This place is amazing, the food is incredibly delicious, healthy, great variety and totally vegan, I’d call it veganlicious, what else can I say? I wish it was closer to my house, but I don’t mind the trip for a great vegan meal, I also want to add that the price is also a plus, the restaurant is cozy, clean, comfortable and the staff always friendly. Oh, not to mention the juices. My kind of place.

Vegan bowls(grain or veggie base, your pick) with Asian, Mediterranean and American flavors. I tried the Mission and it was a happy party of textures and tastes, the sesame seeds provided a nice crunch compared to the smokey soft eggplant and chewy mushrooms while the cucumbers(not really smashed like the menu says but chopped which I think is better anyway) add a nice cool crisp and then it’s all married by a flavorful sauce. I got it on a warm bed of hearty brown rice and quinoa. Lots of great flavors and textures, makes me forget all about meat… Though I’m eating less and less meat anyways these days. I like that this place is run by meat eaters though, since they’re willing to open a vegan place they must know they have some tasty recipes.

I am borderline(okay, fully) obsessed with Whole Heart. I was devastated when Roots closed, as a vegetarian it’s hard to find unique, non-fried, non-dairy-filled dining options. Needless to say, Whole Heart has helped me pick up the pieces. Their bowls are outstanding– always fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and above all– delicious! My go to is either a Mission or a Seoul with the addition of roasted tofu *a must* and nutritional yeast. And the Falafel Dogs are pretty much what dreams are made of. Seriously, you have to have one. Or two. Or 5? Please don’t judge me. And the Horchata Kold Brew is a wonderfully inventive coffee drink that is perfect to wash it all down with. This place blew me away on my first visit and continues to do so each and every time. So happy you’re in the neighborhood Whole Heart! Keep up the phenomenal work.

I love Whole Heart Provisions. I go out of my way to eat there whenever I can. My favorites are the Miso and the Tazon… and I love everything else I’ve tried too. The corn, the brussell sprouts, the shishito peppers – YUM. The drink selection is also great. Try the macha lemonade, so good. The Sunday brunch is delicious too. I’ve tried the vegan huevos rancheros(with tofu) and the pumpkin pancakes, both delicious. I liked the food so much, I had them cater a lunch at my office because a new vegetarian employee was starting and the food was a hit. A coworker summed it up well when she said, «if I could eat this every day, I’d be a vegetarian!»

Massive downgrade from Root. It’s vegetables in a bowl, served cold. It’s a salad, folks, a salad. And you could make it yourself at home. The whole concept down to the plastic forks is cheap and lazy. There is no good explanation for why Root, one of my favorite vegan restaurants ever, had to morph into the brick and motor version of the Whole Foods salad bar. This sucks. Please close.

Wow! I am so glad I stopped by on my way home to check this place out. The falafel dogs were really good and the corn was delicious! Although it was different, I also really like the crunchy lentils on the seared avocado. Prices were also great as each of these were less than $ 5. I will definitely stop by with the boyfriend as he is a vegetarian also.

OVERDRESSEDVEGANBOWLS Although I am definitely not vegan, I do definitely enjoy occasional vegan meals! That being said, Whole Heart Provisions has some good qualities about it, but overall the food is over-marinated, over-dressed, and too salty. This is not a traditional vegan spot, as it has influences from Asian, Indian, Mexican, and American foods! You can mix-and-match your base for their signature bowls, so I did a mixture of rice and greens. I have tried the following bowls: VIET: The spicy peanut dressing on this salad is very thick and they put a lot of it into the bowl. The green beans and tomato were so over-marinated, they were practically dripping and left a watery residue when I finished my bowl. MISO: I do love the sesame crunch in this bowl. The orange miso dressing was more watery, but again, there was too much of it. This bowl has the strongest flavors and leaves your breath smelling like garlic and miso. TAZON: This is like an Asian-Mexican fusion, with pineapple corn salsa and Korean black beans. The corn nuts were a great added crunch to the bowl, but again the bowl got watery near the bottom because of all the marinades and dressing. + MISSION: This was the lightest tasting of all the bowls! The dressing and sauce was not too heavy and complemented the edamame, brussel sprouts, and eggplant well. ~ CRISPYBRUSSELS: The brussel sprouts are crispy and cooked well, but the spicy crema drizzled on this vegetable was way too overpowering. I love brussel sprouts on it’s own so this much sauce was really not necessary. Also, at $ 4.50 for a small side, this was definitely not worth it! Every dish that I have had here leaves my breath smelling very strong. It is apparent that they try to make vegetables more interesting by adding a lot of dressing and cooking the vegetables in lots of different flavors and marinades. I personally don’t need this much flavor added to my vegetables, so I didn’t enjoy this too much.

.. Did I just have an orgasm? INMYMOUTH?! I CANNOTBELIEEVVETHEFLAVORSTHATHAVECONSUMEDMYTASTEBUDS, sending them to heaven and down to earth again. My friend and I literally went NUTS. The seared avocado took us to Venus. The miso bowl and mission bowl left us speechless, we couldn’t fathom this concoction of beautiful veggies dancing inside of us. Oh my heart. My heart is so full and filled with love and life. I am born again.

