dinner because it was so filling. And you can’t beat the price, $ 7.99 for mine, $ 8.99 for my husband’s food, and the appetizer sampler was $ 7.79. So lesson learned: Visit during the week and never on New Year’s Day.

The server(Eduardo) was really nice. But the rest is ok or less. Especially don’t care for loud mouth servers walking around with shirts untucked. Management should also correct their staff quietly. It’s more drama than I like.

I’m not an IHOP fan, but I went this morning to meet a friend. Our server was wonderful — very kind and attentive. Go see Ivan. Great guy! Food was decent. I had a simple & fit pancake combo. The healthier combos still left enough leftover for another meal! The whole wheat pancakes were fluffy but somewhat dry. I didn’t care for the turkey bacon as it still felt a little greasy. Ordered hard-boiled eggs and they were perfectly cooked. Sure, you can find better food elsewhere, but you can’t really beat the prices here for the portions. And the service was unbeatable!

Food wasn’t terrible but also wasn’t spectacular. My main peeve is waiting longer than 30 minutes for pancakes/eggs/crêpe that shouldn’t take that long to prepare to begin with. Granted, it certainly was New Year’s day which may explain their lack of staff. While servers were abundant, I presume that the cook may have had trouble keeping up with food orders. There was already a 40 – 45 minute wait when we arrived(only took us 30 minutes to be sat contrary to the time frame they gave us) and then an additional 30 minutes for our food to be brought out. Our server was pleasant enough but I’m not sure that’s enough to get me to come back.

Expectations were not high when we go to IHOP. It is not a five star restaurant. It is good for breakfast. The food here is always cooked to expectations. The service is hit or miss. You have to chase your server around on Sunday. I was pleased to hear from the server that he was slammed and wanted to know if we need anything syrup or condiments when we ordered. Funny thing was he under estimated himself and was very attentive to our table any time he was in the room. It’s IHOP. It is OK.

I don’t know what this building was before but I’d lay money that it wasn’t a restaurant. The layout is very chopped up into very small rooms which has patrons sitting right on top of each other and everyone hears everyone else’s conversations, particularly those from the«loud talkers» in the room. Additionally, to get to the restrooms, you walk right through the servers’ station. Overall just very strange and a little on the dingy side to boot. The waitstaff is allowed to wear pretty much anything which further confuses the whole dining experience. On the bright side, our waitress was very professional, really out of place given the waitstaff serving those around us. The food was OK. None of us are huge pancake fans so I’m basing that assessment on the egg dishes, e.g. skillets and omelets, and the various sides. Given the numerous choices in the area, I will not return.

The service is mostly lackluster every time we go here, but we really like the pancakes. The last time I asked for scrambled eggs in shell, not artificial eggs, and what I got looked like a fried egg chopped up. I didn’t send them back but I should have.

IHOP isnt that bad — you just have to know what to order, even if it’s not on the menu! You can have the $ 10 breakfast sampler and all you can eat pancakes. The hidden gem is what they used to have on the menu but will still make it upon request. «Hamburger Club w/Cheese» that’s what it’s called and that’s how you order it. It’s basically a triple decker BLT with a cheesburger cut into triangles with fries. I haven’t eaten anything else at IHOP in 20 years-it’s just that good.