Honestly some of the best food I have ever had in my life. Miso bowl with roared tofu and brown rice/quinoa pilaf was heavenly. The dressing was amazing and the crush of the chickpeas with the smoothness of the rice was awesome. The Brussel sprouts were truly the most phenomenal food I have EVER had. So much complex flavored working together to make a perfect food. And the abs ado was stellar… heavy on then za’tar spice so it’s best to take in small bites with a little bit from the top then some of the avocado from underneath. The local iced cider was also incredible. I will be back.

Loved the cassie, falafel dog is out of this world and the seared avocado is a must have side dish. The salads are a great portion size and its pretty amazing that all the premade salads have the right balance of flavors. It all mixes perfectly. Cant wait for them to start home delivery!

I’m not a much of a health nut or vegetarian, but this place had me eating one thing after another. I got the falafel dog, seoul style bowl, and street corn. All were amazing. I also had the cold brew horchata(it’s coffee) — it wasn’t as good as I hoped, but still different so I have no complaints :) Very nice atmosphere and everyone there was really warm and friendly.

You know… out of all of the spots I’ve tried in my most recent trip to Boston, Whole Heart Provisions was definitely one of the tops! It was an odd find, one where I was deciding where to grab lunch for my girlfriend and I, a spot where I could grab to-go and traverse the land into the Harvard Med region, and on a cold, cloudy(normal Bostonian) day and being passed by the 66, I found myself at Whole Heart. Super hipster, and kind of a sore thumb(positively speaking) from all the spots I’ve been to in Boston. Very reminiscent of CA eateries. I ordered one Seoul Style Bowl and one Miso Style Bowl. Both were super delicious and definitely a good one-two bowl punch that has a good variety of flavors and ingredients to share with another person. There’s definitely enough food for two, and everything is really healthy and fresh. I’m definitely a fan! Will have to return for more!

If you love eating salads its but natural for you to love this place but what’s great about it is even if u hate eating salads which I do! This place was fantabulous. I made my own and the dressings are to die for. I have an ethnic background and love my food with a lot of flavor. This place delivers exactly whatever ur palette desires. Must try if you are around this area oh and by the way I am in no way a vegan or vegetarian. It does not have 5 stars coz it is a bit pricey. I think healthy eating should be reasonable so more people are able to enjoy !!

There are no words. I liked Root and would make the drive from Boston to come out here, but this is a huge upgrade from a place that was already awesome. Wars may be fought over the falafel dog. It will haunt your dreams. Pretty much any of the bowls are great. The seared avocado will give you a new relationship with avocado. Brunch is worth the trip and delicious as well. I really really hope they make this a chain and open up more locations in the area, especially in Boston as there are no vegan/vegetarian restaurants in Boston proper!

I’m a big meat eater. There, I said it. So when my friend suggested brunch here I hesitated because what about the bacon and eggs and butter?! I’m glad I decided not to cancel because whoa– this place brought the most unexpected yummy flavors. We tried a few things because how can you not when you score a legal parking spot in Allston?! Pancakes — fluffy with the right sweetness «Huevos» rancheros — how is there no egg in this dish?! And that pineapple salsa thing and the crispy tortillas. Just so good Home fries — ahh! A medley of baby potatoes fried and perfectly seasoned We also tried the falafel dog and avocado tacos — both delicious(if I had to pick between the two I’d go falafel). Basically it’s freaking tasty — not just for vegan food but for actual everyday meat lover food!

I’m a staunch meat-eater who’s dressing up as bacon for Halloween, but I’m also drinking Whole Heart’s kool-aid. They catered lunch at my office today and I’m campaigning to get our administrative assistant to keep her hand on the order button because their food is phenomenal. We got salads ranging from tropical(The Tazon), crunchy(The Miso), and pickled(The Seeta) to creamy and smoky(The Mission). We got zesty street corn, fresh falafel, barbecued tofu and avocado. All of these items were beautifully prepared and made me feel like less of a lump after days of eating pizza and burgers. My only complaints: — The brick and mortar is not next door to my apartment — I have corn stuck in my teeth

This place is UN-REAL. I absolutely loved Root, but WHP takes the(vegan) cake on this one ;) I ordered the Miso bowl with jasmine rice. It comes with… broccoli, smashed cucumber, edamame, shaved brussel sprouts, sesame crunch & orange miso dressing(totally copied this from the site haha.) I also got a side of the seared avocado… dude…mind…blown! It’s this warm just off the grill avocado with a tahini sauce and crispy lentils & some super rad spices(tastes Mediterranean) and it was TODIEFOR. You need to make a stop here, honestly I would plan my day around this spot. It’s delish! I’m coming back to try more of the bowls and the falafel dog(heard it’s out of this world!) See you soon, WHP :-D

Amazing. I want to come here everyday for lunch. It’s perfect for a creative, delicious, healthy meal, and there is so much variety on the menu. It reminds me of Life Alive, but better — when people find out about it, it’s going to be one of those places that people go crazy for, especially vegetarians(or just veggie-lovers!). Their menu style is such that you either pick from a selection of veggie bowls, or you can make your own. They have tons of wonderful ingredients — brussels sprouts, broccoli, red cabbage, kale, quinoa, etc — all of the healthy and delicious vegetables you can imagine. I’m so excited about this! Going to be a regular for me!
